It is quite common. On Party network I had 300 buy ins ds on WPT. Mind you, my skill set was different then and today but still 300 buy ins is a lot. 100 buy ins is piece of cake 
i would challenge your view that 100 buyin downswing is quite common.
I've played around 8500 games this year and my worst downswing is around 30. You could maybe get a coach to review a btach of games during that 100 buyin downswing, im pretty sure you either tilted or spewed but maybe i am wrong.

I both tilted and spew , aware of that, still think 100 buy ins is common in turbos just like 300+ ds is common in hypers

Got sick 2 days ago , was lying in bed all day yesterday and this morning also. Came to office today still sick, grinded 51 games, will try to play 100 more by the 8-9pm. After that going to hang out with gf, this weekend have best friends bday and I will not be in my town so no poker for 2 days at least. In the meanwhile hanged with girlfriend quite often, went to best friends birthday and now I am back in grind mode.
I will try to reach this month SN 100k , need 23.4k more until end of the month!
My larger goal is to play 5k games this month, hope I can make it. Let the grind begin!

I had an amazing time in Nis, and i really want to thank again to Predrag, Milan(Gerovit), and the rest of the Nis crew for their amazing hospitality. I am sure i will repeat the visit soon, if only to watch Predrag hit on random girls and 3bet regs with 85o 
I will bring a laptop next time so i can join the spewing

Finally can say that I am much more happy with my game this month. I am winning more HU's , fixed some leaks that I had in 4-6 players and overall decreased my tilting by huge amount. Its only 600+ games, its still lol sample but still I am enjoying calmness and control over my game finally.
By the end of the year with 150k VPPs there will be about 7k or so $ from RB and I will give my best to have ROI in those 3 months around 4% to earn 7k+ more just from ROI. That will get me about 7k+$ after we split everything 50/50 to play on my own from January I think even 200 buy ins will be enough roll for 15s but to be sure I will need minimum 300 buy ins ready for it.
So far month has been going great, I am still slacking with my volume goals but now I have much more solid excuses (gf, hanging with friends rather than spending time on FB, sport websites or watching some tv shows). Have 3600 games to fit in next 24 days which is exactly 150 games every day including today or 3 sessions 12 tabling 2 hours each session - very doable.

Just a quick update
So far this month played about 1.3k games , almost 98% on track with my volume requirement.
Monthly VPP's 7.4448.76
Yearly VPP's 81.845.49
Supernova VPP's needed 18.154.51
My goal is to get Supernova by the end of October. To do that I need in next 20 days including today to play 3057 games or average of 153 games a day. Since I am playing between 12 to 15 tables back and forth, this is very doable and reachable goal. After I reach Supernova, will aim for 50k in November and December, 25k each month - should be lots of fun.
In the meanwhile arranged in our poker office new habit, every day 1st thing in the morning to review my and Stefan's hands (alternating each day doing different hh) for couple of major things to look for. Those reviews will last for 1 hour tops and should really increase our working on the game part productivity. I honestly don't know many people that work on their game daily such as Gavron but I admire that will determination hard work, it obviously pays off.
Another final and interesting thing for today... Yesterday I used sharkscope for some of my opponents. Ponchua has almost 8% ROI on 8k games or so on 15s. He is definitely top reg on this limit and I have total respect for what he does. Obviously guy doesn't tilt at all, puts people on ranges great, navigates bubble in an excellent way and is excellent in HU , on top of this he doesn't level against regs so all this and you get 8% ROI - it is possible, it is something I will be aiming for in 2014 with 3k games a month + -.

Hope everything is good on your end. I am checking your blog and following, you haven't updated in a bit - must be busy period in life
Very busy here also, fighting and struggling with my time management, trying to change some time thieves and organize my time as best as possible. Trying to fit gym, working on the game, lunch dinner, 6 hours minimum grind, brakes in between , session with student and to finish all that by 8pm to have rest of the evening off with gf. Managed to pull it of 4 times in past 2 weeks but thats not enough, working hard to make it all a habit and organize it that way until the end of the year. Next year I will aim to play less (4 hours a day avg) 25 days a month + work on the game 2 hours 25 days a month (50% from total grinding) - really looking forward to that by the way.
The way things seem now, you might end up paying that 50$ bet but we shall see 
Yes mate, ultra busy with real life issues can't seem to find time to play. Still pretty sure the games will always be waiting for me.

I hear you Steve... Games will be there , Poker Stars will never die IMO. If they managed to survive black friday, buy off their biggest competition from that time, they are only going to grow more day by day. You will have no problem getting back into games, grind mode I am positive.

Its been 2 months since I switched back to 12 tabling 15s, here is the graph

Current ROI since that period is 1.6% and that is with nasty 100 buy in DS + electricity outage where I lost 12+ buy ins. I am positive I can bring it up to 4% minimum, with table selection definitely 7%+ is achievable.
I am not happy with time I put on working on my game, starting from tomorrow will work with Stefan (guy in our poker office) every day for 1 hour. Once I fix the leaks that I am positive make me give away buy ins easy , things will be much better.
On the side note, my tilting and spewing has gone down in past 2 weeks since I got new gf - it might be the best solution for mental calmness, who knows

Another thing, I just checked sharkscope and got a gold star for being 5th for total volume this year on limits 5-15s$ 5-6 turbo...
I started stars on June 10th, so in 4 months total I managed to climb to that 5th spot. Imagine if I was grinding stars from January ? I would be well on top with my volume.
Just goes to show you that even those top grinders at 15s don't grind as much as they could/should/want/,
Elio has 23k games after 10 and a half months. If I play next year 3k a month thats already bigger number then that (36k for 12 months) and he is always ahead of others , 2nd place is 18k games after 10 and a half months...
I can understand this lower volume if they are table selecting and going for 7%+ ROI but they are not doing it right cause I see like 3-4 regs in my games from 3pm on.
It seems to me that those regs on my limit either have another job/career or are simply lazy to grind steady 100 a day (4 hours 12 tabling - joke!).

Or they could be playing $30s as well that aren't included in this ranking?
Edit: nevermind, searched him and he has like 77 $30s this year ♦
