Following up from Monday where I didn't wrote abit at all about Sundays ShortStacking progress, I will include that one here. Plus I talk a bit about how to organize my playing amount in order to reach Diamond. I feel it is a big challenge but at the same time it keeps me playing because sometimes I am just too lazy to play..

Starting with Sunday, I planned to play a long sessiona long with the BOD. So 6 tables on Party + 1 on Stars (BoD) + community talk will have my fullest attention. It was quite hard to do without Taurine.

Concerning Monday (yesterday), I wanted to play 2 sessions but I only played 1 due the fact that in the afternoon, I got a sudden vision of schoolwork I had to do the following day ♦, oops forgot.

Then after my first session from 8 till 9 o'clock in the evening I had the choice between an extra session Poker or playing Team Fortress 2 again. I chose the latter one because I felt tired anyway so concentration wasn't always there when I played Poker for the 2nd time.

Concerning Music, I think it helps a lot listening to Classic Music, as this is only the 2nd day i use it, this is my first impression! Without a can of bullit, I still feel focused on playing proper Poker. I listen several waltz thingies well I can actually give you the download link ♦

As played on Monday, It went better but won a solid amount of BBs whats considered normal. I couldn't check whether I had broken the 100bb+ boundary since that would have me quitted earlier due the Philosophy that the % chance of winning 60/40 edges and stuff is around 7.7%~ so save your bucks and continue playing the next day is more profitable

I reached the 10,000 hits mark on my Blog, wow are these only hits or are those hits really representing the readers ?? I want to know so please reply!

Anyways I got a questionable hand for you, what would you do on the River? Spying on the Enemy is vital to strike successfully..

Yesterday I had loads of time to play Poker, regarding the new goals Ive set for December, it was a wise choice to spend the evening playing Poker. NL100 was all but safe from me since my DB is now up-to-date to know most of the players. The players I do not know are mostly fishes and are noted down immediately.

I played on 7 or 8 tables for more Points because the new Loyalty program of Party is coming and chances are it will be much worser so getting the necessary Ace level (4x multiplier) helps a lot.

Playing a rather dissapointing 802 hands, I managed to get like 120 standard PartyPoints which is only 46 points away from getting to a Diamond status if I continue playing like this.

my Pokerday started at 19:30 CET and ended on 20:30 playing a measly 300 hands or something but with a solid profit of 50bb. And that's a very very formidable result in only 300 hands. oh and I played a mix of NL50/Nl100 because Nl100 was lacking solid and loose tables..

I could not resist playing Team Fortress 2 as part of my break time. I applied for a community to tweak my graphics and Spy skills even though I only play on Publics. It's very funny to master it because you can tilt newbies so easily... ♦

Taking a 90 minutes break is too long but having fun is actually the most important aspect of doing something, whether it is poker or anything else you do not have to do compulsory!

22;30 CET was the start of my 2nd session and it lasted till 23:45 CET mainly on Nl100 because tables there were filled up with n00bs and gee sometimes I just had to laugh and looked at the screen with disbelief.. I cannot think why they made that move or something..

The graph of today was kinda uprising, Elephant crashed 4 times I think so I have to keep my hands off Elephant while playing otherwise, it crashes.. Stupid animal

I managed to peak up at +120bb and that should be the situation where I had to quit since it's the restriction I placed on myself. Read my previous post for the mathematical aspect of this

Once again, I feel better when playing with Classical music, although this is only emotion, emotion should be as positive as possible to maintain your A-game or at least preventing you from tilting! I only need new CDs of classical music

Thanks, I appreciate your comment and it will motivate myself from continueing writing good blog posts
I find pictures through google or Deviantart.com, I brainstorm my title before writing and use thesaurus.com for an alternative synonym. Then I google that or use that word for deviantart and then I use the picture. IMportant however is that I link the picture to the graphic artist to prevent copyright infringments Click on the pictures to go to the main page of the graphic artist .

Well I think Katy Perry or that girl that sings 'Thats not my name'' a gazillion times would deminish your performance while playing poker. but I use a new playlist of Classical music, let's see if I can update that one

Literally taking a small break from the 8-9tabled play (tables were juicy) to take a pee.. After my pee was getting flushed, my concentration was also flushed with it. what the hell?

Whatis also quite frustrating is that I cannot post hands due this stupid Elephant program that needs to re-import all the freaking hands again, screw you (@)U$PJDSKLFJS_F. using a new statistics program will NOT solve the problem today as I want to play today so guess I only re-import NL100 asap.. thanks PS.

Anyways, I played 8-tabled SSS with the PS Table layout (Grey-Black) so whenever I want to make a vid on Nl25 concerning basic or if you want a Nl100 with HUD+stats+Advanced Play, I do not have to switch table themes. Only downside was that I had to re-install PartyPoker.. *blegh*

This session can be divided into 3-three parts:

A. Short Term Variance
B. Uprising
C. Flushing

With the corresponding graph I will explain:

I have to admit that 2.5x RRaising Strategy of xarry2 is quite tricky in terms of giving some % odds away to the opponent. However I think the Reward is more profitable compared when you just shove it everytime. Since I cannot post hands, I have to tell it from the notes I took while playing:

I got dealt Q:sQ:d from Mp1 and make it 4bb, a MonkeyPlayer (Fishy) calls from CO. My stack is quite healthy so the flop comes: J:c 6:c 4:h in a pot of 9.5bb.

I c-bet 6bb into it, getting immediately minRRaised by 12bb. a MinRRaise on the Flop indicates either a draw (strong) or a made hand like Toppair. Wasting no time I shoved my remaining 10bb into the pot. The river comes with a nice 2:s but the river showed a ♣. Villain showed me A:c2:c. Well yeah that sucks and it surely happens. as he had like 12 outs resulting in an equity of nearly 45% based on 2 cards.
In terms of Postflop, we played both well but he had to fold preflop, but I thought Banana's were yellow:s instead of green:c ???

Furthermore, I lost a coinflip (JJvsAK) and lost a 3-way-pot with AA against a rivered gutshot straight draw. I played exactly the same as Xarry did with betting 55% Pot on the Flop and going all-in on the Turn to let them both call me down. They did but I lost by a Gutshot. It was the same fish with the A:c2:c hand. He had Squaduce on the Flop so I am kinda wondering if he was drunk lol

In a short amount of time, I played my way through the break-even point, 0 bb profit or loss. Plays were strictly accordingly to the strategy and well played in my opinion. I cannot look it up for you due Elephant..

I felt good by it and cheered myself up to push it to the limit and end the day with some profit, a boost in motivation so to speak ♦

So I scanned some more tables to join up with and with 8 or even nine tables, I was ready to go but I had to go to the toilet first... guess

Ironically as soon as I sat down rather lousy, losing a hand of which I think was pretty dumb (like AQ or something postflop.. dont know though since I cannot look it up.

What I can remember is that I shoved A:s4:s postflop in a freeplay whereas Villain #1 betted 3bb into a 3bb pot and Villain #2 calls and I check/raised to 17bb on a J:h 8:s 5:s board. No ♠ nor Ace and K:dJ:c wins the pot eventually. Really stupid that I shoved .. could have called it and see if a ♠ pops up..

[Edit] got them except the flushdraw hand since I exited the table earlier..

Knowing the situation where I am in, I am powerless at the moment not able to evaluate my own play. What I know that I have to increase my discipline + dedication towards Poker more. I today saw a girl studying for her Pre-Conservatory course of which she got a test tonight. She studied very hard, intense and with discipline and I was like ''wow.. what was I doing yesterday night? You just flushed 70bb in the toilet for no reason at all...''

It woke me up, at least I hoped so!

I leave it now for as it is, tonight is the question whether I will be playing due the new patch of Elephant I am forced to use.... If I cannot play, I guess it will be Team Fortress 2 all the way ♦

Believing in yourself or believing in the machine whether its SnG,BSS,SH,SSS is essential for your plays. Having faith will keep your motivation alive. If you are doubting whether continueing SSS for instance or switch to something else, then I suggest you switch immediately as doubting between 2 strategies cannot give you the optimal insight into a strategy while playing.

I suggest then to stop doing any kind of poker playing and take some time off your PC tinkering about what to do in the future short- but also long-term!

I had a feeling yesterday after the 1st session that there was something that hold me off playing another session. As instead I played Team Fortress 2 with buddies to improve my Spy Game. That was very interesting but it has no value for you guys

I got a lot of grabbed hands ready to be reviewed by me first and then if I got doubts I will post them on the Sample Hand forum.

Last night I expected to gain twice as much PartyPoints, play twice as much to become Platinum/Diamond and get ready for the Diamond challenge in December. As instead, I only played twice as less I expected, prepared and played =(

While playing I got an overall positive feeling that I manage to overcome some mistakes I made the day before the session But as some 4bb raises were being snapcalled and I hit nothing on the flop but a curve ball, well then it is obvious I just fold and save my remaining BBs. I lost 2 flips in the end which ended the day in the Red numbers

I still have to learn a lot besides those 2 hands Being a regular on NL100 has its pros and cons but I think it will be good for me to stabilize after the overrun effect on Nl50 (5k hands = new limit = wtf?)

Requiring studying, I stumbled upon a section where Paul Wasicka talks about Shortstackers on SH Tables but I think its interesting to see how he defines them and how he plays against them Also I take some German nutzliche articles to learn from where I have difficulties with.

PokerStrategy Elephant 0.64 is working fine and I am happy that I do not have to re-import all Hands I have in both databases...! I only had to re-import hands to check whether they were duplicates or not through a mining service.

Ah well, they played really well even though I was at the most loose table I could find through Spade, I didnt played my A-game.. Guess I will implicate some new Strategies into my game as I did in Team Fortress 2
