Hello.

This is edit of an older blog, started 2 years ago but interrupted after 2 or 3 weeks due to ambition and motivation of playing.

Now will be different, will be big !

I'm 22 years old, and i'm playing poker for about three years, but not big winnings, few hundred bucks at 3-4 mounts.

I started my new challenge 2 weeks ago, on PartyPoker when i deposited 200$ for a 200$ bonus offer. I have a blog on the Romanian site so i will update this one as that one, and after this i will keep both updated !

I'm playing NL4 for 2 more days and after i will go to NL10.

Starting details:

BR: 222 $
Partypoints: 13
NL 0.02/0.04 6 tables FR

Objectives until 10 February:

Getting used with PP ->
 BR > $ 301 DONE :club:
PP > 211 points PaptyPoints ( to release the first bonus rate ) DONE :club:

Short - Med time objectives:

Once i reach NL10 ( in two days ), i will play 7 days to have time to settle in, to take notes on players then the goal is to reach 1000$

Until 10 March:

:club:BR > 1000$
:club: 25000 Hands
:club: At least 2 more bonus parts released ( 40$ )
:club:Read all Bronze strategy articles from the Romanian site one more time
:club:Watch at least 1 video each day !

1000$ until 10 March means (650 -40) $/21days -> 29$ each day.

I write this blog to see my evolution in time. I hope I will get feedback, that will help me to become a excellent poker player.

Every feedback and recommendation is welcomed and highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi Calin, best of luck with your goals and your blog.
My first observation would be that you seem to be playing way above your bankroll and sensible BRM would suggest.
Its so tempting to try to make money quickly but variance affects all players good and bad, and at the levels you are playing, especially 4 tabling you could go bust literally in 5 minutes.
My advice for what its worth is either drop down the limits and build up that way or deposit more in your bankroll.

I will love to read your blog! Good luck :)

P.S. rhinoneil is right though.

Good luck Calin.

Hopefully you are playing SSS with $60 on nl10. In which case BR is fine.

If not then rhinoneil and mustafov are right drop down to nl2

I play SSS, nl 10. I'm very consciously about my bankroll and what is the risk to play at four table in same time.

ps: Excuse me for my English and for mistakes of the past and future.

Have a nice day and tx for replies

25BI on 4 tables at micro limits is fine IMO

Some are born to play poker .. and others to enrich them. It seems I'm in second category.

Last 2 days -35 $

I'm disappointed, mistrust in my force and full of tilt. I loose 5-6 buy-in with AK all-in in preflop, and another bad beat .. even with AA and KK.

Br : 25.17 $

I hope I will have better days. Anyway today I will not playing poker any more. I go out with friends and I hope I forget that bad day. And tomorrow .. I take over again.

Today .. was a pretty good day. Some nice hand gated but lost another with straight and flush.

this is a nice hand goted .. and a big pot on the table.

BM : 50.04 $ ! .. i hope i will make >100 until end of the month.

update.

Today .. is my best day. 30$ profit in 3h, 700 hand, nl10 SSS. I think is preety good.

BR: 91$

In this hand, he had AA

you guys really think 20BI for SSS is a good idea? If i look at how you lose 50% of your bankroll in 2 days Something tell me it isn't very safe BRM.. It's your choice i guess, and now your almost at a proper brm. (i wouldn't recommend less then 50 in any game tbh)

Goodluck i guess, everytime i tried agressive bankroll management it backfired and i had to grind my way up again.

20 bi for sss is a good strategy, almost for beginners players like me. You cant loose more money then you put in the pot ... For this month I still play SSS and from 1 may I will change my play style to BSS.

20BI with BSS is really not a good idea.. I'd really recommend using 50 Buy ins atleast. It's your choice i guess, but a good player knows when to move down..

20 is too low. I think the articles mentioned at least 30 buyins which I also think is kind of low unless you don't mind moving down in stakes fast. The edge you can possibly have over your opponents with SSS is rather low so you should have 50 I think. But 25-30 is fine until you start playing NL50 and above I think. At NL10 there are enough idiots around to feed you money

anyway .. slowly I ill go to BBS, because SS is not profitable after a point anumt.

today BR 89 ! .. im in free fall :(

Why the fuck are you sitting at the table with 9$? If you are playing SSS??? And why are you calling a raise with KJ? Hmm I think you have to check the strategy articles again...

Might be worth reading a blog before you flame it.
He says he has switched to BSS.
Although, Calin, you really should drop down to NL2 with your roll if you are playing BSS
