UTG: t2525 M = 16.83
UTG+1: t1930 M = 12.87
MP: t1530 M = 10.20
CO: t1350 M = 9
Hero (BTN): t2425 M = 16.17

Pre Flop: (t150) Hero is BTN with A :heart: A :spade:
4 folds, Hero raises to t350, 2 folds

I just want to get some opinions on this situation. I had 2 TAGs left to act behind me and my thought was that I probably won`t get action, but if they do end up with a hand, then my larger raise makes a re-steal shove more appealing. Do you think this is true

i like your reasoning for the larger raise size, but i usually just keep it consistent so they cant get a bet sizing tell in future games. If it was t120-240 and they were unknowns i would suggest a limp to induce

Hi all,

I like it if you don't overdo it :). When people aren't calling preflop too much then yes a larger raise will often induce more resteals (within reason).
