because short term results are super unimportant and any affect it has on your mentality is most likely going to be negative...Yeah, you got my idea right. I don't understand how short term results, for example looking at your 100 games graph, can change your game. That's why I asked.

I can see it very clearly how running bad in 100 games and seeing the graph can put you on a small tilt
Subconscious tilt most likely..
and it's also just so poker doesn't affect him as much in real life.. Knowing you had a bad day is one thing.. but knowing you lost $937.57 is a lot worse![]()
Personally not looking at my graph tilts me.. so I look at it on regular bases

But I have a super easy time forgetting all about poker when I stand up from this desk so it only affects my game not my life![]()
It just differs from person to person I guess.. but knowing the danger will help you understand the tilt and hopefully manage to not tilt.
Another thing I don't understand is stop loss. You're losing, means you have to grind even more to catch up with the EV, why stop?
Why I'm wondering about this is that I had a 30 BI downswing yesterday and I kept doing the same all the time and today I'm almost break even for two days. And looking at my shit run graph really helped me concentrate. [EDIT: btw I played 300 games over those two days, not a normal sample but still :)]
It is all about if losing/winning affects your emotions, your game, your decisions.
If not, then stop loss or looking/not looking on ur graph doesnt matter at all.
Ofc its all just one big session.
But i doubt anyone can claim he is 100% tiltless.
