Maybe better to fire the turn again, and check behind river?

By betting the turn you charge flushdraws (lower than Jhigh) another bet, and you might make fold K6-K9 floats (better hands that beat you and can fold). And you get called from 5s, 2s, 33, 44, 66, 77.

The thing that would make decision easyer would be to know wheather he bets the river with weak pairs (twos, 33, fives) if you c-behind turn .

If he does, than its better to bet the turn and c-beihnd river for reasons mentioned above. You get the same amount of the bets from flushdraws as if he bluffed river with them - and he might not allways do it + you can make some K-highs fold.

If he doesnt bet that weak pairs on the river, then the portion of his busted draws increases against hands that beat you, so you should be more inclined to c-behind turn and call or check(if he does not bet) river.

If he is straight forward you will rarely get a c/r on the turn. You might still be ahead of some gutshots and flushdraws and some better hands or hands with 6 outs which floated the flop might fold.

I prefer a bet therefore.

Against other players with a higher chance to get check-raised, I would check behind with my gutshot and some SD value. If he will often bet the river with a busted draw is another pro for check behind.

By the way: You said, he would c/r the flop with Ax. Therefore his range on the river should consist of even more bluffs which makes a call more valuable.

i don't see this guy ,with a wts of 45, not folding with a better hand. i see him calling with KJ and KT and with each pair. if i decide to bet the turn again, i bet the river as well but this moron tend to see the showdown too often. if he may be able to float with J or T-high hands with a bd-Flushdraw, i would rather bet but not really a lot of better hands will fold to the turnbet. as played fold river.
