I set up a Skype account as jbpatzer. Once I'm up to the $6.50s we can do a 'sweat session' if you like. Notice I've put it in inverted commas as I have no f***ing clue what they involve, but, as everyone seems keen, and there's clearly no physical contact or extreme heat involved, I'm happy to give it a go ! 
My friend just posted some pictures from the weekend's BBQ on Facebook, and I thought I'd share this one with you as it illustrates what the British have to put up with in the summer. How I didn't get food poisoning remains a mystery.
Just heard on the radio that staff at the US embassy in London owe £3 million in congestion charges, but don't have to pay because of diplomatic immunity! WTF!
(Note that I've never typed 'WTF' before. This demonstrates that I am internet savvy and up to date. I said 'OMG' to a colleague at work recently, and he looked at me as if I'd just crapped on his shoes or grown an extra head.).
Day off today. Mrs jb and I are going to the local National Trust property for a day out while the kids are all at school/preschool. This sort of thing is very +EV for the old relationship. And she's good company, so should be a nice day. Top tip for you teenagers: find yourself a nice wife or husband. When I was playing poker last night a beer just magically appeared next to me, and then another one during my second set of 12. Brilliant! ♦

I am not sure, I should dampen your enthusiasm, but there is a grinder who gets up early to play between 4 and 7, and gets his coffee at 6.

yesss a great spouse is a must have. seeing as how ur getting a healthy BR quite quickly, (and with no risk) the wife must be pretty pleased... and its like an 'asymptote', the bigger it is, the faster it grows... (notice the use of inverted commas. and no kimber, there's a proper term for it, not inverted commas but i cant remember)

The bigger it is the faster it grows = exponential growth. I wish!
The more you have, the more you can risk = Kelly betting. This is the key to good BR management I think. But you have to watch out for the Peter principle = everyone gets promoted until they reach a level at which they are no longer competent to do their job. In poker, if you rise through the levels until you become a break even player, you won't be making money any more. You need to drop down a level (or more) until you have enough edge to make a profit. Of course, this is all hypothetical for me at the moment. God help me if the $3.40 turbos are my break even level. May have to try bridge again!

OK, so nice day out, Mrs jb off to paint other house, and after putting kids to bed, time for poker! If I remember, and this is not guaranteed, I'm going to tune in to Unam's SnG coaching session at 9.30. Never really engaged with one of these before, so I'm looking forward to it. Not sure what to expect. I hope it isn't too high stakes. $3.40 and $6.50 would obviously be preferable, but we'll see! The silver one's are probably my stakes, but they're usually too early for me to be able to concentrate with kids about. Anyone from PS reading this, any chance of some silver SnG coaching sessions after 9pm?
Managed to get in a set of 12 $3.40s between 3 year old and 8 year old bed time. Ran horribly bad (couldn't win my 80/20s, never mind my 60/40s!), but had a couple of bits of luck at the end to finish with 2 wins and a 3rd. Then realized I'd cleared $10 more of my bonus to make a $6 profit! Got to be happy with that. Will now put on kettle and watch one of Chenny's videos whilst waiting for coaching to start.

Watched part 2 of chenny's Running Good video series (Come on! Running Well! Adverbs!). Very good, particularly as it was $6.50s on Pokerstars. There's one brilliant bit where he, quite rightly, pushes ATC against the BB, who calls with AJs (which he shows is very -EV on the bubble using ICM), and sucks out on the guy who then, according to chenny, 'berates' him in the chat box. I don't know about you, but when I hear the word 'berates' I think Jane Austin and Elizabeth Bennet having a mild pop at Mr Darcy for being a bit 'cold'. This guy is typing stuff like 'go f**king suck some c**k you fing motherfer'. Chenny, you are a gent. As he quite rightly says, this is the sort of person we want to be playing against.
Then went to Unam's SnG coaching session. It was all $27 turbos, and I was relieved to find that there's plenty of donks there too!
Speaking of donks, had another really crappy session after Unam's coaching (obviously had no effect on me!), and finished with one first and a second. Will do a careful hand review tomorrow as I didn't feel I was doing anything particularly wrong. BR $560

I had to read, study and learn literature from those kind of books when I was 16-17. Sometimes it was OK but we were young kiddies back then who rather want to have a debate whether Television technique should be used in today's World/Euro cup soccer

It was originally used as a pair, so they are called quotation marks or inverted commas.
I have to read Pride and Prejudice next semester for my University foundation course. Not really looking foward to it. Not my type of book (the type you read instead of watch). The last (non-technical) book I read was the Hobbit. That was about 10 years ago.

Thanks Gerv. I Didn't realise the story was as old as it is. We did some work on Edgar Allan Poe last semester. I did find the older style of writing in his stories a little difficult but I managed to get through them. I found it helpful to have a thesaurus handy.
