Hey Mate,

Not in this section much!

Seen your last couple of posts, really impressive results from HU Hypers.

Very impressive year indeed.

Hope you don't mind if I ask a few questions:D

Are you staked, or have you ever been staked for HU Hypers?

Have you got any form of coaching in the last year to help your development playing HU Hypers?

What's the average waiting time on Star's for a game to load?

At the $30 games is there cartel's like with the higher up BI games?

Thanks:)

Nope, haven't been staked for HU hypers besides one small period when moving up to 60s.
Not really, haven/t gotten any form of coaching at all besides a very small period during a stake deal for 60s.
There is a cartel for 60s and above.

Ok cool,

Like I said in the last post, your results have been brilliant this year, which is testament to the hard work/ volume you have put in.

Your graph is one of the most impressive HU graphs I've seen over such a short time frame, in saying that you have put in a massive amount of volume.

Seeing your results has made up my mind to put some money on star's to play hypers there.

Best thing about stars is the low rake 2% or so? versus 5% on the site I currently play on. Will be interested what the lower rake / better player pool will do to ROI.

The biggest reason I've never played on stars is HUDs, I don't use a HUD.

I suppose it's not a big issue cause it will be mostly randoms, but wonder if it would help a reg using a hud, but then again don't suppose you play many games against the same reg, given the volume of players on there.

No idea what your longer term goals are from poker, but keep it going and all the best for the future.

Thanks, the player pool of 15s and below is so big that you don't really need a HUD if your uncomfortable with one. 5% rake is way too high and close to not beatable pre-rb in a hyper format. Your edge against rec players in a hu hyper format is usually capped around 8-12% ROI. You have to deduct the rake, at stars thats 4% (2% for each player). If the rake is 5%, means your paying a total of 10% rake.

Exactly :f_p: , show some of your giraffe's noob :f_love:

About the 60s, have some private issues atm (non poker related), dont wanna go in detail about it.

So managed to play 4k games this month, finished with about 8.5k pre-rb, ran quite good. Also just reached 91k VPPs, I should be hitting SN real soon, my first time SN ever :f_love:. Can't wait, got 250k fpps saved up :P

My graphs are an embarrassment. Still staying at around 4-5% EV ROI, but my volume is sickeningly bad. Managed a paltry 500 games last month, need to get it sorted!

The rake on my site is 5% total, 5.25, you win £10, 10.50, you win £20 and so on.

I always thought Stars was 2% total rake, or 2-3% total.

Not much difference then between the 2 sites, suppose there is a lot more volume though on stars given it's size.

My roi is atleast 8% this year from hypers.

Can't see there being much edge over "regs" in hypers unless they are pretty terrible.

Thanks for your feedback.

on stars are like 2% or 3% of each buyin, what it means? if you buy in for 15$, you pay 0.39$ on rake, so you end up playing for (15-0.39)*2

on the site you play, you are paying 5% each buyin, so, you are paying almost 5% of rake (5,25-0,25)*2

can you see the difference? this rake is so huge and maybe its unbeatable.

Hey x3 and daun

5% is defo beatable,

My roi on the site is about 8% for hypers, and that's in line with most of the other regs.

With bigger ROI for slower structures.

I guess you play on stars where the standard will probably be better.

it does not matter that much whats the rake % on the site you are playing on, BUT the rake-rakeback ratio you are getting... remember that most players get SN at best on stars, but other sites often offer way bigger RB deals. i know a guy who played hypers on everest or titan (dont recall excact site, but u get the point) and he had 80%+ RB deal... rake was insane ofc, but he was able to be only slightly below EV postrake so overall it was really nice option. in the end ofc he switched to stars, but that was only because of better traffic.

so it always depends :)

Can't wait for my first supernova ever. If everything goes well, will do a big update tomorrow! Sorry for the lack of updates. Over 250K FPPs are waiting :f_cool: :f_cool:
