I gotta bet this river to get value out of lower pocket pairs and Qx hands. But against a c/r on the river, or vs a donk I suppose I should fold. I don't expect him to bluff me very often.

I would not fold against a donk. If you do so, it is just too obvious that you folded a pair. Your smarter villains will start donking all these spots because it is highly profitable against you.

I think valuebetting is fine.


I like it as well. Too often he has just a weak made hand which he is calling again.

A donkbet is a call for me as well as it's sometimes a bluff.
Against a check/raise it's tough but I think I fold if he is not very tricky/aggressive/unreasonable.
