Some short update from me;
After the great vacation I had meeting my old friends in Denmark & ofcourse other PS members over here, it is time to swing the PLO tables.
I absolutely agree ( I am a naive PLO player atm ) that you cannot report how it went. stupidest question ever if you look at it from any perspective. I for once like to watch it from a math perspective.
Take a 4bb/100 winrate with 150k hand sample:
Std. Dev 60-70 (FR BSS/MSS/SSS)

But still I like the game more, it is more systematic which I only have to decipher in my own way.
iPoker software though is pretty slow and I can easily get 2x as much volume on another site so I am contemplating mixing sites to get more volume
In 2012 I want to be more focused, more intense, start having regular Spanish conversations.

It took us 45-60 min. to get there from the City Centre by the lightrail tram. It took me like 45 min. back by Taxi yesterdaynight. The lad who drove me was very friendly (he was a Man.U fan tho 
) and basically I got myself 33% discount on the Taxi price
But ye the event itself was interesting. We started out with 70 players and the other 75 late-regged. The late reggers were pretty splashy with their chips which was pretty good ♦
The tourney started 5max and I had seat 5 meaning every new splashy new player would be on my left which kinda sucked :/
Level 1 was 400bb starting stacks so I quickly played loads of hands. I made 1 3bet bluff in a 3bet pot where I 3bet UTG player with AQ, I heard him whistling which was the read especially when he check raised on a K:d 7:s 5:s board
I made the isildur 3bet and he quickly jammed so I lost 30% of the stack moderately quickly
After that I laid a bit low , setmining and acquiring information on how my opponents would play
That said I slowly bled chips from 20k to 11-10k. At some point I had <15bb and everyone played relatively scared passive so shoving was a fairly good idea.
I got dealt K:d K:h UTG+1 so I decided to 2.5x it. Surprisingly I got 2 calls (CO & BB) and the flop is 9:h 5:h 2:s, BB checks, I cBet with a SPR of 3 and CO raises.
Obviously I got it in and he showed 7:h 3:h and Turn/River blanks out 
By this time the antes started to kick in which increased steal potential, the only thing was that there was a guy on my right who started to get some real hands hence taking away my stealing opportunities 
So I bled chips again. There was an old gambling man who really played his hand face up preflop. a 3bet is Top2%, a limp is bottom 50% of his range etc.etc.
So I had like 14-15bb again with Ante's. Old gambling man limps, I look at one card... A:d! and I ship it.
Guy on my left immediately shipped over the top which was like ''hmmmkay let's do this''
Old gambling man was still whining about if the other guy didn't ship, he would call.
Guy showed A:h K:s and I show the A:d first and................ 5:h FUU 
The pretty dealer (some yumyum eye candies) dealt the flop J:c 5:c 2:d Turn & River blanked out so I doubled again like a pro
Old gambling guy was even more mad due the fact he could knock me out
Anyway I acquired more chips by raising to 2.5x while the pot was like 4bb-5bb due all these ante's (like 600/300 , 100 methinks lol )
Also the guy on my right tried to steal but I 3bet him twice with blockers (K7o & QJ) In position. It is damn hard to stare at one spot the whole time while breathing in with your nose, breathing out with your mouth
So I accumulated a bit more chips. Before the ''big'' break of 20 mins. I had Q:s7:s UTG and the director announced that all 25 chips were exchanged for 100s..
I don't know what I thought but I raised it up with a fairly bad image. I got a call from a Fit/Fold Arabian player and Fit/Fold Old Gambling Guy.
Flop is like J:d 4:h 5:s. Gambling guy checks, I cBet with a SPR of 4 putting max pressure on the Turn whenever any of them peels
Both players fold and I could enjoy my sandwhiches
Unfortunately after the break, the table broke and we all got transferred among other tables. My new table was interesting, especially because my chip leverage was less strong due the fact that they just had more chips than me -.-
I had Seat 4 so based on how they looked like I made my assessment:
Seat 1: Irish Tagfish
Seat 2: Old Nit Man
Seat 3: Grumpy Old Nit Man
Seat 4: Gervinho
Seat 5: The Shortstack Irish guy
Seat 6: Old Nit Man
Seat 7: Irish Tagfish
Seat 8: none
Seat 9: Scared Tagfish, at least he looked scared
I pulled out the same stealing strategy but to no avail 
I had to make a tough laydown with AQo for 14bb as I opened and the new Seat 8 jumped up to look at my stack and shoved accordingly.
I think in hindsight I should have called but back then I was thinking ''hmm he stands up, asks for count etc. must be relatively strong'' rather than ''ah let's knock out someone for a coinflip''
After that I could not seize any openshoving opportunities simply because any other player on my table raised before me. The only hand I got dealt was 22 OTB while MP opens, I think I made a mistake here by shoving while knowning I had no FEQ
He calls with AJo, Flop AAx and blank/blank gg
All-in-all I learned a lot about this. Firstly that my 2012 Live MTT aspirations are not worth the hourly if I play these relatively low buyins opposed to grinding online.
Secondly is that playing a long time reduces my attention span regardless what I do. Taking breaks, standing up, eating well, drinking enough - I learned this as well from my Magic the Gathering career where I mostly made crucial errors with Control Decks at the end of every tourney where the winner of the last match mostly get some prizes or... a ticket to New york
