Now I remember why I hate fulltilt....

The whole day..thats 6 hours of suckouts and more coolers than I have ever seen. I felt like everytime I pushed a decent hand like AK or AQ TT JJ QQ someone had AA or KK.

The last tourny I played today i got my money in with top two pair and the other guy runner runners a full house. That was my day in one hand.

Ended the day 3 buyins down thanks some unreal luck.

On a positve note, I keept to my routine and felt really good, I was playing really well just not getting the luck.

Just have to wait for tomorrow and see if fulltilt fucks me in the arse again.

I applied to be coached by TEAM MOSHMAN and I am pleased to say I have been accepted!
I would get coached by a very good coach called "vandweller" who is a well known producer for duecescracked. I am very pleased about being accepted but the terms are a little more than I had thought they would be. I would have access to all the coaches including Colin Moshman himself via email.

50% of profit for 6 months (This is standard and what I expected)
50% of rakeback for 6 months.

The 50% of rakeback I was not expecting and seems kind of harsh to me as I will be relying on this for living expenses.

I will do some calculations on how much of an impact this will make and if I can actually take on this offer.

What do you guys think...

Sounds nice. 50/50 staking deal for 6 months can be fair depending on how much you're gonna get coached.. I mean, with that deal it should be in their interest to keep you winning a lot atleast 50% cut is a lot if you're trying to live from it though

The 50% of my winnings is a great deal and they only take a cut if I win and do not take anything until the loss is made up which I thought was very good.

At present I can beat the games I play but I will not get anybetter by myself and watching videos only does so much.

Its a once a week 1 on 1 with IM or emails as required.

Hey, I was just wondering, you mentioned that this staking deal offer is for 6 months... what happens after that, you negotiate the conditions again?

Well there are a few options..

1) part company

2) re-negotiate terms

3) Join team Moshamn

The third I am really interested in as If you become a part of the team you become a coach for team moshman, coaching your own people. You have to show consistant winnings obviously to get promoted

So, for example, if you were a 3%ROI player and you accepted the deal, does it mean you would need to become a 6% ROI player to make the same money?

Or is it more than that - because the r/b is the same however high your ROI?

Sounds interesting though - let us know about your calcs, if you want, and we can offer second opinions etc.

Go to Colin moshmans site, not sure I can directly link to it in here but I am sure a quick google search should find his personal site.

Then you apply via his website they then decide if you are suitable, people that are are selected and offered a place to be coached by one of his proven coaches.

I have done some workings out and if they can get me beating the $22+2's on Fulltilt for 10% roi then I will easly have enough with bankroll increasing.

I have been thinking about getting a coach for sometime(about 6 months) so I think it might be time to take the plunge.

Hey Tim,

I think you are right about your calculations but the long term is what I am thinking about. Paying out for 6 months is a small price to pay for the potential benifits of becoming a winning reg at any limit and potential to become a decent coach within a solid group, this the big plus in my eyes.

If I up my tables to 9 I will be able to play 480 sng's a week.
This way I can get by and build my bank even with a roi of 5%

All I can say is after working it all out they stand to make alot of money from me but I think it is worth it

Well in that case... you have your answer The long term is definitely key - especially if you can get by in the meantime.

Just a thought: You could consider just paying for a couple of 'uncontracted' coaching sessions with little commitment, say from coaches on this site, and see how you find it before diving in, for 6 months.

Well I just got a reply from Team Moshman...

I asked about if rakeback was always payable even when going through rough patches.
The reply was yes and he offered me a new deal of 25% rakeback with increased volume of 400 sng's a week.

I thought this was a good deal and snap replyed, you got a deal..

Quick update on Team Moshman...

The contract has been prepared and colin is reiewing it, once sent to me and I agree then I am all set to go.

Provisional start date is 15th as Vandweller is in Vegas at the mo.

So I have been playing on fulltilt for two days and I am already 11 buyins under EV.
Yesterday was a day of coolers and today have been a day of runner runner suckouts.

Im already $330 down.

All I want is to be rewarded for my plays but poker has always just fucked me and I guess it always will.
