When you donk is he calling enough worse hands? With this WTS and passiveness I think a bigger part of his range are hands that will bet the river again, and then you can c/r here.

this guy won't bet KK on the river but only AJ AK i guess and against AJ and AK, you don't have a raise. to prevent a checkbehind with a pocketpair, i would go for a donkbet.
