Just a short post to record recent events. Until recently been running very well (including well above EV). Last couple of days have seen a definite "cooling off period".
Overall pretty happy with my play and probably no bad thing that the aura of invincibility has been breached. EV b/e over the last 250 games which is always kind of frustrating but it's no biggie.
Definitely a struggle to find decent games at the moment... tons of mediocre regs out there who, whilst not being particularly good, know enough to put a serious dent in your ROI.
Think I will struggle to get through the $3k earnings ceiling this month (although only half way through my month so too early to tell really). But I must just remind myself that any kind of profit is good compared to all those months of breaking even.
I'm about 100 games short of 2.5k gs @ 6max (all speeds/limits). I'll post an overall graph then - please remind me if I forget!

Played out of my skin today. Really pleased. Recovered a bunch of red line profits (at the expense of running pretty badly). Really chuffed how the desired mindset of only caring about my red line seems to be reasonably firmly in place.
It will be interesting to see how I feel if I start to run bad over a long period of time...

Couple of days off in London, now, to celebrate Mrs Tim64's birthday. Going out to a swanky restaurant on Saturday night and a posh picnic in Kew Gardens on Sunday. Should be awesome.

Probably like on TV - the fancy blanket with the fancy clothes, the fancy basket - with champagne and strawberries, an umbrella for the sun, a little dog that runs around etcetc

So, really enjoyed our weekend off in London. The little one has been having some difficulty sleeping, but fortunately she seemed to improve just before we left and behaved herself admirably for my mum, who was babysitting.
Delicious meal out on Saturday night at the Almeida:
For all you foodies...
Peach and framboise blinis as an aperitif;
Avocado and crayfish tian; stake tatare;
Pot roasted guineafowl with pommes Dauphinoise; panfried black bream with crushed peas and Champagne veloute;
crème brûlée and passionfruit tart.
The picnic in Regents Park was pretty much as pictured above (minus the Morgan). Okay, slight exaggeration... There was the usual overcast weather but the New Zealand sauvignon blanc, Parmesan crusted chicken, couscous salad with harrissa dressing and crostini with black olive tapenade kept spirits up.
Poker continues nicely and I am running significantly above EV overall. I continue to take mini stabs at the $60s but unfortunately that's the only limit where I am running badly -- around 10 BI below EV, so I keep having to drop back down.
It's all very inefficient and I would probably be best off just waiting for backing in June (my June) but I'm so impatient...

Thanks for all your comments, guys. Bit worried about the latest developments at FT, but while there are still fish at the tables I suppose I will keep playing.
Really don't want to have to find a new platform to grind on, having established myself on current limits against regs and fish like, each of whom I have extensive notes on.
I am hoping that -- like the initial Black Friday -- this will be a hiccough that Fulltilt has to work through and that holding out will prove to be the right decision...
We shall see. Until then, the grind continues.
