Hey, the man of a thousand blogs is back for another one!

I'll be following this one. I find a peculiar interest in your life for some reason (even though I only read a few anecdotes about it in your other blogs). You keep on saying how you suck at real life and you're such a fish, but remember you have already taken a step that over 90% of humanity hasn't: You've acknowledged your situation. You know where you stand. Most people think they know where they stand, but they actually haven't a clue. Respect for that!

By the way, I have lately stumbled upon a book dealing with birth numbers and life purposes etc. I have always been a bit skeptical about this kind of stuff, but this book in paticular was written by Dan Millman (the guy from "The Peaceful Warrior"), and I really identified myself with The Peaceful Warrior (which is an awesome book for you to read in case you haven't... it can really enlighten a lot of stuff). Anyway, since it was written by this guy whom I respected, I decided to take a look at it. I checked up my birth numbers and surprisingly enough the book nailed me down perfectly! It was really amazing. The whole idea is that there are certain energies behind birth numbers, energies that will be present in your life and with which you have to work in order to grow. So the book describes each energy, tells you some specific issues that might arise in your life and how to deal with them, in order to improve yourself as a man. It might have been just coincidence that I identified so much with it, but what do you know, eh? Anyway, if you feel like knowing more about it, let me know your full birth date and I can look up some general info about it and then send it to you. You then see if you identify with it. If you do, you can ship the book and read the whole detailed thing, and if you don't, well, you can simply not ship the book and forget about it :P

Cheers and GL!

Hi

I think your blogs are great. I find you very inspiring! although I am starting my poker life and at the moment I am mostly playing SSS. I am suree you can beat NL5000 in no time. GL hopefully someday i'll be where you are in poker.

@calta: well, i dont rly believe in astrology and similar things so i am not sure :) .. i mean, i pretty much know i am a gamer, and i never rly enjoyed doing too much social things but then again, i feel a lot alone from time to time so have to be balancing a bit

@thazar: :) oh thx, i hope i can be a good winner on NL5k till the end of the year, there is a lot to work on though.

yea, and 1 more news: from today i am sort of a more official handjudge for NL100-NL1k+.. Bierbaer remains to be "the chief" for up to NL200, so i need more hands for NL400+ which i should take care of, so if anyone has any, pls post, i ll like to comment on it.

/yea the plan behind judgin is also not to feel this freakingly selfish in life/

Nice one! No offense to Bierbaer but i would also welcome it if u would judge NL100 hands. The times u posted ur analysis it was really interesting to see ur thoughts on the hand and how deep u think. I think the players here can learn a lot from u.

Jozko! uv got a gazillion blogs!

sometimes (actually, more often than not), it's really hard to find our way. u may think u are so lost & behind in real life, but on the other hand, ur waaay advanced in poker.

its true wat they say, u have a fascinating life. :) thanks for all the interesting chats. uv inspired me much in my life & taught me much about poker too. so see? uv done some good. hehe...

hope u figure things out. see you around!

@Becks: well Bierbaer rly does a gr8 job of judging, it seems like he s putting quite a lot of effort into it. Only thing i dont like is when he judges a hand after me saying basically the same and the hand is then completely removed of my judging signature /found out today/. But yea, he s the paid boss.. I wont post too much i guess until there s a demand for me becoming a "professional" judge.

@purplefizz: whoa! i ve been missing u so much and the night conversations too! u dont seem to be on skype these days at all tho. /?

yesterday was a 1st time in ~15y i ve build a snowman with a friend. was abt 2m high.. pheh, never though its so much work, putting the middle ball onto the lower one is rly a difficult task :) .. we didnt have a camera tho and today its already destroyed by the local scum. _mad: fu*k this agressive society! but yea i guess that s how we make money... uncontrolled agression in poker ftw _love:

btw i was thinking kinda a lot abt my life in general and still am considering going to Malta/Gibraltar/London if there are more ppl i know of interested. Since living alone is boring and it takes a lot of homework i dont want to do all by myself i am considering inviting some plr/s to my flat for some period of up to 1 year.

if sb is interested let me know. U should be a decent plr, funny & honest with at least some interests to sports.

I live in the very center of Bratislava. It is the best location with all the clubs around, the flat is pretty nice i d say with 2.5rooms, 2 balconies, ~4 places to sleep tho i would just consider 1-2 roommates coz i dont rly like too much rush all the time.

*side note: if u re a girl u dont have to play poker at all, just cooking and bed skills are fair enough

its semiserious now, but if i get to know a proper person it rly would be realistic.
Yoghi is considering moving to London to a pokerflat and i might come along if there s ntg to do in Slovakia.

I would seriously consider that knowing i can beat NL100+..

=) Good luck in finding that bed skilled girl

Btw arent you more attracted in travelling lets say for a year? Somethig like live one month here, one month there.. But obviously you might also need some poker bro to enjoy such thing =)..

Hello TLN

Everytime I read your posts I think: "damn, thats exactly how I feel". Ofc not in all and not to the extremes but still .

Since I'm graduated in like a week (hopefully) I am also thinking about 'whats next' and honestly I dont know. The thing I'm certain about is that I wanna play poker and be very good at it. But I don't know if I want to stay in an appartement or travel around (stay somewhere for a few weeks) and move on. The thing that bothers me the most is the loneliness. I don't know people who are in the same situation as me and be willing to do this. So its hard to go into that direction.

But anyways if you wanna have a chat about it, contact me on Skype (joenaesvb)

Oh and I'll defo consider posting some NL400 hands soon, I always loved to read your thoughts :)

FFFFUUUUU TLN! You can inspire so hard![dunno if this sentence is correct.]
[x] your fan.
In weekly vote "Who will be the best winner in 2010" I voted for newcomer. Guess who was that newcomer in my mind?
Ok I will give some shots at ring games again. :f_confused:

LOL at cooking and bedskills! _mad:

i myself was looking for a man with cooking and bedskills. well, it was tricky but u know i managed to find one. heheh... its been fantastic so far.

hmmm ur right, i think my skype icon isnt on! but im online and have resumed playing. but not so obsessively this time since im determined to enjoy real life (taking ur example). i dont play 10 hrs straight. maybe 3-4 hrs only in 2 sessions. i need to focus tho. first 4k hands have been a bit rough. i should post update in my blog. will try to mark some hands for you next time, ok? :f_confused:

i need to go to a psychologist 2moro for sure. i dont want to live right now at all.. damn, all i care abt is in vain. i dont have any motivation to do anything. i feel like there was just the freeze accompanying me in life. I miss even that last inertia that was dragging me along for some time now. Its just ridiculously difficult for me to figure out what is worth of getting up from bed nowadays. I am strongly considering of quitting poker for good if that helps just to find any lifeforce within. Tho it doesn seem that going to uni would change anything. Its just that i am emotionally totally dead ever since the break up with gf /1.5y now/

[22:28:10] TheLastNail: i mean.. i am ntg.. i dont have anything to care for
[22:28:16] TheLastNail: nobody cares anyway
[22:28:42] TheLastNail: and its just so frustrating to have materially by far the most i ever had and be totally empty inside
[22:29:11] twicet: well, then think about what u should change and do that
[22:29:22] twicet: u are smart, there is also a way to improve one's situation
[22:29:39] twicet: not always easy, but there are always solutions
[22:31:40] twicet: sit down on your ass and think about it. or, what i think is better, run around the blocks, at best when its raining or snowing and think about your situation
[22:31:58] TheLastNail: yea, just did that :)
[22:32:06] twicet: just dont be a fish and take the easy way out "ooooh it doesnt make sense im so poor"
[22:32:08] TheLastNail: its -11C here tho so not so long of a walk..
[22:32:17] twicet: everybody has issues
[22:32:26] twicet: not only u
[22:32:50] TheLastNail: yea, but all my friend have at least school or sth to "care for" like .. look forw to, even if they hate it
[22:33:01] TheLastNail: i just feel like i am completely devoid of all feelings
[22:33:05] TheLastNail: i dont hate anything
[22:33:12] TheLastNail: yet i dont love anything either

[22:35:00] twicet: u could also be poor, work hard 40 hours/week and nobody gives a fuck
[22:35:05] twicet: so what?
[22:35:28] TheLastNail: well.. yea, but at least u work with fucking ppl u hate
[22:35:32] twicet: if u want ppl who give a fuck, then do something that creates that situation
[22:35:33] TheLastNail: at least u feel that emotion!
[22:35:47] TheLastNail: when u wake up go to work : "oh fuck" those bastards again, i hate my life
[22:35:52] TheLastNail: but i dont feel anything!
[22:38:12] twicet: stop being such a fish
[22:38:17] twicet: u need to take responsibilites
[22:38:25] twicet: if u dont like your current situation
[22:38:29] TheLastNail: well.. yea
[22:38:32] twicet: sit down on your ass and think what to do
[22:38:40] twicet: what action leads to what outcome
[22:38:45] twicet: etc etc

[22:40:51] twicet: u need to love your life, before u can love sb else
[22:40:52] TheLastNail: and thx for talking to me.. i feel a bit better now.. yea.. u know: i rly need to do sth fulfilling
[22:41:04] TheLastNail: i need to organize camps for children or sth
[22:41:07] TheLastNail: like i did before
[22:41:13] TheLastNail: i hate being a selfish moneyprinter
[22:41:28] TheLastNail: (party)
[22:41:31] TheLastNail: i hate sth!!!
[22:41:58] twicet: sure u need
[22:42:01] twicet: i always told u
[22:42:08] twicet: JUST grinding is not enough
[22:42:13] twicet: it cant be enough to just work
[22:42:22] twicet: also, if u were an investmentbanker
[22:42:26] twicet: it wozld be exactly the same
[22:42:39] twicet: just workin, no family, no party, no friends, no hobbies etc etc is not enough
[22:42:46] twicet: poker itself is not the problem

---> yea, damn, i rly need to stop bitching abt life.. i HAVE the power to take the responsibility and stop waiting for things to just "happen" around. If i dont like my life now, i need change it here and now!

Hi man, your story makes me feel like a sad panda, don't say such things.

I feel that you need more regular social contact, sign up in a local sportsclub, go travel with some good friends (to a sunny place obv, sun always helps in these dark winters :)) or whatever, just stop playing for a while and discover life..

I know you'll find a way!

Peace

Just tell people around you how much you are earning with poker, they'll all admire you :) (more biatches comes with the status xD)

I tend to think that would only lead to hatred

This!

And one more question, but pokerwise.
Till what limit I should use hyper-aggro BRM? NL25,50 or 100?
