Welcome to my blog.
My first blog in english, so please excuse any writing or grammer mistakes I might make.
I was inspired by the bankroll Challenge Thread so i decided to join in.

Bankroll Challenge:
100$ --> 1000$

Rules:
0$-50$ 0,50$ SnG‘s
50$-300$ up to 2,20$ Mtt`s and SnG’s
300$-450$ up to 3,30$
450$-600$ up to 4,40$
600$-850$ up to 5,50$
850$-1300$ up to 7,50$
1300$-… up to 11$
0$-150$ NL2
150$-500$ NL5
500$-2500$ NL10

(All just a rough plan for now)
Using Stars Coins for MTT tickets
Shots will hopefully be taken rarely:f_ugly:

Goals:
-Improving my game (never studied in the last 12 years or so of playing)
-Beating NL10 over at least 50k Hands
-Obviously building my BR up to at least 1000$ (maybe 10k$ in the future)

About me:
My name is Sebastian, 30 years old and from germany. I work in a small health center.
I am hoping to use this blog to keep myself accountable when it comes to my poker goals and rules and maybe also use it to keep track of my personal fitness, education and job goals.

I hope I can get to know some of you in the english speaking community and learn some tips and tricks along the way.
Don`t want my opening post to get to long so let`s go.:f_drink:

Good luck in your challenge! I thought I am the most conservative when it comes to Bankroll management - but playing up to 2k$ only NL10, that will mean a long grind!
Enjoy the challenge & your badge now!

Thank you for joining my journey. I have set my rules fairly quickly and with my own history in mind. I have never done well in cash games and made basically all of my winning in mtt's in the past. And I always used to get crazy tilted in cg and loose way too much.
I am going to adapt the rules as i go along.
So far i have played 3 sessions and will post an update tomorrow (my time) here and in the challenge thread.
Have a great weekend.

The cash game session got longer then the other once because i had 2 absolute crazy players at my table. Openshoving 500bb with second pair and so on.
Sadly i got to them in the wrong spots as you can see in the hand.
I think one of them left with 1300bb and the other with over 500bb in the end before i got some of my money back.

Player3 (UTG): $18.90 (945 bb)
Player4 (MP): $5.15 (258 bb)

Flop: ($0.33) 2 3 K (3 players)
Player3 (UTG) checks, Player4 (MP) bets $5.05 (all-in), Hero (CO) calls $3.57 (all-in), Player3 (UTG) folds

Turn: ($7.47) K (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: ($7.47) 7 (2 players, 2 all-in)

Total pot: $7.47 (Rake: $0.26)

Showdown:
Player4 (MP) K♥:2♣:
Hero (CO) mucks A A (two pair, Aces and Kings)
Player4 (MP) wins $7.21

Session 4

Spoiler

Session 4: BR: 150,17$ +2$ MTT)
Opened 4 Chests (+2$ MTT)
MTT`s:
Count: 37
BI: 56,10$
Avr. BI: 1,52$
Winnings: +9,48$

Made another small FT in a 1,10$ Hyper for 24$

CG:
NL2
Hands: 311
Winnings: +1,95$

BR: 161,60$ (+9,43$)

Typing up a post takes me way to long.
I am still using my old HM2 and it tracks the CG`s correctly, but i had to count up the MTT`s by hand which gets really annoying.
Should i invest in Pokertracker?
Anyone have a simple Excel spreadsheet to use to keep track? I seem to have forgotten everything about Excel from my school years.
Another problem is the hand converter.
No matter which one i used it always hides/ mucks the winning hand from villain.

Summery:
MTT`s: +50,94$ (100 MTT's)
SnG`s: +4,28$ (4 SnG`s)
CG: NL2 +6,38 (1980 Hands)
BR: 161,60$

Gooood eveing. A little late with the update but life still keeps me busy.
I only got to play 2 sessions last week. On saturday and sunday i played MTT`s again.

Session 1 BR: 161,60$

MTT's
Count: 22
BI: 35,20$
Avr BI: 1,6$
Winnings: +88,16$
BR: 249,76$

Made another FT. Didn`t really feel to focused, so i made a deal final 3. I just lost a couple of bigger pots and agreed on the ICM deal.
Another good step into the right direction.

Session 2 BR: 249,76$ +1,50$ MTT$ and draw ticket from chests

MTT`s:
Count: 37
BI: 60,50$
Avr BI: 1,64$
Winnings: +8,88$
BR: 258,64$

Played a longer session then expected. Last MTT was the bigger 2,20$ and had to get up early for work. So it was extra frustrated to bust on the final 2 tables for 13BI or so.
Took my first shot and played one 3,30$ MTT which ended quickly with flush over flush.
As always fighting the urge to just post bad beats and have to get better at marking interesting and not just big pots.
Nothing special to report.
Will probably play a couple of sessions on the weekend again.
Have a good one!

About last week...

Life is still keeping me busy so i only have time on the weekends to play.
Last week i ran and played awful and lost all my profit in 3 sessions.
I wasn't motivated to update, but to keep up with the challenge i will post a big update for last and this week in the next couple of days.
For now i will only post this start and end for last week and will play one more session today for this week.
Luckily i had a very good finish yesterday.
Last week:
24.01.22-30.01.22
Start: 258,64$ Finish: 110,65$

Like i said one more session today and i will write a bigger update for the last two weeks.

Hi there,
that is the thing with the bankroll challenge - it keeps you motivated and makes you kind of accountable for your success.
GL in the next weeks!

Sadly my Laptop stoped working and i won`t be able to play for a while or get to my game history.
I have handwritten most of my sessions (Number of MTT`s and BI etc)
Played a session yesterday but no poker for a couple of days.
Will try and backtrace the last weeks. If that means the poker challenge is over I understand.
Will still keep trying to achieve my goal(s).
Have a great weekend.
