Another productive day with run bad at the tables :)

Taught total of 4 sessions, had a nice meal and then sat down to play. I keep running super bad in February (almost 40 buy ins under ev in 262 games) , bunch of setups regardless of the phase. I played only 62 games today, going home to relax with some nice dinner and watch some movie tv show.

Here are the results for the day!

February 3rd
62 games (2.1 hours)
ITM 24.2%
EV ROI -23.3% (-216.52$)
ROI -31.3% (-291.07$)
1st 12.9% 2nd 11.3% 3rd 25.8% 4th 19.4% 5th 21% 6th 9.7%

If this run bad continues, I will most likely purchase this 40k FPP bonus to cover for the buy ins right away. I will wait for 2-3 days more, if I keep running bad I will do it, if things start to turn around I will wait for the end of the month for 100k FPP bonus!

So please fell free to tell me more about your experiences so far. You can also write me your skype via community tool and can tell me all about it over Skype!

Japan is at the top of my list as a place to try out. Japanese women look super hot and it seems so different from the west. I hear it's very expensive though. If I had a degree, I would definitely head there to teach.

You could easily afford a good lifestyle Thailand on your winnings, based on last month. That would be eating out all the time as well. And the women treat you like a rock star. :f_cool: I have a small passive income and am mortgage free in the UK, so I was going each winter for a few months and was still getting paid, and the bills at home were low. I was staying in guesthouse/hotels at around $450 a month.

What's the community tool! I had a look about the site, but couldn't find any messaging. I did find and download Equilab. Great piece of software and great timing as my Pokerstove has stopped working.

3 coaching sessions today and 100 games + meal with my best friend.

Again running very bad at the tables, its getting to the point where I am starting to laugh at all the setups , wondering how long it will keep going :)

Here is the graph with info

February 4th
100 games (3.9 hours)
ITM 29%
EV ROI -5.2% (-77.45$)
ROI -23.4% (-351.61$)
1st 12% 2nd 17% 3rd 24% 4th 23% 5th 10% 6th 14%

I now have 1.2k on my Stars account. I will purchase bonus tomorrow to keep playing 15s. My other alternative was to play with this roll and if it dropped to 700ish $ to move down to 7s. I decided to buy bonus tomorrow (600$ for 40k fpps) and keep playing 15s.
Things will turn around for sure, just have to put the volume in when things like this happen.

This is the graph so far this month :)

820$ under ev RNR !

i wouldn't buy it if i were you.you can but the bonus anytime but once you bought it you will lose some value on fpp.just imagine you have those 600$ in the account and buy it only if you really need like having only 500$ in account and want to keep playing 15's.

i think it made sense and you will reconsider

That's true alx, but having a comfortable roll has some psychological benefits. I think it's a reasonable decision.

for example i keep some of my BR(i am even being staked) on skrill because of some deposit bonus or poker stars might close ...what i want to say is that instead of having 600$ in skrill he can have it in vip store because it takes to buy it as long as a deposit and the fpp are not going anywhere.

just my point of view,if you choose to have it in the cashier no problem is just that i think it might be a bit more productive not to buy it now

Am also against buyin the bonus...u cna buy it anytime u need the cash, dude...no psychological advantage neither, u already have the money, u can transfer into real cash anytime...

All in all it s hard to play with such small bankroll/life bankroll...maybe u r used to it, but I remember these situations, super stress :/ ugly. IMO now if I were back in that situation, I would go for 7s and massgrind super easy stts with low variance, u can make like dollar/game in there...but that s just me :)

Guys thank you for all your useful advices, really appreciate it.
I listened to them so I took 370 euro from Skrill and deposited on Stars equivalent of 500$.
Now I got 1610.83$ in my balance, hopefully those 100+ buy ins will be enough for February :)
I have money on Skrill to make another 100 buy in deposit but after that my life roll would be jeopardized. So hopefully this month I can at least brake even on 15s pre rb and buy 1.6k bonus in the end of the month.
Currently got 51.002.02 FPPs in my account!

I'm still a basic member. I was going to sign up through Betfred the other day, but the $2k promo had ended.

Sorry for getting back late to this great response man !

If you go to Japan before me please tell me all about it , I am obsessed with Asian girls and Asian people in general they are the nuts :) If somebody rules the world it will not be USA or Russia it will be Asia !
There is this Red Bull festival in Tokyo for music. Maybe you can look it up, get some job trough that organization. Worth looking into man.

Thailand is nice option for sure. I prefer girls from Japan to be honest so going to Thailand is like moving down limits
Didn't know it was that cheap to stay/live there. Right now my life roll and poker roll suck. By the end of this year I hope to have like 15k+ euro roll for poker and like 5-10k for life roll. Only then I can consider going somewhere like Thailand to grind from there and have easy life without too much pressure.
This year my goal is USA so it will definitely side track me from Asia goal cause I need like 3-4k $ just for USA trip (4 weeks - visa plane tickets and money there ).

Community tool is on 3rd icon from the top (next to shopping cart). I sent you friend request a while back, you can perhaps see it under invitations or something of a similar sort :)
Feel free to add me on skype if it doesn't work for you, my skype ID is : pedjasimovic
There is couple of us on skype, recently somebody added some guy from Belgrade with same ID !
So once you use this skype ID make sure it says that I am from Nis and you should be good to go :)
If you do sort out your community tool thingy, send me your Skype on there and I will add you as well ( I find its faster when I add people cause of this confusion with my skype id :)

Agree that Asia is waaay ahead of the west in quality of life etc. It's bizarre that they seem to want to be westernized!!! It should be the other way around.
I hear you about Thai birds. Do you think it's the nose? Seriously lol. TG's from Isaan have a pug nose, while Japanese and Korean birds are more refined looking. The Thaichinese are sort of upper class ( HiSo) in Thailand and hotter than the usual , but don't want a westerner. You can still get some with that look though. The thing about TGs is that in person, their femininity and fun nature, as well as petiteness and movement etc, and even the softness of their language and voice ,all add up to amazing women overall. Photos don't really do them justice.

I'm trying to think of a set of popular blues songs to learn in case I want to do a gig. I'm thinking some Gary Moore stuff, and have been listening to Stevie Ray Vaughn, but I can't get into SRV. It's a bit simplistic. Although I like his funky chops.

Today 3 coaching sessions from which 1 was sweat at Microgaming. All the sessions went well, look forward to the follow ups in 2-3 days.
Had a family lunch , enjoyed that a lot also today :)

As far as grinding goes, I did play my 100 games, in 2 sessions total 3.5 hours.
Still running super bad, setups all around the place!

February 6th
100 games (3.5 hours)
ITM 34%
EV ROI -3.2% (-48.26$)
ROI -8.2% (-130.28$)
1st 15% 2nd 19% 3rd 16% 4th 17% 5th 18% 6th 15%

All this running bad doesn't affect my mental and tactical game which makes me very happy.
Today I also remembered that I had run bad in December. Take a look at the graph and you can see how I was more than 100 buy ins below EV after 1000 games there but things turned around 3k games later :)

I am about to go home, make some diner and relax, before bed work on this system for gym/cardio/meals. Will post some of it tomorrow in the blog.

Enjoy your night!

I've meet some Asian people who dislike western way of life but also some who are more American then Americans :) It's very hard to categorize them and should be avoided in my opinion. I certainly don't have enough info to talk about it tons :) I did have sex with Asian girls and my favorite are from Japan.
Japanese ones are just more naturally beautiful in my opinion, but might be just me :)
I found myself not liking Chinese girls that much but then I remember Lucy Liu is Chinese so I tell myself not to give up on Chinese girls :P

Can you share some websites with pictures, hotels/hostels and useful info to places you've been in Thailand? Prices would also be useful!
I would be interested next winter (Dec - March or something) to go there cause I really don't like winter and snow, definitely more of a summer type of person. It would be perfect life , living in Serbia 6-9 months , the rest living somewhere else while its cold here or just traveling having good time relaxing!

For blues songs Gary Moore has great stuff, Still got the blues for sure but also stuff like Pretty Woman and P.Walkways.
SRV has great tunes , he had very characteristic style of playing that many others after him emulated. Check out Scuttle Buttin on YouTube, its less then 2 mins long and its got all his technical approaches in it. It could take you week or two to practice the whole thing with metronome (depending where your technique is at this moment ) :)
Check out Eric Johnson, he is one of my favorite guitar players. He has tune SRV dedicated to SRV obviously. I played that tune live on numerous occasions and general public (non musicians) seem to react really well to those kind of tunes. Manhattan from him is another classic. Cliffs of Dover is nuts instrumental also!

I got bunch of backing tracks and music on my hard drive. If you need any help with that stuff let me know I can send you some for jamming :)

As I said yesterday, started working on the Gym/Cardio/Meals system that I will start to implement immediately.
Here is my 1st draft or even complete version of it. Hopefully it can help some of you looking to do similar thing out there :)

Gym/Cardio plan

- Start cycling every morning 5 minutes (right after waking up form a habit for it)
- After 1st week add 5 more minutes for each day
- By the end of the 2nd month get to 30 minutes minimum up to 45 or 60 minutes
- Use tv shows while cycling to make it easier
- Drink water before and after (drink it every day 2 liters minimum)
- Have healthy meal prepared after work out in the gym
- Bonus workouts always welcome (football or basketball)
- Visit spa to relax body mind muscles once a month minimum
- Gym 3 times a week, mon wed fri, 10-11am, 5x5 stronglifts program
- Measure results on weekly and monthly basis (kg changes, number of times cycling happened or gym, how much % of expected was completed)

Healthy eating plan

- Breakfast with yogurt or milk + some bakery product
- Every morning fruits and vegetables after breakfast
- Lunch chicken, fish/tuna, some pasta or healthy home cooked meals from Merkator restaurant (beans and cabage and such)
- Include another snack meal with fruits and vegetables (in between grinding sessions in the afternoon/evening)
- Dinner more fruits or vegetables , lighter meal then lunch and breakfast (can be skipped depending on when I head to bed)
- Aim to eat meals starting at 11am breakfast, 1am fruits and vegetables, 3pm lunch , 7pm another snack, 10-11pm light dinner or another snack
- Drink plenty of water (minimum 2l) during the whole day
- Have a day off during the week to eat anything (it can switch every week to keep it interesting)
- Exclude coca cola , drink beer only on special occassions, mostly drink freshly squeezed orange juice/lemonade/tea/coffee/mineral water
- Measure on daily basis how many meals happened, were some rules broken etc

Go to bed not later then 1am , waking up at 9:30am latest!

P.S. Already cycled this morning while watching tv show and about to eat my breakfast now ;) My sleeping pattern has been awesome lately cause I am finishing all my coaching and grinding before 11-12 so I get really good rest and wake up with lots of energy (super important).

Today was the 1st day in February that I worked on my game checking hands!

I looked at 100 hands pre flop all ins 4-6 players to spot some leaks.
Saw some (as expected) too wide raise calls from regs, especially ones that do it out of spite.

As far as my 3 betting goes, I found some leak but will not write about it too much cause other regs might re adjust immediately by reading it. Lets just say that I found another edge in 3 betting vs regs.

All ins pre flop and calling all ins was very good which I expected to have no problems with in the 1st place.

Also coached 2 sessions already today, went really well.

Now about to start grinding and finish my day early today!
On track with my meals so far also!
