hey, ppl: abt the hand: well it was just as a practical joke or so, to minr river as a bluff
.. well the logic is pretty much str8 forward and simple: ve been pretty new to the table, but knew all other regs, so quickly realized villain was a massive fish. no to lead AKK board it needs sth special: either an extremely good plr which range is heavily weighted towards value /coz mostly vs tags cannot extract more than even 1 street of value if they happen to have just weak Ax. Hence a rly good reg can lead her with fe KQ /can be in his cc range from blinds/ 3x to get max val from worse Kx or from some strong Ax which are too stubborn to let go. Since he is a bad plr tho, all this discussion is pretty much worthless. ---> He never has here anything stong, most are just gutters QJ,QT,JT, or pure air, very rarely weak Ax. He is very agro uncontrolled maniac, and obv i like to float vs such ppl coz their own agression is just immensily killing them. And i like to be the one preparing the rope for them. In the hand, by river ntg changes from flop, i would give up on Q,J or T, everything else just means he didnt hit his gutter and now the question is how much to raise so that he folds. I usually raise a bit more in this spots just so ppl cannot reship over me with Qhigh ♦ .. but i didnt have any history with him at all, so wasnt totally sure abt if he is maniac enough to play say A6o like this or sth.. therefore just minraised, so that if wrong and called i dont lose much and i create hyperfishy image for him, which is also an extremely important factor here. Say, even if i might be called by his ~5% of top range i ll just get by far the most action from him and i need this dynamic, coz notice: he has the absolute position on me on the table, so unless he wants to play pots vs me, he doesnt have to
..
more abt pokah: 2days ago played an MTT of pokerstrategists for a ticket to London Open 2010.. was prolly my best career finish .. sth like 50th from ~1100 or so.. anyway: i was hovering in chips in betw 10th-20th pos for most of the time in the latter stages. I noticed 1 pretty strange /to me/ plr which was a chipleader at our table and also overall i think, i was 3rd in stack at the time at the table and decided to double up through him coz if i managed to do so i would be a pretty clear chipleader overall and its just the 1st place that counts right? /tho there were some financial too.. but just symbolic.. like 2nd place was 1k, overall prices just 5k i think-the ticket was important!/ .. ok so back to the hand: so we were abt 55 left in the tourney and i was abt 15th, he /the chipleader/ opens utg+3 to 3x bb /tho it was with antes, so adds up to sth/ i had 22bb stack afair, or so.. he had a bit more than 2x more than me, i saw him spewing a bit in last few hands so decided to just call my KJs. The board came sth like 346ss so i had flushdraw+overs. i c, he bets almost pot quickly and i decided to shove over that which was quite a sizeable raise but figured out, he can have ntg a lot, so i have fe, and even if called i am pretty much flipping with almost anything.
@MTT plrs: was that a good play? in retrospect i think i might have just waited and play a patient game and avoid him, but w/e i played a lot of cg tables at the time and i was in a mood to gamble it up for a chiplead now rather than wait to not have the chippower anymore.
i was a lot shocked when he snapped me with A4o. /i had a tight image at this table since i came there i was just involved in 1 hand i think from ~15 or so/ .. i didnt improve so i went home. I hope he didnt win it coz from my perspective thats kinda horrible from him, but again, i didnt study MTTs at all and i still suck a lot tbh, so maybe his play is ok given he can afford to lose and still be in top10 overall stacks ?!
@cg: i didnt post any update coz of this: dont know if anyone noticed it, but i ususally post graphs just after some pretty good or at least mediocre session. I dont post when i am running badly or sth and the reason is that i dont look at session results at all and try to keep my confidence high by analysing a bit and reassuring i played the best. These days i run into rly a lot setups vs me esp vs fish which was frustrating a lot. Fe, on NL1k i tripled up one fish just allins pf within 1h: JJ vs QQ /was squeezed.. is splashy agro plr vs which JJ is a waaaay ahead of his range/ , KK vs AA and AK vs QQ .. ofc soon after he donated all money to all other regs so we were playing deep with basically my money on the table ♦.. incredible, how can 1 maniacish donkey have so many favourable setups just vs me?! but ofc, i ll get it all back and more ♠_evil: vs him just managed a more symbolic revenges, 1 AA vs KK and then ownament postflop ofc in almost every small pot. I am very happy abt my recent play, have a big edge overall over regs so still feel positive abt making this a huuge month. was up ~7k in first 2 days, from then on just rly ntg spectacular
@other life: damn, realized how everything is aging. Havins sorta philosophical mood these days with my upcoming 24th bday. I dont rly feel good, must say ♦ for the first time in my life i realize i am acutally not a child anymore.. probably ♦ .. having my own flat to care abt and pay all the bills etc for myself, just living completely independently, do all shoppings, clean everything, take care abt flowers, do washing up, ironing and meals sometimes makes me rly wanna cry when i see some boys with schoolbags on their back in the afternoon.
would also like to know your take on the subject. So the question: do u feel old?! or: at what point in your life did u realize u re getting actually older.
btw: also taking more attention to elderly lately coz it rly interests me a lot, and i sadly feel like i am gonna be soo helpless like them 1 day. Need to have a wonderfully caring wife i guess to take care of my frustrations from long deaf ears, blind eyes, shaking hands, bent back, no tooth, malfunctional bladder at nights and just a bad bad temper&memory, only dementia in its finest..
omg.. 4ever young, i wanna be 4ever young!
