I am starting a new exercise. I plan to play a 30 players Deepstack Freeze-Out TN in the Casino within 2 weeks.

In ICMizer I will work with the 27 players SNG and 5 paid places.
Price distribution is

MTTSNG 27 players, 5 places paid
16 players left on 2 tables
Average stack is 25313 = 12.5bb

From today on I will only mention the CALCULATE +0.10%EV, as this will be the range that I will use in the live TN.

Average stack is 25313 = 12.5bb
Chips in play 405000 = 202.5bb

The range is much wider than I thought. I had in my mind that I should only push JJ+ after an openraise when I still have 12bb.
So probably because of foldequity you can shove wider.

Are you interested in studying and playing together in a PokerHouse in the Netherlands? Nearby Breda Casino, so we can also beat the games there.....

See my blog Poker Journey 2019 for a nice PokerHouse.

Now I am going to make some calculations with only 6bb left.
We are with 10 players on the final table.

MTTSNG 27 players, 5 places paid
10 players left on final table
Average stack is 40500 = 10bb
Chips in play 405000 = 101.25bb
Blinds 2000/4000/400 ante

I am LoJack with 6bb
The SB and the BB have average stacks of 10bb
CO is big stack with 25bb

NASH SHOVE 29%

Q9s+
QTo+
J8s+
JTo+
T8s+

T7o+
97s+

Nash puts the SB on a call-percentage of 15%.
Nash puts the BB on a call-percentage of 25%.

CALCULATE +0.10%EV 20.1%
22+
A2s+
A7o+
K9s+
KJo+
QTs+

So with still 6bb and you are in LoJack with 5 players behind you, don't openshove too wide.
No medium suited connectors and no small offsuited Aces, they are not strong enough.
All pockets, all suited Aces and suited BrBr are fine.

Yesterday I came in the money in an Unibet MTT EU2 for which I had a free ticket.

There were 71 players and I finished 11th, just in the money. I really had help from my ICM-study. I knew better where I had to fold and where to push.

Also I went to the Breda Casino and inscribed for the life TN next Tuesday. It is a deepstack progressive bounty EU 200.

Today I do the calculation when an average stack that is bigger than me, openshoves and I am in BB.
My shoverange becomes much tighter, because now my life is at stake.

Casino Breda Deepstack Progessive Bounty 15.000 stack, 20 minutes levels

33 players, finished 16th.

Bigstack MP 60bb openraises to 2.5bb.
I SB 20bb AQo.
I played the hand like a cashgame and just called.
I checked it in ICMizer and it had to be a push.

Versus a 20%-openrange my AQo has 56% equity.

xxx and 1 diamond and he cbets 40% pot and I call with 2OCs.
Qd on turn, so I have TPTK. I played like a cashgame and wanted to x/raise. But he checked behind.
Kd on river and 3rd diamond, so runner runner 3 diamonds. And I x/folded.

Did I have to be scared of the runner runner flush possibility?
No, if he would have had a FD on the turn, he would have 2ndbarreled.

Did I have to be scared of the K?
I think I could have made the call with 2ndPair that was TP on the turn.
There was no straightpossibility.

Conclusion
I misplayed the hand. I played it too much as a cashgamehand and not the way I have to play a TN.

1 I had to push preflop
2 As played I had to donk all in when I turned TPTK
3 Versus this quite loose aggressive player maybe I could have made the call on the river.

After this hand my stack was seriously damaged. I only had about 13bb left.

Bencb stipulates the importance to surround yourself with like minders.
It is so strange that in the live poker scene I cannot find some one that is interested in studying with me. I have asked so many persons, but they are not interested in studying ICM or analyzing situations together.

Furthermore Bencb says that it is so very important to know your ICMranges for the end game. Playing the end game correctly is very important to reach a good ROI.

I am starting to make ICMcalculations for Spin % Go's, 3 handed, 1 place paid.
Ranges will be different.

How can you make ICM calculations for Spin & Go when there is no ICM?

Okay I see, maybe I have to say 3handed SNG with 1 place paid 100%.
That is what I have created in ICMizer. Hyper structure. Do you think that is correct?

I don't have any experience with ICMizer and you said ICM calculations and the name ICMizer made me think that it can do only ICM calculations, but probably selecting the options you mentioned might do the trick. Can't be sure because I'm not familiar with the software.

Anyways, good luck with the study & grind!
