Awww so cute :f_love: Thank You vonki for glamorising my blog with these poppets :f_grin: :f_love: Made my day :f_grin:

The lognest post in my little blog.

Soo.. I have many thoughts streaming in my mind but I'll try to compose them.

First I would like to talk about 2011 years start poker wise.

Discipline.

Actually my plans was to found the best whole day discipline that would work best for me and start do it from monday. This includes solid volume( ~4hrs play each day) good resting schedule, sporting schedule, learning schedule, eating and etc. also with some days-off from poker. First impression about it is good and I like my performance but also there will be some changes going on further but I will try to balance everything :)
I think that discipline as a thing is vital for successful poker player. Becouse all these things like being prepared for the game, well rested, well eated(actually ate but eated sound better 4 me :O ), being in good mood, good mindset bla bla bla... gives you an "invisible edge" over many many other players. I think it is part of the successful game.

Mindset.

Today I'm sooo proud of me becouse I realised one veeeery important thing. Read on: In December 2010 I think I had pretty solid and strong mindset. All my mindset strongness was built from pretty sick 30BI's at NL10 loosing stretch that I had in September-October months. Back in that days I was playing 6max and I'm even today not sure if it was only bad play or variance but I know this that I'm not really that good in 6max as I thought I should be :f_frown: Yes I ran under EV but not that much. Well, this is history.. The main and the most important thing is that I grown alot during that days. Both my game conception, mindset developed to the next level and now I think that those hard days really helped me to understand and feel all things that "The Poker Mindset" book is written about. I just can't express that "I'm strong and I know what I'm doing" feeling in words. Many of you should understand what I mean. But to make long story short after 5 days of illness and not playing I've lost my balance. Just lost that feelling somewhere and my mindset collapsed. I noticed that something is strange during these days while playing but just couldn't realise what is wrong. So few hours ago I decided to open "The Poker Mindset" book and figure it out.. bingo! I found a leak in my mind. That strange and bad feeling while playing was not enough focusing on my decisions. All my fkin power and energy should be directed to make the best decision based on information and image I have. Now I feel much stronger and confident when I overcome it. :) :f_grin:

Who doesn't kill me makes me stronger. Oh yep.

Poker & Life.

Hmm.. Poker is really important thing to me. I take it seriously and I'm determined to make it big. I believe in me and I know that I can be better than many others. But also I know that I'll have to put a lot of work on it. For now I'm only NL25 player who seeks to improve and climb up as fast as possible. Hmm.. Really a lot of my energy goes to poker. But I love Poker :f_love: and I love to work on it. :) So I LIKE it. :f_pleased:

Some goals added:

January:

:diamond: Gold star at Pokerstars.

Mid-term goal:

:diamond: Be NL50 player till February 28.

Sooo I hope this post isn't that long and it will be interesting to read at least for someone :)

btw nice song:

Today I'm taking day-off from poker. Just feeling that I need relax a bit and do other RL stuff. Maybe in the evening I will watch some videos or will do my game analyse to find some leaks cos atm I'm feeling very strong with my play but it can't really be that I don't have any leaks so I want to found them or just sharpen up my overall game a bit. Maybe I will do easy Ace on the river reading in the second part of the day... so today will be easy relax day :f_grin: never a bad idea to do so :)

Okay.,. hmm. I think it's all I have to say. Good luck and have fun! ;) ohhh and I will leave you with a great song, cya. :)

Hello there!

So on monday I only played one morning 90min session becouse lately I had some projects to do.
On tuesday I watched one video and thought about strategy a bit before bed. easy preparation before morning session. also during the day had some projects to do so couldn't enjoy poker much.

At hand 2, you don't have the option to call on the flop. It's either fold or 3bet. If you were in position, that would have been a totally different story. If you call, a better hand will always bet again on the turn, a bluff can also barrel good cards, also if villain raised as a semi-bluff he can take a freecard. So you hate to see a or an A,K. All this makes it a -ev call.

+1. on this kind of board you have to 3bet or fold, there's far too many cards you hate on the turn and river to flat OOP. turn and river as played look fine

in the first hand, i would leading for value, if you get raised you can get it in profitably i think. i think ch/r multiway like this looks way too much like a set to get value from worse most of the time, and if it gets checked around, again you'll see too many non-flush overcards and blanks that make it unprofitable to bet or call almost anything.

Thank you for response gentlemans ;)

Yup I agree that hand 1 call isn't good option. at that moment i felt that he could 2nd barrel MAAANY hands: 77-JJ, bluffs, semi bluffs and with everything that he raises me on flop with. My plan was to ch/raise him on many turns. But now I doubt that he could 2nd barrel with 77-JJ(maybe JJ could barrel, TT rarely, also many action killer for him could hit) so call here is not good. btw he had 33 I felt that he's full of shit but I agree that reraise right on flop should be better. it's very hard to handle sitoation OOP if  hits on turn or 5 or whatever bad card for me.

hand 2 : ye wasy I agree with you. I don't like ch here too :)

Hello everyone!

Sooo.. Today I recognized the state in which you only play, watch video, analyse, play, watch video, analyse, play, watch video,analyse...blablabla...At first it worked fine and I've improved quite well, but nowadays I felt that my game stagnated and I stopped improving/ or my improvement rate decreased a lot. I just get used to that and I reached the state where some changes is essential for me. I need new lines and new ideas for my play. Becouse if your play doesn't go uphill it goes downhill. "My axe is not that sharp as it used to be." It's crucial thing to always keep in mind that still there is a place where you can get better/improve something. Learning from a various articles/videos is a must. And I mean really VARIOUS. Vary your learning methods/or the sources/poker sites that you learn from. Becouse it's very beneficial to get as many new ideas as possible from many coaches/poker players. And different learning sources/methods = way more creative game.
Also from now I will note some interesting play lines in case I could read them before playing and think about them while playing till I'll learn them properly. And again.. When I'll learn them I still will "sharpen my axe in case not to get blunt." And one more thing I think is very useful is to mix in sessions where you're not trying to get big volume by multitabling but you're paying attention to some other things that you may miss while 9+tabling.Maybe it's booring to not get a lot action but I think it's worth to think more deeply in your game. Overall I'm happy about myself becouse I've taken a step forward. Now I'm wiser a bit, more experienced, stronger. Hehe.

Just wanted to share my thoughts. I'm out :)

Huh, I haven't been here for 10 days.. ;o I think it's becouse I had some RL things to do.. Poker wasn't on top of my priorities during these days. During last 10 days I've only played ~3k hands... :( But good thing is that I improved mentally, realized many real life truths.. etc. Soo, what I was doing during these last 10 daays?
first. I did some school stuff.. I was learning a little, preparing the for tests etc..
second. I attented a seminar about goals & success. I listened to really great speech. Liked it. :)
third. I was having a good time with friends: did some shopping and other fun stuff....
fourth. Watched some speechs that I've downloaded @ my computer. also great stuff. :)
fifth. Sports.
sixth. I guess poker is on sixth place Yup I played a little bit, not much, didn't win ton of money, but gained experience and realized one thing: You can't win at poker without experience. Yep you may say that you gain experience while playing and you can both win & gain experience while playing. But the "true" experience is when you pay for it. Yes, the experience when you loosing, the state when you feel that you are not winning now and by observing this state of yourself is very important experience. "Learn to lose and then you'll be ready to win" . Master you mind & emotions and you will be ready to win baby. Or in other words you'll be winning all the time becouse it doesn't matter what you will win: money, satisfaction, experience or other things that matter for you. What matters is that you'll be able to perceive everything as a win.

Every move you make is a step forward. Always.

And one more thing that I'm happy and grateful about is :

It fits me pretty well. One more month of sports and it will fit me perfectly.heeh I'm lovin everything what I DO.
:f_love: :f_love: :f_love:

That's it for now. today , thursday, friday, saturday, sunday seems to be grinding mode. @sunday wait for month summary. Have a nice day.

BYE :f_grin:
