Ok cool, let me know when you are ready to go and we can pick up the old habit of weekly reviews again!

I will send you message on skype as soon as that happens.
Watch out the 30s, Gavra is running 4k below EV on them , it can hurt your BR for sure.

I had a two hour coaching session with Ghaleon on monday and I/we have discovered a few things to improve. I made quite some notes during the session but I was stupid enough to make them in Notepad. After that I had to reboot my laptop, pop-up showed up "Do you want to save this file", pff hell no, I only use Notepad for useless notes.. oh wait... &%$^%$^%$^$. Luckily Ghaleon made a recording of the session so I will check that out and make notes again. Thanks to Ghaleon I also finally tried Holdem Resources Calculator, why did I not do that before? It has answers for so many spots I wasn't sure how to quantify.

The habit of setting weekly goals slipped a bit so I will continue to do that from next week again. As I will make a trip to Copenhagen today until Sunday I'm not going to set any weekly goal for this week. However for next week I will set the following goals:

- Gym 3 times
- Grind 430 games
- Bike 50KM (I find it much harder to find motivation bike inside so need to build this up again)
- Post 8 hands in the eval forum

I have sometimes forgot to ask if recording is wanted. Fortunately this was not one of those times :)

Yeah hrc is nice tool and also very cheap for limits you play. We didnt have much of postflop stuff, but I think there were quite a few preflop overall strategy things.

How is HRC treating you ?

It's going well, I haven't worked that much with HRC yet though so I will put that in next week's goals. I will also start working on my mental game again from next week on, because there are a few triggers that occur pretty quickly.

Let's schedule a session either next week or the week after, I'll talk to you on Skype.

I can help with HRC as I use it a lot, there are some very useful features.
Done for the session, let me just move to this new office tomorrow and we can schedule it soon after that.

Another week is over, so let's recap. Last week went pretty well, despite not achieving all of my goals. One thing I will work on this week, and most likely for some weeks to come, is my mindset. It is a reoccurring issue and it has cost me enough money now, so I will listen to the audiobook of the mental game and work on it. The thing is that because I have read chapters of the book a few times already, I can already recognize it faster when I'm starting to tilt but I'm not at the point yet where I can calm myself down again.

A review of last week's goals:

- Post 8 hands in the eval forum (I got to exactly 8)

Goals for this week:

- Gym 3 times
- Grind 300 games (not sure how much I'll be able to put it with the holidays coming up)
- Bike 50KM
- Post 5 hands in eval forum
- Work on 2 types of tilt

Nice thread! Thanks for reassuring me that HRC is a beast (as well as ghaleon :f_wink: ), I need to learn my way around it soon to avoid getting slaughtered ;(

How's the Ongame midstake SnG traffic nowadays, when the network seems dead, if you don't mind me asking? What volume is possible there monthly? I almost haven't played there because Essence rapes cash games, but it doesn't rape tourneys :)

Happy New Year and gl in 2014!

Thanks for reading!

I'm only playing at Ongame right now to clear a reload bonus, otherwise I wouldn't even consider the midstakes at Ongame. Traffic is super low, I'm combing $22/$33/$54s and still I barely get 20-30 games in over like 2-3 hours. I combine it with stars, otherwise its just a huge waste of time.

Ah yes I remember. You normally don't play 30s do you? (at least I don't think I've seen you much at the 30s)

So today was the last playing day of the year for me and consequently also the last day of December. This month was as far as I know a record month when it comes to pre-RB winnings and the second best month post-RB.

I did work a lot on my game but I don't think it would be fair to myself to say that this all comes from doing that, I think this month I had pretty good card distribution as well and I obviously don't expect this to be sustainable.

I'm mixing three platforms atm and I'm happy with myself that I rake the amount I need to clear my reload bonus at Ongame, because I really don't like playing there that much anymore. I'm also happy with the hours I played, which should imo be the norm for me from now on (at least in the ballpark of 130-160 hours). After I moved back from Denmark to the Netherlands into my parents home as a temporary solution before I go abroad again I worked a lot more than I used to in Denmark. And there is a very simple reason for that, the amount of distractions I have here at my parents place, as far as social life goes during the week it's non-existent because I live in a small town and all my friends live in Amsterdam which is like a 1.5 hour ride by public transport. I knew that up front and I was actually a bit afraid of it, because I was afraid of falling into a gap after having a nice social live in Copenhagen. But captain kurrkie gave me some solid advice about that, and he was totally right, he told me "You just got to work your ass off and safe up some money so you can comfortable move abroad again". So that's what I did.

I will either write a yearly report tomorrow or in 2014.

It seems I actually forgot to set goals for December, so I'll just check last week's goals:

Goals for this week:

- Gym 3 times (I forgot there were Christmas holidays in between so this one is a huge FAIL)
- Grind 300 games (DONE, 390 games)
- Bike 50KM ((didn't bike at all, pretty dissappointing)
- Post 5 hands in eval forum (DONE)
- Work on 2 types of tilt (I read some, but I always get overwhelmed when I start getting back into it again so I need to implement this in a step by step manner)

Without further due:

Stats:
1396 games, 11% ROI, 10% EV ROI

Profits:
$4550
$100 FTP bonus
$350 Ongame Bonus
$911 RB (all sites combined)

Total: $5911

Hours: 155
$/hr: $38.13
ABI: $30

Graph:

Happy new year to all of you and see you in 2014!
