Well, I'm not playing much theese days. I'm reviewing my sessions and together with articles trying to clear my leaks. Since I found some curious things I made last weeks, it will take me few days to fix it (I'll try to fix it at least). I'll play only some one table sessions and focus on those leaks. I have to spend much more time by reviewing and learning then playing for next few days. I hope it will help me in the future.

Just to add: .25/.50 is going fine as I'm still slightly winning, my BR stands at 308,96$ right now.

BTW: I reached 1k PS points and got my Elephant licence

Since my last update I played few one table sessions. I was afraid of beeing bored but suprisingly I was not. I hope I fixed some leaks as now I know what I did wrong and hopefully can avoid myself of doing the same in future.
Main difference between playing one or more tables for me is that I can easily find what hands are villains playing and most important thing, how they are playing them (realy nice to know that folding relatively good hands can be reasonable even when chart says call/raise sometimes).

When I saw this graph for the first time, I felt like playing NL SSS ♦

For next days my goal is to add one more table and find out how much it will influence my game. And I am going to record theese sessions.

Till now I played about 2.5k hands on .25/.50 (not much due to one tabling sessions). I added one more table and tried to record a session with Camstudio but for some reason I cannot find right recording settings. Internal player works well but if I try any other, video have very poor qualitty.

With two tables running I found stats are very helpfull. But I am using them only for basic sorting. Other things I am trying to find out by viewing the game. BTW Can anybody tell me how to freeze table possitions?I am using old layout. For example if I am sitting in top left possition of table, I am in the corner of table window. If anybody else is on that place, he is sitting by the table. I have to move stats every time. It's annoying little bit.

I'm still running hot on .25/.50. Due this I'm thinking about quick move to .50/1 and create proper bankroll for SH there. I think I'll take some shots on that limit and see how it will go. (since I have proper bankroll for moving up immediatelly)

It's more than week since my last post so another progress update:
I moved to .50/1 FR on party but it was hard to find suitable tables here last week. Due to that I played it only two days. I don't like jackpot tables and only twice I found nonjackpot table with VPIP more than 20. So I played partly .50/1 and .25/.50. Only about 1.5k hands total, but in green...

When I found no tables at party I went back to Titan. But waiting list was about 5 players on each FR table. Because of that I started thinking about SH. I reread some articles about SH, watched some videos and sat down to .1/.2 SH. Game is much much looser than FR especially on this limit. But I found it's very good for training my self-control. First session start was terrible but after while it became to fun. Just because some runner runners and some other crazy hands. Only problem I had was when I saw the same playing style on .5/1 on party. But as mentioned before, my self-control is better every day.
I am about 20BB down after about 500 hands in SH but I'm focusing mainly on FR on party.

I played some MTTs on Party and Stars during last week, but no good results, made some ITM positions but breakeven result after all.

Not everything is going well theese days. At least on .5/1 limit. I experienced a very nice 60BB down session which turns my .5/1 winnings into red numbers. I played three or four tables and I did some realy bad moves. I was probably influenced by SH attempts on Titan and played little bit loose postflop. So I stopped with SH and I am fully focusing on FR again. I'm back to two tables which is better for my game and my winrate as well.

Very interesting is that after bad FL sessions I am doing good in MTTs. Yesterday I played 1EUR freezout (400ppl) and finnished on 10th place with amazing 5.5EUR price ♦. Not much but first FT in January...

No Fixed limit since my last post. I played some MTTs only. One national freeroll - standart shovefest. I finnished in ~300 of 600. My AKs lost to AQo preflop all-in. At the same time I played 5.5$ 15kGTD on Stars and here is the result:

I don't think It's unbeatable. I'm not playing much on this limit. Especially at the evenings there is realy long waiting list on each table. But sometimes it's OK. Meantime I'm still playing on .25/.50. It's much looser there and more tables. I had some shots on SH tables on Titan bud don't feel well there.

After few days I'm back to FL and having nice sessions there last three days. I'm playing partly .50/1 and .25/.50. Lower limit is still making me nice profit. Especially with no good .50/1 tables (there are not any most of time except weekends)
However I'm in green numbers again on .50/1 limit.

Just take care because there are a lot of hands here that beat you - I think check/call is a better play here (although I'm often wrong ;)), MP1 is going to bet on river 99% of the time after two checks, and you may get the same pot size with SB call if you are ahead.

I'm about 30BB down for last two days, I hit some coolers and played on very tight tables just because of bonus - not best idea I'm going to play .25/.50 again when there will be no good tables on .5/1. But sometimes all tables on party are tight as hell. Due to that I'm playing on Titan as well. It's much looser then Party last days. I want to play for a while here and then move my BR to other room (probably mansion). I already created account there few days ago because of another starting capital. It means I'll be back to .1/.2 limit for a while (I just hope to not go broke here ♦).

But Partypoker is still my main room so iPoker is just backup for tight Party evenings.
Since I'm little bit busy for today and tomorrow I'll update my progress at the end of this week (just wondering why I have to do something mainly at the evenings).

Hi all,
last week I played allmost 1.5k hands, in February about 2k total LoL.

February start was terrible as I already mentioned before. So I played some 25c/50c which works fine till the weekend. Then I found two loose tables on .5/1 (about 40 VPIP) and decided to sat down. Aftrer about 100hands I was 50BB down. It was enough for me to stop playing that day. At least I spent some time by watching videos and rereading articles (and finally read gold ones). I was back to .25/.50 and after few short sessions (at two tables max) I quit party for a while. Meantime I played some 10c/20c at mansion where players are realy crazy and therefore sessions were very swingy (when gutshots and bottom pairs were nuts on flop).

After weekend I was back to party and finally had winning session on .5/1. Whole session was about 3 minutes long (then table became empty) - one whole orbit ♦. I won 12BB in 7 hands.

What I'm going to do now (update to previous post about "bankroll moving"):
I will play at mansion and clear the 50 + 100 bonus. Then there will be several options. Move BR from mansion to Party and start with SH (which I already started on Titan) or move BR from Party to Mansion and clear first deposit bonus there (this is just for me to remember what I wanted to do in case I forget it)

Next time first mansion update (hopefully)

Just to add:
All those words about moving is just because of one thing. Last days my game was about "I have to play, I have to post something in my blog". Why I did that? I realy don't know. But playing 10c/20c is for me fun right now and this is what poker should be about, right?

One advice, go play 0.5/1 FL FR on pokerstars... There is a lot more advantages to play there from my opinion and experience!

This sort of swing has been pretty typical in my playing experience. The key is in your session review. What was the cause... nutters getting lucky with weaker hands? nutters getting decent hands and you paying them off?

If your play was correct, then the ups and downs don't really matter. If your play needed work then its a learning experience.

At these limits its all just preparation for playing a decent game at a serious limit. Remember, the ups and downs don't matter in the short term. Its the long term improvement in your game that matters... IMO its really the only thing that matters!

I found the gold playing v maniacs article and the call down article pretty helpful and periodically revise these to help me get a clearer picture on what it is I'm trying to achieve v these players.

Good luck and remember, its all just a game, so enjoy it whatever level you're playing! If its a job then, good luck because there aren't too many people out there who actually enjoy their jobs.

Unfortunatelly I had account there before I joined PS so my account is not tracked (but I'll go there if everything else fails)

What was the cause...

of course I did the review and found some bad play. But I had two times KK and QQ once and three times I run into Aces. Then my only Aces were cracked by J4o which became straight after flopped gutshot. So after those 100 hands I felt realy bad and left table

I agree, but it happend before I read theese articles.

No poker for me today and tomorrow so next update will be during weekend. It means only few evenings spent by playing cash games cause of BOTD on Sunday evening.
