My wife and I had COVID in 2023. We had both been vaccinated, and although it was the worst respirator illness I can every remember, we both got over it fairly quickly. Mrs Vorpal, however loves to sing, and used to do so very well. Now, however, she can only do so for a short time.

The Patullo bridge over the Fraser River opened in 1937.
It didn't last 90 years.
For the past 10 years or so, it has been woefully inadequate, so a new, cable-stayed bridge was build.
It was named the "stal̕əw̓asəm bridge"[1] — or "Riverview Bridge"
Yesterday, I went over it both ways for the first time, and created this dashcam clip of the trip.
