Looks like I'm oficially back in the game now, I kind of have a goal of 480K points in order to buy an instant $1K cash bonus on Mansion and yesterday got motivated after my KK beat a guy with AA yet again(all in pf). I don't consider this bad play anymore, I have had my AA cracked too, so its all balancing out.
I was going to have to buy HEM but now I'm very optimistic about the new Elephant developers GL to them fixing those bugs and making it faster!
I recently discovered a b&m casino with a rebuy freeroll and cash tables, Made like $60 with 2 bad beats/flips ♠_evil: (Is my KJs vs AQ a flip or a beat? 40/60). Buy-in is $26 and blinds are $1.31 both small and big. So its SSS(I just shoved every good hand after 4 limpers lol) all the way until I double up =). I'm not too fond of them showing each other their cards from time to time though.
Curiously, there were many more people on the $263 buy-in table with $10.50 blinds, I HAVE to check that out next time since I have the BR IRL for it.
My kid bro placed 4/70(lucky bastard) in the freeroll so he was the bubble; the guy that won rebought many times. My friends say they will definitely go this friday.

Some days back there was a LAG playing ATC on my NL50 table and while we were all struggling to beat him(some were flaming him because he seemed to win every pot), he said something very interesting:
"Don't play unless you love the game"
This statement stuck in my mind because it sounded weird at the time, it also hit me hard because I realized I wasn't having fun at the tables.
I had switched from SSS to BSS, that made the game more enjoyable. Then I started playing less tables, this was better for my style of play but was I "loving" it? nope.
So how do I start "loving the game"? I realized that the LAG guy was right, but how the hell do I start enjoying myself more at the tables?
Winning isn't enough because the "down" feeling after loosing is way bigger than the "high" of winning. Switching sites doesn't seem the answer, neither does switching to a different poker game(omaha, stud, etc).
I have come to the conclusion that what makes the game kinda boring for me is the ABC strategy that is apparently needed to beat NL50.
In order to make the game more interesting I must learn how and when to bluff effectively, attacking each opponent's style with a counter of my own.
I must control the table, and make them fear me! They must never know what I hold, is it 72? or AA? To do this without losing my entire stack will be the challenge.
I will apply what TwiceT says "Position is everything" and "Position >>> all".
I will learn to love this game!
Nice that you came to this insight - I had a similar experience some time ago and poker became soooooo much more fun
But if you want to start playing looser... maybe it's time to finally play SH?

I've been playing the 8-handed and prob will try SH again.
I'm posting from my in-laws house which is 6 hours away from ours.
Last friday I went to the casino again and waited for the $26 cash table to start. I noticed the stacks grow pretty fast there and it isnt so much SSS as I thought. So this time I (cautiously) bought another $26 in chips and after about an hour won over $30.
This cash table is like a gold mine, my friend (just started on FTP btw) and I, couldnt believe the hands that were being played. The most sursrising for me was when my friend shoved for $26 after 2 limpers and one of them called with 93s! This was winning tilt at its best as he had just cuadrupled his stack recently.
After cashing in, I watched the $250 buyin table with $5/10 blinds and saw some pretty weird plays but no really really bad play like on the cheap table. My goal will be to win at this table some months from now. My short term goal is to win more at the $26 table, I will be buying chips to keep up with the largest stacks.
This " dont play unless you love the game" is a good one. It has motivated me too in the recent days, good way to keep away the tilt. This and the second : "It is poker , dont play if you cant handle it"
Btw nice blog , and nice run you are having:).. What is your next goal, NL 100?

thnx, and yea NL100 is my goal, but no rush, last time I tried to rush I hit a downswing and nearly quit

Actually I played less than 4 hours this weekend, I don't have much motivation with all the withdraw trouble I (and other people) have. So I prob didn't see you =P
Why do they have to make all this deposit/withdraw procedure so confusing? My credit card doesnt approve gambling funds, the site wants me to deposit before withdrawing, new cards want to charge an annual fee...
When I think of depositing into a company that might go bust or not give me my money without a fight, I think of just letting it rot in there =P ($652 in Titan).
Atm I consider the money I have won online as not mine yet. I don't take it into account. What I have learned as a poker player at PS.com is mine. And has helped me win in live games

Oi^^ I haven't really had any problems with withdrawing or depositing so far. I simply got myself a Moneybookers account - which you can hook up to either your bank account or credit card.
After you have a few dollars on that you can simply use that for all transactions with pretty much no problems at all.. 
I played a bunch on Sunday (although I had a horrible evening with 6 stacks down ♦) - but did have 12+ 8 max tables open. So if you were playing 8-max we probably shared a table at one point or another

Someone here told me to get another credit card, but what if that one is rejected too?
Should I try and make a minimum deposit at Titan with my MB acct(first I would have to deposit in MB) and go from there?

Hehe I usually don't play much at all- and was playing different formats. So as a re-start for NL SH/FR I decided to play 20k hands at NL50 before moving on higher again.
Have 18,3k of those done - so I will do NL100 next

Hi mate,
Don't take this as gospel, but I think the PS affiliated Titan FDB is 200% up to $600. Thus depositing $300 should be sufficient to entitle you to the full $600.
That said, I don't think a BR of $300 is sufficient to grind out the necessary 2100$ rake over 3 months unless you play sick volume.
I've had virtually no life for the last 12 weeks...
