Preflop: Hero is SB with A:h, 6:c.
3 folds, BU raises, Hero 3-Bets, BB folds, BU caps, Hero calls.

Flop: (9 SB) A:s, 4:d, 7:c (2 players)
Hero checks, BU bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (5.5 BB) 9:h (2 players)
Hero checks, BU bets, Hero calls.

River: (7.5 BB) 4:c (2 players)
Hero checks, BU checks.

Final Pot: 7.5 BB.

I don't like his check behind on the river... Donk/fold river seems to be a nice tricky line here, he might call with 88-KK but won't valuebet them. Against a better ace I would lose the same with donk/fold as with check/call.

Depends on Villain, if you know he is somehow reasonable, donk this river, because he will know that on this dry board there is nothing that you will 3-bet preflop and call flop and turn except an Ax hand, and he will check behind very often, but reraise his AJs+, AKo hands. If he is aggressive and SD bound let him raise the river. He will raise 100% of his range, and if you donk he will probably reraise too, so you get in an ugly spot where you will probably fold the best hand. So basically against a aggressive player this situation is Wa/Wb

i agree with cash4bg.
it depends on reads but basically i like the idea behind the donk
