ughhhh
worst session in quite some time.
down over 6 BI through 6k hands :f_o:

was down about that much early on, but was able to battle back to +1BI. but in the final 1k hands the wheels fell off. lost 99 to 76cc on 98cc A vs huge fish for 330bb pot. then just couldnt win a flip/hand.

oh well, gold star for this coming month. cant wait for plenos academy!

:diamond: 2.2k hands
:diamond: + 8BI

also, im not sure why i ever try to bluff fish deep in pots, because they always find a reason to call down. biggest pot for me yet at NL25 _biggrin:

anyway things are shaping up quite well lately!

i will be getting an $50 vpp bonus very soon, and just found out from pokerstars that i have a $500 deposit bonus to clear if i want :)

im going to be shooting NL50 zoom soon, and am just wondering if anyone has any advice on the matter.

should i just hop right in and 4 table, or should i tone down the number of tables until i get more stats/reads on players???

started off with 1 table at nl50, then eventually ended up playing 4 tables and accumulated 3.5k hands.

unfortunately i did not play very well, and spewed in quite a few spots, and lost quite a good chunk of coin :f_cry:

oh well, i will review the hands tomorrow and see where i made mistakes. boot camp is starting up, so things are good, lets go! :)

having a somewhat tough time at nl50 so far :f_cry:

i feel really good though, i am just unsure of myself in a few spots. for some reason i feel like NL50 are insanely good and will always raise me off my thin value, but that is most often not the case.

anyways, here's a couple fun hands from a quick session i just had :f_biggrin:

had a fairly productive day. switched up some courses at school, and put in some ok volume.

:diamond: posted 10 hands for evaluation
:diamond: 2.2k hands NL50, 1.5k hands NL25
:diamond: + $220
:diamond: watched pleno's downgraded diamond video

i think the best part of the day was pleno's video, it helped me out a ton in regards to my game. i decided to play 2 tables of NL50 to try to get the hang of the limit and implement some of the concept's i learned in the video.

anyways, i had my first positive red-line session at NL50, and i dont feel so out of my depth thanks to the video :f_biggrin:

here's a fun hand from today's session!!

dont float the last hand, there is no monster you can rep later on, ur not so deep and you have close to no equity.

actually id prefer to just give up this on the flop, his 3b overcalling range is just gonna contain so many AQ/KQs/TT-JJ hands, that will most of the time not even fold to 2 barrels...

hey zumpar, thanks for dropping by :)

i have been through your blog and know that you have way more experience at NL50 than i do, so i appreciate this feedback.

i am not sure how often villain will cold call AQ/KQs type hands vs utg open/mp 3bet. i would weight villains range more likely in the 99-JJ region, maybe even some AK hands.

otf, i dont think villain reps anything since i dont think i see AQ/KQs too often (as they would be more inclined to xc), and QQ is not often going to xr such a board.

i think i can still rep monsters later on, i think by flatting i can still rep QQ-AA but i could be wrong.

i realize i have no equity and it might be a spewy play, but i think villain here is full of shit so often that my line makes possible sense.

from your experience at nl50 have you seen lots of cold calls in this situation with AQ/KQs? in my experience so far (10k) hands i have not seen many of such actions, but my sample size is obviously too small X(

able to put in 2 short sessions today

:diamond: 2150 hands
:diamond: +3 BI

starting to get the hang of the limit today a bit more it seems. ran way above ev today winning AQ v TT bvb and chopping KK v AA btn v bb. hoping to keep on going with this and re-watch pleno's downgraded video again tonight.

here's an interesting hand from today. villain seemed somewhat fishy, and i was unsure of whether to check/call river or just jam it in myself.....

hmmmm :f_confused:

I think as a standard you should JAM every time for value,or thin value if u have aggro dinamics etc etc.(this includes u ,not be a nit in the blinds)
