another thing you can do is to try for real, don't fool yourself that you can't make it when you play NL2-NL5, is hard to be motivated when you win 3$ in a session...
Raise $ for 3 months(study a game in the meantime) and deposit 500$ and try again. If you are from UK is not that hard to get around 500$ or more. That is my most certain advice.

No roo, ive had a few people ask and i wasnt availible, or vise versa.
Poker has truly humbled me and made me realize just how hard it is to be both the player and the manager. I even bought coffee for all the housekeeping staff here at work today. I have a different outlook on life since i started playing poker. Im not as selfish and greedy as i used to be. I think more about all the decisions i make, which is a big step for me. Losing all that time and money seems much more worth it if I look at it that way. Now i just need to fimd anothr career i can start working toward! Im excited to see where that leads me.
I will use poker as an everlong lesson tool for humbling myself. I will continue to play once a week. I love the game enough to make it my hobby.
A genuine thanks to the staff and members here at ps. For what ive learned and will learn as a result of this site, i am forever grateful.

I think i will just play freerolls and play the 25$ freezeout at my local casino, and just spend any winnings i make. The online gimd is just too much for me right now.
I deposited $10 today. The main focus of any success or failure i have with this ten sheet is brm. meaning getting off when im 4 bi down. or 8 tourney bi's.
all im playing is nl2 and .25c tourneys and .10c turbos for now. im gonna see if i can get past the variance.
im currently 8th out of 39 in a 360 man turbo. 
also doing well in a couple other sngs.
lets see where i can take this, hopefully this is the deposit.

Im sorry roo, ive come to learn that playing with fewer then 25 bi for cg's is not a good idea for me. I play better when im fully rolled for the limit. I won 10 bi last night, which gives me 42 bi for the level im at. I feel comfortable playing with 50, but im not going any lower then 25c as the bi unless its the odd 360 man turbo.
I feel like i really need to focus on tilt management and brm at the moment. I would be willing to skype with anyone about those topics atm. I cant afford signifigant losses at higher limits and i want to get that cracked asap. Someone had suggested tilt breaker. Anyone use this?
Finished 2nd in the 90 man. I couldnt adjust to my opponent before it was too late lol. I was too tired. @lso managed to place 7th in a 45 man.
Overall grade on the night A- because i let 1st place and 8 more bi slip away.

GL man, god knows I've been down to a few bucks before and I think the way to success in that situation is taking all the knowledge you've gained and also find the love that you started this beautiful game with. The first time you took down a free-roll or a 300 plus player tourney(no matter the stakes)
Easier said than done - we tend to get jaded at levels lower than we are used to playing, and don't really feel the rush like we used to.
Idk, I mean I kept depositing $50, $100, even $200 at times and I am still struggling to keep off tilt and give away stacks at limits where my (small) edge is lost.

I have a small tip for avoiding tilt that helps me. Just a mindset shift of instead of seeing tilting as a bad thing and hating yourself for it try to think of avoiding tilt as a good thing and maybe reward yourself for good plays
Like if you're thinking of playing out of BRM, breaking a stop-loss limit making a tilty bluff or call and manage to control yourself then do something fun or eat something delicious or something.
Also if you think about calling in a bad spot just because you really want to see if you were right, just mark the hand and post it so a judge can tell you if you're right and satisfy your curiosity
I dunno if it'll help you but I'm a bit of a tilter and this helps me
Ill try that advice. I do think a lot of negative thoughts while on tilt. I also tend to retilt even quicker if my next session begins bad. I need to just become more aware of how I'm feeling and avoid playing while on edge. I figure this only comes with time and practise.
hey magic i see you posting around here and i dip in and out of your blog from time to time. you seem very dedicated and i was really surprised when i just read the last page! it sounded like you were giving up! just keep going and working on your game man there isnt much else to do. i will follow your blog more.
btw i think you will easily be able to build back up with $10 playing MSS! good luck.
