Hi EliseScott,

I can’t say for sure if PokerStars is a scam or not, but I always think it’s smart to be cautious with any online platform. I look for things like proper licenses, positive reviews from other players, and secure payment options to feel more confident about where I’m playing.

Also look to see how long they've been in business — in the case of Pokerstars, is dealt its first real money hand in 2001, and although not the first ever poker site it is currently the longest continually operating site.

You might also check to see if they are approved by poker discussion platforms, like for example PokerStrategy.com :)

However, as always, only play on sites you trust.

Best of luck :gl:,

Oh, so the rules here say no talking about PokerStars cheating. In that case I have nothing to say.

Poker rooms have no incentive to cheat you.
Hahahahahahaha
This is the biggest bullshit which I have heard in years! I can't stop laughing! Now, dude, I understand that you have built your life around the illusion of fairness, but come on... Of course poker rooms have got EVERY interest in helping fish to survive as long as possible! This translates into rake! Nothing complicated here! And nothing possible to prove as the guy who started the tread said - it will be justified by 'randomness'. I have 2.5 mln. hands on Pokerstars and do you want to see my graph? I have calculated it myself some time ago and PT4 shows the same - extremely unlucky. How many hands do I need for my luck to get back on track?! A few billion?!?! Get back to Earth!
