still running pretty hot. i'm using a generally LAG style, with lots of 3-betting pre in position, and some degree of floating, etc. postflop. my won $ w/o showdown is positive, at +20$ :).

haven't been able to play a ridiculous amount of hands yet though, as i've been quite busy in university commitments, and i never play while tired (for me, play while drunk >>> play while tired).

well 5000 more hands and i'm pretty disillusioned by cash O.O. i had been playing very similarly, but badbeat after cooler after badbeat saw a 15 buy-in downswing, at 1500$ (i think it's a downswing at least). i've posted quite a few hands, but in general the "coolers" have been very very standard. on tilt, i withdrew most of my bankroll (total withdraw: 2600$). i left about 700$ in it, and i'm playing some 15+1$ sngs again.
seems the battle of the planets promotion has attracted some very very fishy players ^^, have an ROI of ~28% since returning to it (not so bad, my overall ROI on this limit is about 30% after 300 games). i'm trying a newish strategy adapted from the BSS cash strategy (tightened up a bit), raising a couple more hands from late position, and raising any two cards at early limits against regulars (SB vs BB ♦). seems alright so far, but only time will tell of course.
bankroll is now at 830$.
on a side note: i'm away for a week next week with friends (basically, now you handjudges have to actually do your job ;))

ouch, well... downswing continues into SNG. i've won a total of 1/~30 coinflips in the past 30 tournaments, and as a result i'm down about 24 buy-ins. this was after running breakeven for the past week as a result of trying out new things (some of which i've incorporated, some i haven't)
bankroll is now at ~520$ which is obviously nowhere near enough to play 15+1 tournaments, but i'm continuing as a step down (6+.5) is far too much, and i have enough money behind to cover it (not the money i've withdrawn, but i mean in other places online).
i've dropped off the sharkscope average profit leaderboard (i was 14th there for a while for my limit) after this downswing, as well :(.
after getting sngwizard and reviewing my sessions, however, i'm quite happy with my game at the moment, and i'm pretty sure i can now beat this and the next 2 levels with at least a 15% ROI. the question is what the next step is to be. i'm considering getting some AHK scripts, and starting to ~30table, like my friend does with NL200FR, but obviously the first step would be to totally perfect my game and speed up my decisions. at bankroll = 3000$, i will then reconsider what my game of choice will be, be it SnG or cash.

~30 tables ??!? how can one even manage that many tables, unless one plays QQ+, AK ♦
what kind of AHK script are you planning to use ?
plus you'll need like a 50' screen and one hell of a computer but maybe you've got those already
nope, the way to megatable IMO is to do 1 screen, with perfect overlap, scripts to automatically activate timebank, and queued popup (this is pokerstars default) as well as a couple of AHK scripts to bet pot, and some scripts to automatically search up people's stats.
if you tile too many tables your eyes and head get sore very quickly
urghh, more and more sick bad luck since the last update. bankroll dwindled to about 420$, then i booked a win for the first time in a while today (+50$, lol). bankroll is now at 495$.
most of my time at the moment is split between gta4 and uni work though, so don't expect much progress anytime soon (although hopefully it'll be progress upwards!)
wow, this whole thread makes me want to switch from cash games SSS to SnGs right now. I have been barely breaking even with SSS (Actually down about 8$ from my initial 50$ playing by the strategy articles
