By the way:

I will probably be attending these Diamond events. London, Amsterdam, Vienna & probably 1 of the other three for sure. For the other two, probably can bring another player in as well which maybe can compensate me visiting you, talking about poker.

Barcelona especially because I have my ''Learning Spanish'' project coming up soon because I don't speak enough languages solid at the moment. Ja Junge Deutsch is coming up after this !

Who's in?

The only compulsory period where I eat is right after I wake up then I eat whenever I am hungry. Quite hard when you have school and only 1 lunch hour but outside that it's fine (weekends as well)

The result was that I went from 33-33 W/L pants to 30-30 W/L ;)

Maybe because you eat junk ? if I eat corn for example (junk as well) in my stir fries, I always have to go to the toilet. If I exclude that, there is nothing wrong given all other ingredients ar ethe same

I still prefer smaller meals to have a consistent source of new energy intake. Also your body is processing the 2 big meals more heavily = more energy consumption = siesta//sleepy stuff

Why would you put corn into a stir fry ...? Nevertheless, yes, corn is addictive and it doesn`t make you full at all and it`s really bad

I don`t mind eating 2 meals a day esp. if the breakfast is a smoothie and I don`t feel sleepy (as I used to) + I can`t even eat a huge meal now cause I would be full already
EDIT: + I would feel stupid makign hamneggs out of 2 eggs oonly ....

Because we, Asians in Europe do and I sometimes buy frozen veggies with corn in it X(

But normally it is red onion , mushroom, courgette, peppers, thin sliced carrots, some garlic, cabbage, leek sometimes beansprouts, mangetouts, olives

FUCK tilt FUCK ALKJL ARGH :baby: :(

No not because of PLO. I am on lifetilt because I forgot to buy a 10 week Saturday Language course at a college here via Groupon and I was 2 fucking minutes late :(

I saw an opportunity and I didn't took it. That's what tilted me damn

This weekend was Ok productive. nothing too fancy qua grinding. Au contraire; quite dissapointing qua volume especially on today.

The sole reason was that I started out late as I went to bed at 4 and woke up at 12:10. Made some bacon flips and then had my first interesting hand review with Marek from Munich about some PLO hands.

I actually scheduled to play a small session before Swansea beat the crap out of Arsenal defense but figured the discussion was far more interesting so we did a couple

Then I had to study Microsoft Access for an exam in Tuesday (sigh first year suck, it's like playing a starting hands chart while you already know more than the teacher)

Anyway I was not able to study PLO today which is dissapointing, I did not fulfilled the amount of hands I wanted to play either.

Even funnier I played the wrong format and I recorded it lol. I started a Hi/Lo table instead of a Hi table and I only realized it when the pot was split up while I had ubernuts :] embarassing but luckily I laughed about it so I could reverse the energy into something good

The session itself was nothing special except the ridiculous calling ranges in 3bet/4bet pots as that is my main focus this week. I saw 1 reg going dishonest wakawaka lol style and in hindsight I could have bet/folded so easily there

On the other table I set over set someone for 200bb on AQ9 with QQ vs 99 which was fun but nothing special noteworthy. Std. Dev was 120-130bb so relatively high

Tomorrow I will skip 3 classes out of 4 to catch up with PLO grind, study & RL study

Oh and I made Chicken Wings on Food Saturday. I normally called it food Friday but saturday is abit of a better day methinks dunno but I got the recipe from Chef John:

Preperation of the Chicken Wing:

*One should use 30 min. one side and 20 min. the other side at 200celsius methinks

Panda Wing sauce:

I prefer the ginger sauce in the first vid tho :)

Bon appetit!

Fucking hell, my alarm clock was 2 hours early and it was not the sound of my wake up songs It was the freaking fire alarm. The sound pretty much works because I instantly was awake kung-fu style

I looked outside my window & tried to hear the corridor noises. At the same time I was sniffing if I smell any fire. My instinct told me there wasn't so I could sleep for another 1 1/2 hour :megusta: dreaming about me being a wizard with.. you know who :megusta:

Anyways I only had 1 hour of class because I wanted to and it is the only class that was interesting to attend. Same time I had to learn for an exam tomorrow of Microsoft access lol

I studied some relatively old vids of PLO but the reason I studied them was that they had multiple voices in the videos which gave me ideas. Unfortunately my notebook didn't got much writing from my pen but still interesting.

In my 2nd session, I had to adjust or nit up against one particular villain. I had this ''making it too personal' syndrome but the breathing excercises helped me to calm down. still I was not playing my A-game, I was more playing Variance which made me stop playing and write in my blog instead.

Tomorrow will be tough to put in 2 sessions but I demand myself to have put in 1 session as the other one is traded in for some pints :)

I do want to end with an awesome tune. if one of my hobbies was going to turntable mode and play in nightclubs as a DJ , this would be my floorfiller along with Paso from Sak Noel:

I'm also sick of my earplugs, they tend to isolate a bit but no more than 20% for sure

It is annoying to have it in max volume in the airplanes, walking around Dublin. It also hurts my ears long-term so I figured an instant +EV investment would do the trick. I think I could go immediately baller style and buy a 200euro sennheiser one or Bose but I figure I give these a chance for just 57euro

http://www.pocket-lint.com/review/5322/philips-shn5600-noise-cancelling-headphones-review

I put it up when grinding because I mostly DO NOT listen to music so I hear some TV of my neighbour, I can listen to my dubstep in a busy street, I don't have to go on tilt when a baby is crying in the airplane so I can focus on my Counter Strike game on my laptop in the plane :)

The last 48hours were just absolutely sick & mental.

First I don't know how I did it but I am so disappointed that I played 0 hands, it was just plain stupid with me dicking around some sites. It definitely has to stop right now

So since I have not been playing PLO lately well I have been doing some Real life stuff. :) Parties, Police & an interesting finance seminar

First me and my friends were having some predrinks at the other side of Dublin. Maybe even outside town. I already know the Luas line rides towards outside Dublin as well. the WPT venue and soon UKIPT is like 1 hour away from Dublin City Centre, it is sick

Now I had to go to another direction, also 45-1hour by tram. I bought the usual tuborg and also brought a brut bottle with me. Turned out that was my kryptonite

I met some new people, 1 swedish/irish girl who was pretty interesting to talk with. Obvious her looks are breath-taking but if you are fancy'in something more mid-long term then it would be handy if you can spend some quality time together :P

Anyway we managed to play the Dutch version of Kings. We made the cards ourself of A4 paper epic shit

Everyone was soo bad at playing, like we had 1 rule that you have to say ''I <3 Gerv'' before you say anything. It was madness :f_biggrin:

Anyway we drank drank drank and it was time to go to the clubs in the Centre. Our first choice was not possible because one of the girls was 19 and it was 20+ :]

Luckily nearby there was an Erasmus party going on so we decided to join that. 8euro entrance but 2eu pints, 10euro 3x jagerbombs

The most insane thing in the end was that someone stole my passport, jacket & camera. He dropped the passport on the ground and while I was pretty drunk, the bouncer gave it back to me as he recognized my long hair:

Anyhow I went mental about basically nothing. Yea I had to walk home without a jacket which sucks but I was being mad about losing some $$ if you give the jacket & old camera a $ value.

Since I had a finance seminar this evening, I wasn't able to go to the right police station but yeah with +EV Insurance, I should get it back :)

So talking about the finance seminar. It was an open seminar hosted by a group of professional traders working together with my business school to offer a 1 year diploma programme into finance trading. He started with ''obvious you cant make from 10k , 100k in an instant'' etc.

Everything looked very like Poker and I only forgot to ask him if trading is like PLO or NLHE

Anyways I think I was the youngest guy in there + he perceived me to be American when I had the chance to ask some questions. He also told me we could sweat him while he was trading in 12 instances throughout the year. Additionally there was also an advanced internship where you get live coached while you trade for 2 weeks from 9 till 4:30

Since it is basically something that I might like doing, I instantly signed up for this programme so I am studying 2 courses this year. Actually 3 because I see PLO as a study course as well :)

Means that my Spanish classes get downgraded in the priority list but I still would like to speak that language asap

Since I know nothing about this trading, I'm up for the challenge and the money spent on tuition should fuel my motivation even more

I woke up with a hangover but I go to bed with a smile :)

Being a technical player.. Again!

I finally secured to meet up with the police to do all these bureaucratic stuff in order to get some money back from the Insurance. I still think insurance is a massive scam (but I would run an insurance company as well honestly) especially when you are careful with your possessions.

Anyway I went to bad way too late in order to be fully ready for class. That way I didn't go to class Simple.

Instead I had the good old bacon/egg breakfast and finished a Pokervideo I wasn't able to finish yesterday.

Then I started to technically analyze (that means math & equilab) certain simulations regarding 4bet & 3bets.

This is so good for your game, I would recommend it to anyone regardless what you play. Sit down and do the math. The next time you are in doubt whether this is +EV or -EV, you know the exact profit per hand longterm you gonna make. eg. 3bet/call with T874ds yields a profit if opponent only 4bets AA**. Profit is +9.4bb per hand long term. Also you fix some leaks & assumptions you previously had wrong.

I feel being a technical player in a more technical game like PLO gives you a big edge of players who ''feel'' the thing or whatever it is called. If you know exactly where the break-even point is in certain simulations, if you know what your EV(call), EV(fold), EV(x,y,z) is at a certain point and leave your opponent oblivious and flabbergasted, you get a nice return from the amount of #hours you study.

all-in-all that was a very productive study session in the afternoon. I also watched a new PLO vid of a new instructor, his playingstyle & philosophy differs from another PLO instructor simply because there are different ways to PLO success. I mostly prefer a more smallball approach where 3bet/5bet Q:d9:d Q:h:T:h is totally unnecessary versus a reg :)

What else did I do today? hm Marek sweated with me and we some interesting talk though he was tired and I could feel it. no offense ofcourse but I still think sweating is pretty bad. Though I had a goal to meet so there was more or less no other option :/

I also played 5 hours approx while the afternoon session was mixing in 20PLO/50PLO and because of that I played like up to 12 tables. It went smooth because the software isn't that fast anyway lol

So I played pretty much to catch up for the days I did not played to get this gemstone which is pretty good value I calculated

I am mostly likely forgetting something else but yeah even though PLO is a swingy game and graphs are pretty much useless below the 50k hand range, I still keep learning this new game :P I only play it since November basically

Oh and SHM has 2 video clips of Antidote. I definitely like the gored version more ofcourse :P

Judge 4 yourself & enjoy the music
