Everywhere. There is like no fish on nl100 anywhere. 888poker usually has 2-3 nl100 table going while 12 waiting. Party poker is even worse because all regs open 18 tables and wait. :baby:

But the problem is that alot of nl100 regs are _forced_ to move down to nl50 because more fish but those are the regs you don't wanna play vs

I haven't tried nl100 yet (no bankroll lol) , when I start nl50 hu I went with 30 stacks. I try to build to 100 stacks before even trying nl100.

Have u tried other sites for HU? Like anonymous tables etc? I might consider.

lol dude, there are enough, believe me.

And if you bumhunt and don't live off poker then you can easily take shots with 30 stacks @100. fish are the same as in 50.

Aight thanks. I'll try nlhu 100 for sure but I need 30-35 stacks first. And I'm not running so well lately :f_cry: :f_cry:

you can try Ipoker (like 770) or Ongame (europoker) for HU cashgames, the big advantage is that you can use PTR, i think using PTR is +EV.

You can also get a first deposid offer there with like 30% rakeback.

The problem with 888 poker or anonymous tables is that if you play regs you dont beat the rake and maybe they have an edge on you.

I play at Ipoker (10/20NLHU) and i'll only play players who playing -10/100 or worse :)

My week @ HU: (about 5k hands so far)

Nice Non SD winnings!

Thats a point that needs a litte attention in my own game :)

imo no reg needs PTR, that's just stupid, cmon just play for 20 or 50 hands and you'll feel if you have an edge or no, then quit if you want to. There are a shitload of b/e reg who play you and you still have a good edge over them.

And about the non SD, nice one, just it's so villain dependent, i have been playing a ton of over agro people, so my non SD line just goes down as i have to tighten up a lot. :f_cool:

I disagry, because the rake is like 30/100 it will kill you if the regs don't do it :), so you have to table select pretty hard to find the players who will give you max value.

Like this hand for example, there arent BE players who would do this:

villian (80 (VPIPSB)-60 (VPIPBB)-45(PFR) shoved the 3 hands where i was the big blind before, so this is an easey snapcall:

IPoker, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 2 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $10.88 (108.8 bb)
Hero (BB): $10 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9 A
SB raises to $10.88 and is all-in, Hero calls $9.90 and is all-in

Flop: ($20) 5 4 J (2 players, 2 are all-in)
Turn: ($20) K (2 players, 2 are all-in)
River: ($20) 7 (2 players, 2 are all-in)

Results: $20 pot ($1 rake)
Final Board: 5 4 J K 7
SB showed 2 9 and lost (-$10 net)
Hero mucked 9 A and won $19 ($9 net)

Are you serious? On what network you pay 50c in a 20$+ pot?

Problem of me playing 10NL is that i dont have the roll for 50NL :(

I think youre rigt, if you follow this link you see the rake per hands on the different brands, they took these from a verry big sample:

http://www.pokertableratings.com/blog/2010/09/six-max-and-heads-up-rake/

Ipoker 10NLHU: 26,9/100
Ipoker 50NLHU: 12.6/100
Stars 50NLHU: 9/100

So the rake on the micro HU stakes is just sky high :(

About myself and poker for the past week:
Haven't played much tbh, maybe 1-2k hands. Running somewhat bad, haven't won much due the fact that two maniacs stacked me off for a total of 500bb.

Besides playing HU its somewhat boring to wait for fish, sometimes you have to wait hour(s). So I started to read some HUSNG articles in hope to play HUSNG while waiting for fish in the future.

Been slacking off lately as well playing too much playstation X(

@Martijn:
Yeah anything below HU50 is really high rake. Imo HU50 rake is very high, even on Stars your winrate is reduced by 9bb/100. Thats almost one stack every 1000 hands! Its much better on HU100 because the rake is only 6bb/100, about 33% less than HU50.

@Phantom:
Yep I've checked most HU sites and only Stars and 888 offers a good rake (50 cent cap).

yeah actually waiting for fish is obv boring, but if you have the roll you could just try and play all regs on your level while your wait for fish. And believe me there are quite some terrible ones bumhunting, obv most of them just won't play you, but sometimes when you find a rly retarded reg you can get 5 stacks easily and you can improve your game vs the better regs ;)

I paid 10,8bb/100 at NL25 6max so not that 9bb/100 is not so high imo.

I find it more boring to find a reg that will play than to wait for fish...

@ ragney: Why don't you play some SH while you wait on your HU tables?

@ ragney: Why don't you play some SH while you wait on your HU tables?

I'm doing that atm, playing few SH tables while waiting for fish. But for some reason I just hate SH because I can't get values with weaker pairs or mid pairs (like HU its sometimes double barrel). So I have to come back to the "world" of SH again

The reason why I'm considering to try HUSNG is because there are enough fish there. I'll keep playing SH for sure but just NL25.

Yeah I'm considering this. When I feel confident enough I'd put a max loss limit of 2BI vs a reg. I'll try to find some weaker regs (prefer if they are already deep) so I can stack off the first 100bb fast and than play 200bb deep poker).

that exactly the reason why i hate shorthanded, unless you play regs and quite deep, but then you don't have that big of an edge, so HU is way better, even playing vs the fish is more interesting

Meh fucked up a 400hand session vs a semi-fish, lost almost 300bb.

Fish stats:
VPIP: 53, PFR: 34, 3B: 15, AF: 1.0, Hands: 465
Notes:
Fairly passive esp river, seen him attempt a bluff or two from time to time.
Rarely/never raises with draws but does bet with draws.
For some reason he has a cbet of 78% which is really high.
3bets with broadways and Ax + Kx , called two 4bets, one with A4o and other A7s
Calls me lightly later on the game when he notice me bluffing there and there.

Somewhere begin of our session

2. http://www.handconverter.com/hands/1651662
Valuebet?

3. http://www.handconverter.com/hands/1651667
Pretty sure he has Ax but possibly Jx as well. Since he checked turn he wants pot control. River blockbet? About preflop: I can call but decided to 3bet this time.

How we play this ?( . If I'm going to call at least a street might bet myself?

Our HU this month so far. Lost alot of non-sd when I was facing a maniac and vs the last fish. Noted to review my last 2k hands for tomorrow.

Spoiler

will try to write a constructive answer:

hand 1:if it's early in the match you could even take a free showdown, see what he plays this way, but vbetting can't be too bad obv, if the river doesn't bring the flush imo vbet is a must

hand 2:nh

hand 3: imo 3bet is a tad too big, 4$ is enough, even 3.75 is enough. then it gets tricky OTR, as i think there are more Ax then Jx or PP in his range i think we should c/f, as we can't make a vbet and he's never bluffing his Jx. But it's close, maybe he checks back an Ax?

hand 4:meh, here i'm rly not sure, if he doesn't bluff bet QJ without diamonds, i would happily c/f the flop and then prob vbet turn and c/c river, obv not on diamonds.yeah, that's prob the line i would take
