A4o hand
I don't think his turn shove is too good on the biggest brick, once you raised pre bet flop and called his raise...
What is he repping other than the flush draw - A3/AT, but I doubt he is flatting with A3o and he is maybe 3betting AT pre, so I think you played it very good.
I need to take example from that - I usually just give on flop in this spot, because don't think too much, which is a mistake obv. :)

Arrgh! Tom, I'm really sorry. MrsTim64 and I had a rare argument and I had to go out for a walk to try to clear the air (epic fail).

Let me know when you can reschedule.

Logged onto hotmail just now. And first thing I see is an email from Amazon needling me about losing 3/4 of my bankroll:

Just how sick are these guy??? I was going to email them in disgust when I noticed that the promo starts on a Monday. Somehow the irony of that cheered me up enough to let it go.

btw, thanks Tampaloeres81.
@LgWz, I think so. But despite the 50:50 odds, I never seem to cash in those.

$400 down today. A year ago I would have had palpitations and felt hopeless about this. These days I just reload the account and continue on. Feels like a rlly positive thing to care this little about losing what is quite a sizeable chunk of dough.

Interesting hand of the day:

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $200(BB) Replayer
Hero ($3,100)
BB ($3,660)
BTN ($5,240)

Dealt to Hero 9♣ A♣

fold, Hero raises to $3,100 (AI), BB calls $2,900

FLOP ($6,200) T♦ 5♥ 3♥

TURN ($6,200) T♦ 5♥ 3♥ 6♦

RIVER ($6,200) T♦ 5♥ 3♥ 6♦ 8♠

BB shows 9♠ K♠
(Pre 29%, Flop 13.7%, Turn 6.8%)

Hero shows 9♣ A♣
(Pre 71%, Flop 86.3%, Turn 93.2%)

Hero wins $6,200

Villain is a top reg and we are on the bubble. Lately, he has started to get out of line vs me, inc min3betting me and calling widely to mess postflop. I had shoved a couple of hands recently with around 15bbs to counter this, including the last bvb hand and one from the BU too. Here he levels himself into calling K9s. I really hate this. Nash is KTs and for that he would have to know (or have good reason to belive) that I would stick in 15bb with hands like T4s in this spot - i.e. 53.5% - to make even that a good call.

Ownage Hand of Day:

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $600(BB) Replayer
($10,350)
Hero ($9,650)

Dealt to Hero A♦ 5♥

Hero raises to $1,200, calls $600

FLOP ($2,400) 6♠ 2♠ T♦

checks, Hero checks

TURN ($2,400) 6♠ 2♠ T♦ T♠

checks, Hero checks

RIVER ($2,400) 6♠ 2♠ T♦ T♠ 5♠

bets $2,400, Hero calls $2,400

shows K♥ 7♣
(Pre 40%, Flop 24.9%, Turn 13.6%)

Hero shows A♦ 5♥
(Pre 60%, Flop 75.1%, Turn 86.4%)

Hero wins $7,200

Villain is a fish, obviously. He's very often bluffing in this spot, trying to rep either the Tx or rivered flush. When ppl pot it here, when you yourself have shown no strength in the hand, you should always question their motive.

Potting it here makes no sense without history. Hero has no hand so how could he call such a big bet. Villain will always bet his value hands smaller here, to try to eek a call from Ace high or w/e, knowing the board is scary. So potsz makes no sense for value. Ergo... bluff.

And the funny thing is, if he makes it $1000, I'm snapfolding. :f_biggrin:

k9s is pretty bad for that many bbs, 10bbs is a snap call

A5o bet flop, bet turn :)

One of the things I love about Party is that certain words have to be typed like the title of this entry, i.e. with_a_space_between_each_letter. Apparently it's because they don't like you discussing their competitor sites while playing. Not that you'd have much to say about FTP right now, of course. I don't tilt very often but hands like this send me spinning:

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $100(BB) Replayer
($5,880)
Hero ($6,120)

Dealt to Hero A♥ 5♠

Hero raises to $212, calls $112

FLOP ($424) 6♠ A♠ 7♦

bets $200, Hero calls $200

TURN ($824) 6♠ A♠ 7♦ 3♣

bets $500, Hero calls $500

RIVER ($1,824) 6♠ A♠ 7♦ 3♣ 2♦

bets $2,600, Hero calls $2,600

shows 2♥ 7♠
(Pre 34%, Flop 21.2%, Turn 11.4%)

Hero shows A♥ 5♠
(Pre 66%, Flop 78.8%, Turn 88.6%)

wins $7,024

And the really sick thing is that I wouldn't give a flying f* if this was a fish. I would just say "Nh" and wait to pwn him in a few hands time. But no, it's this guy:

(A genius who basically plays variance-free poker because he's so flipping good.)

And what I hate most of all is that this guy can call any two cards against me (an objectively strong reg, if that's not too immodest), heads up, and still find a way of getting paid off, right down to his trademark River overbet with massively polarised range.
