Why just called the flop? I guess that FD or K/9 can stop the action pretty hard for a lot of hands, which are happy to get it in on flop ...

Hands like QJ etc You're still favourite against them so -> more moneyyz? ...

Cards do not have memory. I may be a bit biased by not moving up to NL50 (now I have over 50BI for it), but I want to do this. Part of why I'm playing NL30 till I have a losing session, where I played good, is because that session will refresh my energy and will start NL50 more humble and with bigger interest to study.

@KillerFishes, Thanks. About the hand, well, you can play your draw aggressively or passively and in a 3way pot with good implieds I chose to play it passively. If I get my stack in on the flop I will usually be vs 2pair+ vs which I'm only a slight favorit. I can make it more +EV by just calling and playing the next streets.

Not unlucky enough? I played a bit out of foucus some parts of the day and some hands I played just terribly. If I would have been on my A game, this graph would be ending at at least 75$. But I also have been unlucky, had a bunch of coolers and beats.

I will take this session as a BE one.

Need to get my study on again! I can get so much better.

Also, I need to regain my focus, to play for the game itself and for further developing my game. Not for winnings alone. This is why I will update a bit less often from now on (updating with graphs like this is nice, but it shifts a bit of my focus, because now I want to end the session by winning so I can post a cool graph well, that doesn't help my game).

NL50 till now did not treat my nice. It's still like every time I moved up. I'm 9 BI down and 6 BI under EV, with a lot of coolers. The game got a bit tougher as regs do know to 3bet a bit more. It's crazy how the number of regs doubled and the number of fish halfed.

I don't have a sample yet as I played only 6.7K hands @NL50.

I'm very ok with this downswing, I played good, with some constant mistakes here and there. But I like it because now I'm improving even more, my motivation grew up a few notches.

Yesterday while starting the session I couldn't find many good tables at NL50, so I also searched for NL30 tables and played both. I just figured out a better way to play. Join the wait-list in as many tables of NL50 and also play good NL30 tables and play only the best tables. There's no need to play only one stake if you don't find the right tables

I'm confident that you will beat NL50 also. I'm not very skilled in poker yet, but I can recognize a determined man, and the people like this are bound to succeed.

Bad thing: there is no secret key to it => we miss "everything"

You just have to work on everything you already know about the game and be open minded for all those things you have no idea about now. Overall it comes down to the same things as for beating nl100

Adapting your game to your opponents (obv this part is way easier on 100. on 1k you cannot play one game vs 100 regs, you have to pinpoint their leaks and exploit them and adjust early enough when they change their game. Obv it's best to smell their adjustments and be one step ahead. that won't and cannot happen all the time, just try to.

Great table selection

Good seat selection (also a difference to 100). Just many strong players around, you don't want the best regs to your left all the time

BRM (do not gamble with your roll. controlled shooting is ok and necessary though)

A bit of composure, humiltiy and gratitutde can't hurt either

Finding likeminded players who can accompany your poker journey

Not all that much changes imo from 25c/50c to 25$/50$, you only have to perfect every little thing about the game. And since edges become so small on high stakes, you really have to be one of the very best if you want to succeed. But I am sure there will always be an edge on every level, it just matters how much you are willing to give up for that. Obv as 25/50 reg you probably want to be online and waiting for fish the whole weekend to be sure you are there when one day Romanian or Russian Millionaires decide to join the party ...

NL50 indeed is a bit tougher. If I am to reach and beat NL400 I have to go trough all the other stakes, so it's not much of an option for me to stay at a lower limit if I have the BR for the next.

But I learned to play more stakes at once, because we are actually not tied to play just one limit. If I can't find good enough NL50 tables, I can always add some NL30 tables.

Anyways, I'm not playing on 888poker anymore, I have deposited on PokerHeaven and got the 1000e bonus (to be released in 60 days). I played today 100 hands, the software seems ok, but when you sit down at the table and play it seems awful, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Standard donk on flop imo... You have equity to get it all in but you don't mind the other folding ~40% equity right now.

When you c/r the SPR is very awkward for later streets. At least don't c/r to pot. It's weird he folded the river. Seems like he had a draw of some kind like QT9x, maybe 579x with clubs. Else I don't understand his fold on that totally awesome river for his range.

The point is, if you donk the whole hand plays better and SPR is better for you.

Thanks for the feedback. How big would you make the donk?

I'd make it $1-$1.10. That way you can fire 3 bets of about 2/3-3/4 pot on each street.

Btw, don't take for granted what I say. I'm still some way off before I can give really really solid PLO advice.
