H#1 = you are a bit deep and he looks like a loose station - pushing would be pretty suicidal there vs a seeming station with only 4 outs to the nuts ...

So it's either a call or a fold ... Calling shouldn't be too bad, coz he'll most likely be paying you off, though you have to be cautious when hitting top pair on the river coz they're obv not clean outs and when a loose passive station bets, you're usually f@#!ed

H#2 = easy vbet, so many lower pockets that'll pay you off and will just check behind on the river thus losing you value ...

And there really shouldn't be any Kx hands in his calling range on this kind of board (unless he's the most random station, which he doesn't seem to be according to stats).

EDIT: Missed that there was a FD on the flop, so obv now there are some combos of Kx of that calls you down with FD+overs ...

Vs more aggro opps you could go for a c/c bluffcatch coz of the busted FD and overcard hitting.

But since this one looks to be a passive one, I'd still vbet the river (he has a pretty high WTSD as well, so you're way ahead of his overall calling range)

Hello boys and girls yup... I don't know from what I should start so it will be kind a desultory thoughts mix..

soooo...

I started this month with full power, full discipline, good play. Then some RL bussines disbalanced me poker-wise. Then I was back on track - and then again down in a pit - and now I back again. Actually this rollercoster was good experience for me. I can look back and analyze the things that I struggle with.

Also I was experementing with strategy pretty often... Actually all the time ♦ There was moment when I turned ON LAG and spewy play: 3bet alot, raise alot, steal alot, blablabla and I think now I realized some really important concepts/things about the game overall.

The NL2,NL5,NL10 was only plot searching. Since I found good plot - Now at NL25 I'm building the strong bases and planning how my house should look like. It's fun.

Okey, it's enough rambling. Let's talk about goals.

January plans:

X 60 Hours of play. Played 57h overall.(I think I studied and analyzed game 1:1 ratio compared to play.) Looking forward to increase this amount at least to 70h
X End up reading "Ace on the river"
X Watch 20+ videos. 14 videos overall.
√ Improve. Yep. Improve. A lot. I can be happy about this aspect. I have alot to think about.
X Gold star at Pokerstars. This is becouse I worked with poker only 20days this month. And there were days when I only spend ~1h to poker overall.

Hello Haven't posted here for a long time.. 9 days.. ♦

What happened during these days?

Well, talking about poker related stuff I mostly played, becouse my goal is to score 3k VPP's till Feb. 18. Unfortunately now I only have 1k..@NL25 FR it's a little bit hard to score these points ♦ Of course if playing deep tables it would be much easier, but from tomorrow I only be playing normal tables. Well I'm not a massive tabler - 6 to 8 tables is my standart. Despite these "disatvantages" I will do my best.

I also started using Table Ninja trial version and I have to say that it is reaaaally very comfortable tool! LIKE IT I think a massive multitabler can't live without it since it has been released ♦

So future plans is to play play play + session reviews and add some videos to sharpen my axe Looking forward to beat NL25 till Feb. ~20. Or maybe move up next week if I need faster VPP's collection.

One more note - I definitely won't watch 15 videos this month becouse I feel good now and nowadays I prefer reading some good articles which really are helpful.
The main thing is to improve not to watch xx videos right?

i don't really use AF that much so don't really have an idea on what numbers are passive - aggressive.

is 2.5 below still considered passive?

under 2 is on the passive side / between 2-3 is the normal range of standard regulars and anything above 3 is aggro

1. I would probably just call the minraise and go from the turn. Villains line looks strong here (minraise, then call 3bet ip... no so drawy flop)

2. that's a big fold, you got to be pretty sure that villain only cold calls with pocket pairs and playes them aggresively to fold this. He is 24/7, that means he calls more than just pocker pairs. I would not fold here, I would call and smile ♦ he could have a monsterdraw, draw with which he could play the same.

@ HAND2: well, if we put him on : 66,TT,78dd,89dd,97dd,AKdd,AQdd,AJdd,KQdd,QJdd,KJdd we have 50% equity. But I don't think that he pushes here with only FD. if we put him on 66,TT,78dd,79dd,89dd we have 28% equity. to be break-even we need ~32% equity. You see, it's close

@HAND1: in this hand alot depends on game flow and that moment image... To show profit I need ~35% folds here. I put him mostly on str8 draws or.. JJ maybe. I'm UTG and my line looks super strong. He is super aggressive so he maybe tried to push my overcards off the hand cheaply.

preflop maybe looks strange, but i like call here. IO + position + skill > fish.
flop is no brainer call, I don't like raise becouse there are no FE.
now, turn. since he bets 6/8 I think he is strong here. But I have many outs and good IO. any , 7 is a clean outs for me. + K or 9 is often turn my hand into winning. or even my K pair beats his QQ/JJ/ fishy hand here.
river didn't help me. QQ improves. he 3rd barrels = strong. so we fold.

Some updates here.

First, I moved to Cake poker. Well, it's a little strange when players pool is very small, but interesting.
Second, I transitioned to SH here.Now I feel that @SH I can use my maximum potential.

Maybe there are some Cake regs? ♦

Also I started to mix in some NL50 tables becouse there are not many NL20 ♦

Long story make short: I will occupy Cake world. I'll really do that ♦

Let's get started:

I playing at Cake now, mixing NL20 NL50 NL100 games Well, it's not a secret that I'm under rolled for NL100, but meh... I feel biiig motivation within me while playing this limit and I just put all my concentration on my game. It's fantastic. I didn't mass table: max 2tables of NL100 other 2 NL50 mostly. I table select alot, don't play when my position at the table sucks or there are only regs fighting.
Variance.. I respect it and I understand both accept it. I'm controlling my mind basicaly all the time.. When not tired of course. When I'm AWARE I do really great job.
I reaaaaallllllllly reaaaaaaaaaalyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy want to beat competition and be top player. I WANT IT SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH.!! I will put ton of effort to make my green line go up to the sky. I promise to everyone who are reading this sentence. READ IT: MY GREEN LINE IS HEADING ONLY !UP! TO THE SKY. Period.

Next, my biggest psichological struggle is that I'm not mass tabler and my volume isn't that big compared to others. When I look to someone's monthly graph and see ~60k hands played... 75k.. or whatever the count is. I feel so... confused? cos my avg monthly hands are ~15k/month. I'm aiming to make it 20k/month. Now when I play SH hands going a bit faster, but meh, I play 4 tables. At FR I used to play 6-10 tables..
This is the only aspect of psychology that I'm "fighting??" with. If someone have advices or knows some articles about "time in poker" or whatever I would be really happy if you share it with me Thanks!
And the fact is that I'm going break-even for... 20k hands? It's more than month for me... to the mass tabler it's ~1/3 month..
