Nice man. I might be going to a friends farm house in KGF. Going to be crazy there. It's a huge place with a pool and stuff and there are going to be quite a few ppl there.
Killer! Sounds like a lot of fun.
Yeah, some of my friend's were planning a farmhouse thing too. And there's usually some drunken poker that happens there, which is usually very profitable. But in mood for quiet house party.. I must be growing old. Lets see
hey man
yeah, long time not see, because i was lazy with blogging ♦
i see you running good in the last time.

Hey good folks!
@Minh: Yeah, got my list down. Should be in the previous post! Could I join your sng study group? I see that you have regular session reviews with other members here. Want to climb quickly, and need to sharpen my game!
Had a nice relaxing vacation in kodaikanal. Got back today morning to a long and interesting day! Played some poker. Played decently and ran quite bad, always running into top of peoples ranges. But played well, so I'm glad. Still a couple days of vacation left!
Deposited and raked enough for the 770 depositors freeroll tomorrow. i'm guessing the field should be small, given end of year and all. Lets hope they don't fuck up my ticket this time!
BR: $252
I tried to change things up in this hand, and wanted to trap with a monster pre. Too many people had gotten away doing that against me, so wanted to try it out . Had interesting results!

hey alpabeat
there is a missunderstanding about sng study group, because there is no one ♦
i am in only some german skype sng/mtt groups.
but yes, i made a review with ahbi from this community too,
but it´s not a group
but if u have questions dont hesitate to ask, i guess here are a lot of good players who help you.
keep on playing poker and traveling, man
i wish u good luck for both !
cheers
Busted out of the freeroll for $10 after a crushing bad blow from chip lead. I flopped nut flush draw, and completed on turn, but villain slowplayed a flopped fullboat.
Was 40th or so in chips, but busted out in 150th for pittance.Grrr. Damn annoying. Anyway, thats tournament poker. Thats why i stick to 45 mans. Heartbreak gets over so much faster when the game only lasts an hour
Back to werk after vacation week tomorrow. Then new years party!
Read blogs by sng experts <3 and Rovartry, excellent stuff. Shall follow some ideas they use while writing my blog henceforth.
Started off the year on a delicious downswing, 14 games straight without a cash. But am definitely playing my A/B+ game, just tragically running into sets/AA or getting called by someone with strictly -ev, but better than my hand. Anyway, no point in cribbing, had my upswing last week, which was delicious. Now to just ride through this one. But feels so sapping not cashing a single one...

Great fun! Peaceful house party with a bunch of people. Made fondue and mulled wine. Awesome stuff!
How was your fancy KGF pool party?
Haha changed plan even though that happened. I went to Catholic club.
Met a lot of old friends there. Everyone says I've bloated up like mad. Time to start exercising.
Where did you say you go for kick boxing?
Ah, cool.
Savage fighting arts, which used to be shootfighters. Where do you stay? There are centres across bangalore, Don't go nowadays cos i only get the time on weekends, and its too expensive for just two days. There's deets on the fb page:
Hmm, we should do a meetup for bangalore based folks at least. Shall start a thread, and check if there's any weekend we could meetup or something!
I think i'm playing on tilt, so shifted down the stakes and increased tables. Nothing like learning when playing at worst form. But it helped, since I was forced to think faster and play less hands. But majjorly f*ked up one hand in a table where i was almost guaranteed 2nd place. Unnecessary high variance play for the epic fail

Haha sick fold by BU and CO. Guess they were both hoping for the other guy to lose first. Doubt they expected this to happen.
Thanks for the link. Will check it out. I stay in Victoria layout. You?
Also yeah there are quite a few active Bangalore players. We should meet up and maybe play a bit too just for fun.
Hey alpha,
I need help too, recently i had to shift out from bangalore since it's too far to my factory and shift to my hometown which is near compared to bangalore.
So problem is, i used to go gold's gym now in my hometown i find awful gym's here so looking for different type of work, you suggest martial arts or karate or any other type of work-out? i am not sure yet, if this place have martial arts class or not.
@MaHnaK: Make sure you check out a martial arts place properly before joining, if at all. Most trainers aren't very well trained/ or trained only to fight, not to teach, so their classes are quite injury prone. If you have nice open spaces in davanagere, why bother with a gym at all?
We're doing plays this weekend!

Bangalore junta, come for it, should be good fun!
Lo People!
Play was decent, good turnout. Come tomorrow!
@Clawin: didnt see you question there! I live in jp nagar. Oh, and I figured that it must be Chethan, and asked him if he knew you. And he acted brilliant today!
Wassup forum!
decide to go for gold this month, on stupid ipoker network. Want to rake the minimum possible to make gold, since I only play break even at STSnGs. (and the mtsngs on ipoker are ridiculously expensive)
So I need 500/31 = 16.3 points per day. 10 of these come for free from PS, so assuming I play everyday, i need to rake at least 6.3 points, about 1.3 dollars a day. More if I miss any days. I think the $2.4 jackpot sng's are the best suited for these at a rate of 3-4 a day.
So goal is to do this chore everyday, before heading to stars where i can play my game
Cheers!
AB
Yeah? Nice I haven't seen him act yet. He keeps cursing me for it. ♦
Nice goal for the month. Gold will help you get access to some awesome videos which I'm sure will help any player.
Lo all,
wrt Jan gold target, running just under requirement due to 2 missed days. Will have to get a little aggressive about this and finish by 25th in order to account for missed days
Recalc-ed plan:
Points left: 357
Days left: 16
Points per day= 22.312 - 10 = 12.312
So shall need to rake 2.4 dollars a day. ie, six of those 2.4 dollar games. Sigh
Work is getting interesting, and have a bunch of travel and other plans setup for the next month. I likes!
Win money,
Alpha
