That leaves only a strip club visit on my list of Vegas sins to be indulged in. Probably try to get in on a group visit if one is in the offing; way too seedy to go by myself!

How much smoking goes on at the tables? Coming from a non-smoking casino just wondering what the protocol / etiquette is

Protip: Don't go during weekends/holidays as it's gonna be overcrowded. Call the club and tell them to come for you with a limo, never pay for that or entrance.

Never seen anyone smoking at the tables actually. On the casino floor yes but never at a poker table.

Yeah, no smoking at the poker tables. Only in the main casino, which is separate.

Does your family allow you to touch strippers? If not, then overcrowdedness at weekends makes little difference (up to a certain extent when you just fail to see the scene), and you'd rather pick an evening spontaneously when the games turn out worse than usual.

(It's said by someone who has never even considered going to neither a strip club nor a brothel, so take it with a grain of salt.)

It's 4pm and the rain is pouring down. Just like Vegas to deliver an unlucky blow when you least expect it. Milan, me et al. are flying home in a few short hours and our assistant is doing the house handover to the owner as I sit in the gloom writing this.

Last night my last hot tub. This morning my last swim. The dream is nearly over, the return to reality a blessed promise. Tomorrow, weather permitting, I'll see my family again after 5 weeks.

I'll do a wrap up in a few days; results were break even after costs, so no celebrations. But no misery either: a once in a life time opportunity that I wouldn't have missed for the world.

Now, just need to run good and fade the flash flood river whose banks are near to breaking...

So, I've been home for a few days and normality has settled in but with a frisson of novelty. Which is to say that the normal things are kind of fun!

Made a massive mexican dinner last night: home-made refried beans, pico de galo, guacamole, and lime marinaded chicken. Mrs Tim64 was very impressed when she got home from work. ♦

Slowly returning to the online tables with some low/mid stakes action: $10s/$15s/$30s. Will hit the $60s+ later this week... I'm glad to find that the games are still beatable - Vegas has a way of distorting reality...

Enjoyed the last couple of days in US as we wound down; a good day out visiting Aria and New York, New York with some great food and a last few hands of Blackjack.

Wiki says the garden at Chatsworth gets 300k visitors/year, whereas Yellowstone gets 2m+.
