is the raise on the flop standard and call down on the turn?

I like the hand as played.

The flop raise protects against overcards that MP3 may be calling with. BBs donk could mean a worse pair, a Jx hand or overcards.

After BB donks again on the turn, I think the calldown unimproved is fine.

i think it´s ok to play it like that but i guess i like a raise on the turn as well. why should he play a J like that? a lower pocket or just something stupid is way more likely imo

Same reason guys do the same with AA HU, I guess they figure 3 betting the flop gets too many folds on the turn, where as bet/call flop, donk turn gets more "WTF" calldowns and possibly overcalls on both flop and turn. But I agree, stupid is more likely. :f_biggrin:
