Hey There thanks ! Although I lost it a bit this 96 hours for sure, I feel like a crybaby but I think that has to do with 1) Lack of Sleep (parties/friends), 2) Fact that I see its as a ''burden'' instaed of a Hobby & 3) Ridonkulous players despite the fact that iPoker is tightening up
Oh well I have to shrug it all off me since I even cannot remember that I wrote certain things
like:
"Believing in yourself or believing in the machine whether its SnG,BSS,SH,SSS is essential for your plays. Having faith will keep your motivation alive. If you are doubting whether continueing SSS for instance or switch to something else, then I suggest you switch immediately as doubting between 2 strategies cannot give you the optimal insight into a strategy while playing."
"I suggest then to stop doing any kind of poker playing and take some time off your PC tinkering about what to do in the future short- but also long-term!"
Thanks for the Wake Up Call imo - I was doing things wrong and that resulted in a break-even -> Losing -> Making mistakes in EV...
So making no mistakes is the only thing you can do because people do hit their Ace with A4o against your KK 30% of the times based on 5 cards.
For now: Go Go FUllTilt Ranger
Yeeeeeeehaw!
Oh and I found an awesome deck on Magic that I will be playing primarily online. Funny thing is that it reminds me of Poker every single Time ♦
The card/combo is based on the card Sanity Grinding and it is a fun deck who has potential. I always love Combo Decks even with simple card games with the standard 52-carddeck + Joker, I invent Combo's ♠_biggrin:
I feel like this before any RedBull Cans:

But after a {few} can{s} I feel like:

YaaarGame On!
Hey Gerv,
Although there may be ridiculous suckouts - just remember you play good! Have faith gerv!!! dont see it as a burden... Enjoy it!!! Why do you think i play NL SH on a limit that is practically a donkament? Because its funnnnnnnnnnnn!
Just keep on grinding (if you feel like it
) because you know in the end, it will all come good!! Have Confidence!
Right did i do a good speech?

[x] WHY....?
WHY DID I PLAY 400NL 1 TABLE!? Geez, Gerv, stop playing 200NL/400NL iPoker with a bankroll of merely 10 Buyins on 400NL and stuff >.<
Moreover, I raked $4.5 on the single table of 400NL and I lost too much in terms of blinds *blegh*. The reason I chose to play it was due the lack of good tables on the 200nl-50nl limit... well maybe I have to play on stars in the early afternoon?
7 Buyins down on 50NL is too much imo so I am doing a Statistic Review + Session Review this afternoon on both iPoker & FullTilt. Just some good old' improve the strategy arsenal!
Split-seconds decisions, Flips, Domination - it all happened
I for sure lost 3 BI due mistakes so that needs to be fixed! Even though I played mixed limits, I still have to pay attention to NL50 tables as well even though I stack them at the top of my screen next to each other...
Not bad imo because I still have the handicap of not taking it too seriously thus I made financial mistakes during the game. Maybe the solution is to drink 1 extra cup of coffee?
who knows!
Until I got my Serious Mindset activated again on iPoker, I will allow myself to play 200NL tables as well as I can financial reach it now if I use the Cash in VIP points option..
So iPoker was okay, I just need to work on my attention level on 50NL + don't tilt the shit out of a bad beat
because on FTP they happen as well...
Speaking of FullTilt; the tables were nice and fishy! Even though I was like losing BBs, I enjoyed the session since I could play My game instead of adapting to their game. This means calling the SqueezeSquad, Isolating etc.etc.
Once again, my patience and discipline not to tilt against a loss because FishReg was spewing against me (which I knew).
I didn't gave like a timeline how things went so maybe I will do it now:
Session started at 23:37 CET getting AA one 1 of the 8 á 9 tables I were playing. I could play up till 12 with all Avg. VPIP 20+, nice!
FishLAG openraises 3bb and I reraise to 8bb, he snapshoves and I scriptCall it. he shows AK -> QQ4-9-8, well played!
2 minutes later 77 on the BB. SSplayer opens 3bb BTN with 42% ATS BTN (45 Trials though). Fish SB ccalls on the SB and I activate my SqueezingSquad!
BTN folds obviously but SB calls with A:h 4:c so I was like ''meh okay 70/30''
Flop A:d 4:d 3:s -> 2:d -> Q:s - Good game, we had a nice chat afterwards so this wasn't really worrying me. SB obviously was a Yank
Hands later I got dealt Q:h T:d on BB, mp1 fish minraises and I elected to just call, I was like wtf im I doing here? 9:d 7:h 6:d, Gerv was going nowhere wheN Villain cbetted 1/2 Pot. Turn goes check/check on 4:h , River completed a flush by 3:d and I lead 5bb into 8.5bb pot, he folded so I think I had a read/instinct on this guy. Pretty good for a guy like me who is a little bit autistic!
Getting Kings dealt 54 seconds later on the Small Blind is good. What is more awesome is that TAG 12/10 player openraises Pot utg2 and Regular 2+2'er ccalls on the Button with AQ-TT like hand. We had history together but unfortunately both mucked their hands against my Squeeze, still I shipped 7.5bb
Minutes being carddead, I got dealt 8:s 8:c on the BTN and I knew BB was loose in restealing. He already shoved A3o against me as a resteal and a 3bet% of 16 only confirms his loose range. I openraise, he shoved obviously as expected and I snapcall. He shows K:h Q:d so well ye kinda better than expected ={
Flop J:d 6:d 4:d >.< -> Turn A:h -> River 5:d -> Flip lost, Flop lost, still being focused
Maybe Im bragging now but I think I have to trust more on my intuitions, as I sometimes have a cold feeling ''naw don't cbet on this board, getting c/R guaranteed'' or ''He has me beat!'' well Im pretty sure I can be proud of myself:
saw flop | saw showdown
UTG ($61)
MP ($233.25)
CO ($233.45)
Button ($24)
SB ($165.60)
Gerv (BB) ($41.15)
Preflop: Gerv is BB with J
, K
UTG calls $2, MP calls $2, CO calls $2, 1 fold, SB calls $1, Gerv checks
Flop: ($10) 5
, J
, K
(5 players)
SB checks, Gerv checks, UTG bets $10, 1 fold, CO raises $30, 1 fold, Gerv folds, UTG calls $20
Turn: ($70) 10
(2 players)
UTG checks, CO bets $29, UTG calls $29 (All-In)
River: ($128) 2
(2 players, 1 all-in)
Total pot: $128
Main pot: $128 between UTG and CO, won by UTG
Results:
UTG had 10
, Q
(flush, King high).
CO had K
, J
(two pair, Kings and Jacks).
Outcome: UTG won $125
If CO coldcalled or folded, surely I would check/raised here but 0% FE against a 1.1 AF + 25% WTSD made me sick, I dont think he would raise Toppair nor a FD so only TwoPair+ had me. Normally I would just shoved here because TopTwo being SS is the Nutz!
So let's continue:
Aces << 99 preflop all-in confrontations, guy minraised and gets 2 callers, I trigger Squeeze-Mode for $33 and he used his timebank for it.
I 3betted Potsized against a LAG minraiser (46/24 60 hands) and he shoved, obviously +EV call against 3% range and he showed me A9o though. a T on the Turn sealed the deal for me!
Squeezing (yes again ♦ ) P9 for 17bb against a 4bb openraise + mp3 coldcaller. Unf. MP3 coldcaller showed AJo but I hit a nine on the Flop and basically it was all over there ♠_biggrin:
Then I went into ''PSV Hooligan'' mode chanting the Dutch sentence: ''Boeruhhhhhhhhh'' since I won the biggest pot in my life as ShortStack ( I won bigger as BSS NL200 against HItFish I think ) I actually I said Voeluhhh (means Feel it Bitch
) instead of Boerruhh (farmers ♦)
To get a feeling what I mean:
Hidden Brag: The tables was played on Phil Ivey
saw flop | saw showdown

Gerv (UTG+1) ($62.30)
MP1 ($254)
MP2 ($91.75)

Button ($124.20)
SB ($200)
Preflop: Gerv is UTG+1 with A

1 fold, Gerv bets $8, 1 fold, MP2 calls $8, 1 fold, Button calls $8, 2 folds
Flop: ($27) Q
, 3
, 3
(3 players)
Gerv bets $20, MP2 calls $20, Button calls $20
Turn: ($87) A
(3 players)
Gerv checks, MP2 bets $63.75 (All-In), Button calls $63.75, Gerv calls $34.30 (All-In)
River: ($248.80) 4
(3 players, 2 all-in)
Total pot: $248.80
Main pot: $189.90 between Gerv, MP2 and Button, won by Gerv
Side pot 1: $58.90 between MP2 and Button, won by Button
Results:
Button had J
, J
(two pair, Jacks and threes).
Gerv had A
, A
(full house, Aces over threes).
MP2 had 4
, 2
(two pair, fours and threes).
Outcome: Button won $58.90, Gerv won $186.90
Obviously lol @ Mp2..
So despite the rising line in the end ( I won AQ >AT & KK > AK ) I was pretty satisfied about my plays
You will read tomorrow what Thursday brings, I cannot tell u now so I will wrap it up now.

Are you making use of the Sklansky-Chubkov ranges? I'm implementing them in my game right now..
Hey there, congratulations on your jackpot hand! I had my biggest SSS pot evah too 3 days ago, but it was only 138$.
I hope cards start going your way again, specially on NL50.

I abandoned that since other moves are +++EV than Sklansky. However I do it sometime if the conditions are optimal ánd right!

Hello Anssi,
My MTGO nick is just 'Gerv' but as I am testing decks atm only at MWS , I am not active yet on MTGO. Probably after 10th edition rotates out, I might take a shot , building a T2 deck.
