I would ck the river bc I can't see what worse will call you with the flush getting there. Also it is always good to know his range here. So there is more EV to be gained by seeing his range than by making a really thin VBet on the river imo.

#2:
VBet for sure.

#3:
If he doesnt fold to 3B I wouldn't 3B it. I would also 3B smaller to 4$.
Post flop it is reeally villains dependant. Does he play fit or fold post? If you think he has Ax or Jx on the river I don't understand the river bet? Isn't he folding with Jx and calling with Ax?

#4:
I think c/f too. Again it depends on his range but we are barely ahead vs PP with one diamond so I don't think we can value bet that thinly here. Not too sure but that's what I think.

Yeah wanted to blockbet really small for that reason.

Played about 250 hands today, I also reviewed my old sessions. I noted ALOT of spews lately. This is really bad. I still have to go through another pack of 1k hands (checking every 20bb pot hands, aka 10+bb won/lost)

This hand is lil tricky.

Didn't want to cbet cuz he is capable of raising cbets, he is somewhat a weaker reg. I really wanted to call river cuz he isn't repping anything, most draws are busted. Dunno why I pressed the fold button, FML :f_mad: :f_mad: :f_mad:

Another gay hand. Villain doesn't seem to be passive but still unknown by that time. Do we call or ship it, given our stacksize?

1 hand if you take this line i think you have to call the river, a lot of shit has missed, but i'd probably just cbet and if i rly know he likes to raise cbets then just ship it, we have some equity.

hand 2 if he was 3betting a bit more, i'd just ship it in, they call a huge part of their range, but calling ane't so bad either, so nh

What do you want to achieve with the blockbet? He doesn't call you w Jx. He will call you with better. Why don't you Check?

Oops I thought I read he'll call my small bet with Jx. My bad. Since he is a semi fish, I guess I should do it smaller like 2bb

@phantommm92:
Hand 1: yaeh perfect sense obv. Another reason to call is to check his cards and take advantage of that in the future. Decent price to pay vs those odds right?

About poker atm:
I'm SHOCKED at how many spews I did. Atm checked 1500 hands and the spews are already at $400 :f_o: :f_o:

Will sort them in detail out to fix some leaks hopefully.

_thumbsup: Decent month _thumbsup:

Februari summary
NLSH25 (4k hands): -$50
NLHU50 (10k hands): $630
Rakeback: $120
Expenses (poker coach): -$50
Net earnings: $650

Graph:

Spoiler

Was forced to grind 3k NL25 hands for the past two days so I can hit 3000 VPP for gold star. But yeah my NL25 profit is kinda low. My last 50k NLSH25 shows a loss of $500 :f_cry: :f_cry: :f_cry:

And good luck to my blog hitting 10k views, thanks everyone :)

-----

Februari plans? Not too sure but lately been reading/watching and re-reading/re-watching some articles/videos. I feel kinda motivated so I'll probably spend the first few weeks of februari on studies to become even a better player.

I'm actually working for 34hours/week at a finance center. The income is lower than poker itself because I spend on avg about 1-2 hour on poker (if we calculate it $/hour wise)

But real work have no variance :f_p: (thats the only reason I'm doing it) , I hate and hate poker variance :f_cry:

Going live tomorrow with a friend. Anyone tips for live poker? I never played it before. The limits are 1/2 and 2/4. So I'll be playing the $200 buyin one.

My plan is to check how the table looks like before I play, I heard its FR, so 9 players.

I'll probably suck because I don't know what to do and say when I'm cbetting or bluffing :f_cry:

Yeah 2-2. How "soft" is it? Im going in few hours. What are the skill level there compared to online? Are they aggressive preflop? Or 3bet preflop usually nuts?

I do this in dutch, is easyer for me:

Niveau is 25NL, preflop je mosters goed raisen anders krijg je familypot, welke HC ga je?

agression is tafel afhankelijk, maar je hoeft er geen regs te verwachten die je gaan exploiten ofzo, als ze betten is het voor value :)

We gaan die van Den Haag of heel mss Rotterdam. Hoe spelen de fish? Zijn ze vaak aggro of passief? :f_biggrin:

ABOUT POKER, I FUCKING HATE HOW I FUCKED UP THESE POTS? Or they weren't that bad? They should be pretty bad imo.

1. http://www.handconverter.com/hands/1665888
Semi fish villain. He was more aggro than the stats shown up there. But ya overbetting 2x we rarely have the odds right? :f_cry: :f_cry: :f_cry:

2. http://www.handconverter.com/hands/1665892
Again semi fish villain but not the same. We got zero FE here, I gave a long though about overshoving there (1.5x pot) but I thought for some reason if he calls my turn bet than he'll never fold river given the odds. so fucked up hand, fml.

3. http://www.handconverter.com/hands/1665897
Vs same villain as 2. Was very early so didn't knew much about him except he been opening very button for 18 hands. But the calls are very bad I guess :f_cry: :f_cry: :f_cry:

hand 1:not really sure, obv i think it's a fold OTT, but it's even close OTF, hmm, can't seem to think of much to say

hand 2: actually i'm leaning towards a c/push OTT, but the nasty thing is if he checks back A high, but if i bet the turn i would make it huge, rly close to pot size, just to make sure he sees we are committed, if he only calls, we could even c/f river on blanks

hand 3: euuuww, vs that betsizing i hate the calldown, imo c/f turn, noone ever is bluffing that size and i don't think he would vbet like 55 here.

tho i would take the standard line here and cbet the flop and c/f turn and river, enough of people will just check down A high here
