Hello...its been time for an update, but not much happened tbh. I didnt play that much. Only some tournaments, some deep runs- nothing special. Had some things to do on the university, exams and stuff- so I was kinda busy- now I will try to make up for the lost (playing)time.
Yesterday it was my first coaching where I was the coach...aaaand I didnt suck that hard. Managed to share some info, used are chips wisely and we managed to ship an 11$ turbo SnG for 400$ ♠_thumbsup:

I must say, I've really enjoyed this break I took from, well nearly everything. Im chilled out, ready for new challenges.
The SCOOP should be a great one...a challenge I mean. Im sure there will be loads of players playing this event. Enormous fields on the MTTs...will be one to boost my endurance and stamina. especially on the low limits.
I still have to improve significantly...in every aspect of the game. Well, Im here to learn and to have a good time.
Oh and to teach...well looks like it anyway ♦

Hello- so the SCOOP didnt start well for me, ok I didnt expect much from it tbh...
I need to run REALLY good to beat the 20K+ field...
but I cant say Im too dissapointed with this week so far. Yesterday I have reached the final table of the 22$ 1r1a tournament. And I was chipleader ♠_cool:
I played fairly aggressive, made some questionable moves aswell. But all together, Im was pretty satisfied with my play. Im especially glad that I have managed to play like I should. I wasnt distracted by the payout structure, I wasnt scared money. Although I wanted to take down that tournament- to take a shot at a few high stakes tournaments on the SCOOP- I was denied at the end, and finished the night on 6th place- to cash 2890$.
Its a nice sum of money, but I cant take to many shots on the higher stakes with this amount unf.

since last time a lot has happened. I decided to buy a 24'' monitor which will make poker more fun ofc- currently Im playing on my laptop which has like 16'' so it will be a nice change
Well about poker, I better get grind on my mind: need to play 45- 11$ sngs daily to get my bonus cleared. So that will be fun. prolly I will lock myself in my room 4 a weekend and do nothing else than playing those SnGs.

On pokerstars, as you know I busted on 6th place on the 22$ 1r1a- so I was denied in my plan to take a few shots on the midstake scoop events. or at least it made it harder.
I've decided to buy 15-20 step tickets and try to make it to step4. I think it can be used as a BI to 215$ tournaments. And there are a few 215$ events so Im looking forward to figthing my place into one of them.

Tuesday I will coach someone from the hungarian community. Unf I had to give up the miniFTOPS coachings cause they have a pretty big field and I want to play the scoop events aswell,
and I need to pass some exams aswell & ofc find some time for my friends+gf+family. oh yes and I almost forgot sleeping and eating ♦ Im feeling bad about the miniFTOPS coachings, cause it would have been a great challenge for me.

Btw-I posponed the steps on monday, so I will play those today and gonna play some MTTs aswell. I will prolly record the MTTs and make some kind of video out of it since I downloaded the Camtasia studio. I still have to figure out how it works but at first it didntt seem so complicated.
This week I had a few exams so I didnt play as much as I wanted to, well at least that goes for the MTTs. I had a session sunday, had a nice deep run in the 55$ daily 90k, but busted on the 60th place- was more in that tbh, but I made a mistake, than I got punished for it when I went all-in to revive my stack from 14bb-s with KK and a QTo snapcalled me and turned the Q as 2nd pair so I went out
not a great result, was more in it tbh...a lot more.
Oh well, I will have another big session today, hope I will record some final table action aswell ♠_cool:
So, I've recorded my first video...well it was a standard session, nothing special, few deep runs, some itm finishes. But I need to improve my video making skills significantly-so my first "published" video could be an enjoyable one.
Im playing these step sngs at the moment, and if I wouldnt know better I would be on tilt sooooo bad. But Im an amateur triing to act professionally so Im still climbing and wont ever stop...well except for lunchbreak...
I realized I dont have the grindig skills needed to become supernova elite one day. I just get bored playing sngs...
I mean I can play a 16hr long MTT session anytime, but I get tired when I play a 3hr long sng session. its maybe because Im in with MTTs ♦
anyway that part of my game needs massive improvement.
yeah, I guess it would be a great thing to make SNE one day, a lot of privilages to go with that title...but when I started to play poker srsly, I promissed myself to put quality over quantity. Well if I want to reach my goal of becoming SNE I will need to match those criteria somehow like this:
QUALITY + QUANTITY = ELITE LEVEL
I'll try to keep that in mind during my next sng session ♠_thumbsup:

So, I had a big and tiring MTT session today, its not finished tbh, im still semi-deep in the 1r1a trny.
I invested a lot in this tournaments sunday, played 2 high stake events, unf without any result.
Overall Im pleased with tonights preformance, I just have to work on my "winning the flips" part of the game ♦
I still have a lot to improve, but I feel confident, now even in the higher and the high stakes games and I think that is very important. Some time needs to pass until I become a regular at those high stake events, but I will be patient and will definitely work harder and harder to be better and to be one of the best players even on those nosebleed stakes of tournament poker.
In a month or so I will go to a live event, its kinda high stakes, but not the WSOP, well, who knows Im still playing those step sngs ♦
I will read some live game tips, how to hide your tells, etc.
I was reading the Supersystem 2 a few days ago, and got to mike caros tips part. He is giving some pretty good advice on how to improve your concentration, how to deal with tilt, how to focus only on the game not on the money. I found that part pretty interesting.
Cant wait on boku's book...I want to get some tips on efficient multitabling, and get to know basically how to be a robot.
In the coming days Im gonna concentrate a little more on reading some tips about live poker, besides grinding ofc.

Long time no see...
Well this weekend was absolutely poker free...not that I didnt want to play. But I didnt have the right mindset to sit and play mtts for long hours.
I have a few real life issues I have to solve, the quicker the better. you see, "my" university got into a few questionable tax related problems, which is a problem to us really, because in a few years, maybe even a few months time, the whole thing could be closed. and our work, time, money and diplomas right down the toilet. I dont want to wait till that happens.
So now Im on my search for a new place to finish my studies, and to find the easiest way to do that.
Im really sorry it had to come to this though. I will try to resolve this problem in the easiest and quickest way possible.
Aside from this "inconvenience" this weekend was fun. The only thing that kinda ruined it was the CL final. All-in-all we have no reason to cry, FCBayern had a great season, they have a great team, and we will be back next year...believe that. (next years CL final: Arsenal vs Bayern---that would be a dream come true)
Tomorrow I will play some poker. I want to grind some mtts and step SnGs aswell.
I will have nothing else on my mind, just poker, the tables and me, nothing else.

And from my point of view its a great thing to write a blog, it will be sooo interesting to read it from the beginning when you make it.
or not, its not the point. I think the point would be to analise, learn and play, play,play...and ENJOY doing that and post ur progress in the blog.
its only natural to have more interested ppl when u become more successeful, but I think its not "real" if u start a blog when u are a superstar, its the progress that counts.
Ofc its a great way to promote poker with "stars".
Who are bringing sick results and living the dream of any poker player. Travelling, playing on big tourneys, doing what they feel like.
But what ppl dont see at first is the incredible amount of work and time that is invested in this game.
Its not enough to play, u have to practice, figure out how the game is changing, how can u be more and more good.
There are ofc some supertalents who doesnt need to sit and analize games for long hours or learn from poker books and articles.
But I am not one of them, I am one who has to learn a lot, math isnt my strongest side, so that is some more work for me.
And this blog is my story, the story of an average player, who's triing to become one of the best players. investing both time and energy.
maybe along the way I make some friends, have some interesting sweats, maybe coach somebody, maybe I get coaching from somebody.
I write post in the blog because I like it, noone else have to like it or even read it.
But every post, every letter will be a build up for something great. Its in the progress, not the final result.

Hello everybody. while my online carrier is "breaking even" right now. I decided to visit the beautiful capital of Hungary. Today is the sat for the PPT (People's Poker Tour---BI for the ME is 1.6k euros).
Im meeting with a friend when I get there, and we will have a busy schedule unf. I have to get to the reserved hotel and to the satellite on time, to confirm my reservation on both places.
When I do that we will have a few hours free, so I will prolly suggest to grab something to eat:D

At least on the PPT satellite. I finished on 5th place, and didnt get entry to the 1.6k main event.
It was an awesome trip though. I met some ppl from pokerstrategy in Budapest, and we had a good time.
When I got home I felt tired so I didnt play for a few days, there was something wrong with the internet aswell.
Today Im planning a whole day grind, got some water, a few energy drinks, shaded room and my big ass monitor and ofc determination to make something happen. yesterday there were some promising tournaments, which didnt live up to that promise. Nothing else than the usual deep runs.

Its World Cup time!!! well it has been running for a while now, but its still early to predict anything the final winner.
Football sucks though...not much action, cant blame the players---everyone wanted to play it safe in the first matchday. the 2nd will be different-believe me.
hopefully we will see a lot more goals. I really like the betting game here at strategy. I just hate myself that the I usually forget to place my bets in time
I wanted to deposit some money to bwin- to make some real bets, but I cant upload my ID and bills for some reason

Tbh I dont play much since the World Cup started, and wont be till it stops, only on some rare occasions. a few mtts and some omaha cash (I recently started to play that)
So not much poker...Im focused on football now. The 2nd round will be the best for betting. Now we get a much clearer picture how the teams play.

Argentina-South Korea --- less than 2.5 goals bwin only gives 1.6 odds for that to happen, so the gutsy gamblers can bet for the under 1.5goals which pays 2.75 (final result tipp: 1-0)
South korea display against Greece was impressive, but I dont see them playing that attacking against Arg. On the other hand Argentina was good against Nigeria, but didnt manage to score goals. I expect the same from them today. Struggle to score, but manage to win by 1 or 2 goals.
Beautiful play from Argentina, but I feel that the Koreans were scared enough...they can defend much,much better than this. Final Result 4-1
Greece-Nigeria --- 2, you can simply play a double or nothing on this match, because the odds are simply 2 for Nigerias victory, or you can play on Greece not scoring a single goal on the match with nearly the same odds (final result tipp 0-2)
The reason is Greeces poor preformance against Korea- I just cant see them beating Enyema, Nigeria looked solid against Argentina and Im confident that they will land a valuable victory against Otto Rehagels team.
Nigeria shouldnt have lost this, unbelievable stupid kick from Kaita, he got the red card and sentenced his whole team to a costly loss. they could have won it, Obasi missed the whole goal, when the result was 1-1, Enyeama was brilliant until his mistake...Greece felt the power after the nigerian got his marching orders. This is indeed a big surprise. Final result 2-1
France-Mexico --- Im really not sure what these 2 teams can do. Imo they will or at least should play more open football, because you dont want your fate to be decided on the last match of the group stage. So I will play for over 2.5goals or the both team scores bet. but the odds for the first bet are better 2.55.

France were simply impotent. They were like a bunch of players from a regional divison...well I have to apologize to those players who I compared them with. Awful preformance. Cant take anything away from the mexicans though, great game from the lads. a few really good, even brilliant moves. I was glad to see Hernandez in action. I would like to see Mexico winning the group. Although its likely that they wont risk too much against Uruguay, although it will be a battle for avoiding todays big preformers Argentina
