Again, I think his River call here is pretty optimistic (but I welcome your opinions, guys). I'm never shoving worse Qx for value so my hand is either Tx, or KJ. But JK is hardly in my preflop limping range...
Thankfully after this he went on tilt a bit and called off 6bb with T4o which is just plain bad (Nash is T7o, and I think the difference is relatively substantial here).

So first prize was mine, but much more important is that the illusion of invincibility has been lifted somewhat from his persona. It's really strange: For about the first 10 or so games we played together I thought he was really fishy (stats consistent at 26/9) with lots of limping. Then I finally got suspicious and checked his graph. I got the shock of my life when I saw he was crushing the game, marked him "orange" for danger and gradually I've built him up into this bond-villain genius nemesis character who I can't seem to beat. Thus it's pretty gratifying to see that he is human after all and makes mistakes just like the rest of us (albeit rather fewer than the rest of us).

if he tilts easily you might be able to find some nice value spots vs him if you can get him to tilt on 6 tables, its GG for him.

Yes, my guess is that, from the steadiness of his graph, tilt is not one of his big weaknesses. But we must exploit where we can...

Didn't fall asleep till 6am this morning. Stupidly decided to watch the remake of Willard which started at 2.00am. It was actually a reasonably effective horror flick. The wizzened old mum with staring eyes and mentally unstable mommas-boy son stalwarts of the genre since Hitchcock's primus inter pares, Psycho.
Big night at the tables too, so after the wired-up film my racing mind and sore throat kept me tossing and turning...
Felt lousy today. Lounged around and watched episodes of The Wire and Grey's Anatomy and praised the lord I could just take a sickie with no permission needed or difficult phonecalls where you do the croaky voice thing. As for poker, watched Faarcyde's latest video - that guy is the nutsssssssssss - and shipped a few HUSnGs which I am enjoying more now that my postflop play has improved.
Just went on <3's blog and saw something about FTP. Checked the news ( http://www.pokerstrategy.com/news/world-of-poker/Full-Tilt-Poker-Deal-Signed;-Exclusive-Statement-Here_53852/ ) and apparently the deal's been signed and it's official. Can't quite believe it but it's pretty fantastic news. Will do a lot for getting poker's rep back on track. Just hope we can get back on by Xmas. Remember, they still need a licence; can't imagine they will welcomed back (or want to be) by Alderney...
Anyway, off to bed to read Matt Dickinson's The Death Zone, about a tragedy-filled year in Everest's history (and no, I don't mean the glitchy-software-french-poker-site). Finished Julian Barnes' The Sense of An Ending the other night. Nice to be reading again. Life is good.

@<3, dunno; maybe thought I was raising a J for value vs A high or s/thing crazy...
@Gavron23; Maybe vs a known opponent (so we can stab/barrel air too). But imo when unknown villain calls stab on this flop it's like he's getting ready to make a move. Cos what can he have, other than 89 or s/thing? KQ will raise pre. So this looks like bluff float already and if we barrel turn we make it more likely in his eyes that we have something (and therefore less likely he will get funky).
