played a few 0.50 turbos today which went pretty well, i only got one cash in a 6th place but had some good stacks in all 3 of them before losing in two. I might play some more turbos daily as i'm trying to work on my ICM play in sng wiz a bit and icm trainer and turbos get you into ICM pretty quickly. Today is a bit frustrating, does it annoy you guys when your at a table full of calling stations and when you get AA everyone folds behind you even to a min raise!

Just chatted to some guy on a table who said that he is preparing a case against pokerstars because the software isn't completely random and cleverly makes them more money and that money is also laundered through pokerstars by Russians and through cyrpus and greece. He said it will come out soon enough.

This is the hand that finished me in the $1.50 90man. I mean what are the chance of him having QK, surely he would raise pre with QK anyway? but i figured then maybe q or king high would play like that. Probably should folded river but against someone limping from sb? actually i've just checked his stats and over 56 hands he limps 13% and never raises.

I can't see that Pokerstars would rig their RNG. Why would they run the risk of getting exposed and then losing their chance to enter the US market again? As well as losing their worldwide customer base if such allegations were found to be true? They already make a killing on the rake, so why would they risk their business empire? But having said that, I did make my best run-good the first week I deposited there. The same for Full Tilt as well. So that first deposit conspiracy theory could be true....

I can believe that organised criminals like to money launder through online Pokersites. But as for Pokerstars rigging their RNG, well every site I play on is the same for runner runners and suckouts of every kind. So if Pokerstars is rigged, they are all rigged.

Yeh, i don't see why they would either. It's certainly a good excuse for hitting bad variance and getting a lot of bad beats, it can certainly make you feel like it's rigged. I don't believe it is rigged but i do think often really bad fish pretty much playing junk hit some amazing good runs.

I have a decent Bankroll to move up to the $1 45man MTT but I took a few shots there and I wasnt ready to move up.

I was planning on skipping the $0.50 45man MTT Turbo but I have to get used to turbos anyway. I will be moving up there soon.

I dont think am a good MTT player when I play the $0.25 because its so fishy and you can get a quick double up.

cool, well i didn't play many 0.50's at all, i skipped them and went to some $1 games when i got to around $70.

Well today was pretty sick! +$38.07 br now $168. a bit annoyed though! my AQ got beat by a4suited hitting a flush! damnnit, that would have been an extra $10 at least possibly.

managed 2nd in a $1.50 90man knockout for about $20 after bounties and 7th in a $4.50 180 man (the first i've played) really annoyed that i didn't finish higher though would have been a nicer BR boost! but not bad either way. Not going to play many $4.50 as it's way above my br, but i've been grinding breakeven for a week or two and i was sick of it and thought i'd have a go.

Congratulations you are now fully rolled for the $1 45-mans.

I understand the $4.40 180-mans are soft, with half the field composed of donkeys and fish leaving a ton of dead money. But I think you need 200 buy-ins to play them without running the risk of ever going broke.

thanks yeh i'm a long way from playing 4.50 games regularly but it's fun now and then as a treat lol. This afternoons session has been horrible. Getting stuck in difficult spots against fish with mad bets and ending up messing up because i didn't know what was going on., getting beat by higher pairs every time i push a pair, especially 1010 which has lost about 5 times today.

eveything i push from button or sb meets insane strength everytime. Oh well, i'll try and bring my A game later and grind back up if it's possible.

tonight is even more annoying. i actually want to quit. AA beaten by 77 hitting a straight, aq by aj. I can't win a thing. oh great my qq push hits ak and they hit.

really focused tonight and felt i played a good game but it doesn't matter when you get bad beat or sucked out every hand.

going to play again later anyway haha.

ok, i did manage a 2nd in a $1 so it ended ok, although i did have a nice lead with 3 players left they bad beat me and also my push at the end their q2 beat my A9

it's mad when every bet preflop to isolate gets called by 4 players

Today I visited the dentist again. My tooth wouldn't go numb again so I have to go back for a third time and if that doesn't work i'll have to be sedated which i don't really fancy haha.

Managed a short 2 mile run today through some mud which was good fun. The poker wasn't so much fun, a couple of $ down today for 18 games. I played fairly tight today got pretty card dead and when i got decent hands the fish shoved or i got beat e.g qq by ax. I managed to read a bit of the math of holdem but i really need to study my game a lot more and watch strategy videos because although I feel i'm much better than when i started and notice things I never would have before, i want to get a lot better soon and spend more time studying the game

Had some good stacks tonight but lost them all losing out to every race, mostly when i had AQS, ak, aj vs low pair and the low pair kept holding up

BR currently back down to around $158

I think my games a bit all over the place at the moment, i'm trying to learn and take on board some new ideas but also sticking to the basics and playing pretty tight mostly and trying to pick good spots when i do widen my range slightly. I really feel a bit lost in terms of how to play right now. the $1 games don't seem to be working out great at the moment.

The only real positive this month has been that i'm about to reach chromestar for the first time, it's not really got any good perks but at least its something achieved.

The $1 games not working out for me aswell. The variance seem crazy to me.

need to take more shots and hope the bad spell will be over

Yeh it gets pretty crazY! but i like to think a lot of it is me so i need to learn and learn, i don't like to consider variance i just look for ways to improve or break things haha

ended up a few $ but really annoyed, my ak push from co hit AA, eveything i push tonight got really bad beat and then AK hits AA, it's really sofrustrating when your having a good niht and eveything goes against you

Break even day today, played all $1 games apart from a few $0.50 45 man turbos. Got a bit unlucky not to get a few bigger itm's managed a 5th and a 6th in $1 and a 3rd in a 0.50. AQS got bad beat when i was 2/6 in one of them.

Colin Moshman's coaching yesterday was great learnt quite a bit about icm pushing and realised that in certain spots i'm probably not pushing quite wide enough by not realising which cards I can push. I've marked a lot of push/fold spots and i'm studying them on sng wizard pretty good fun.

I may try and play some more 0.50 games this weekend because they involve a lot more push/fold game.

Also adam, great to see you moving up through the stakes. Looks like you're finally done with the $0.25 and are mostly playing $0.50 and $1 tournaments now. Definitely an achievement you can be proud of
