Vinzenzo Pappadopuli hosts $5 mill min buy-in 6-max cash games on Sicily. The location changes every week and I'd suggest bringing 3-4 body guards with you because getting into those games is easy, but leaving...in one piece...one lively and breathing piece...well that's another story.

Anyway, if you really think you're the player for this type of game, I'll hook you up with my uncle Charly and from then onwards - you're on your own.

On a less serious note - shouldn't Monte Carlo have some nice games going? I still remember that "€100k minimum required to enter" sign on the entrance door. So I'd imagine there are lots of fish there now, during the summer and all that comes along with it

y 2nd one is for real, i still have traumas from that trip...there we were, bunch of 18yr old kids, surrounded by expensive cars, hot chicks, old grandpas entering casinos like kings - and then, there was the sign, you need to have 100k with you or any form of proof that you had that sort of money - otherwise, you're considered street junk and can't enter such a classy place.

really put me in perspective, where we, croatian kids actually were come to think of it, it must've looked pathetic and annoying having a bunch of kids running around your cars, taking pictures and ruining your perfect gambling vacation in monte carlo

now off to night action. sick life. party, grinding, money, girls, party, feeling sick of so much vodka all the time, grinding, 4 hours of sleep, golf trnys, party, dinner, visiting friends/family, vodka .... .... ....

And tilt control, losing 2k in a few minutes in rl is not something everyone can deal with

oh yeah, live is ridiculously soft.. the NL2k game I play in regularly is easier than NL50 online (although, the rake is so high, you have to crush the game to break even, but that's far from being the case everywhere)

but isnt it easier to deal with tilt live compared to online. Online, u getting hands on other tables where u have a chance to mess up. In live, it takes a while to get another playable hand so u have timr to calm dow,

hmm and that means that it might take a month to get back what you lost in a single live night

i played quite abit of live game action over easter time @ brighton rendavous casino brighton and a few games @ the vic london.

Some advice i would give:

*Be very friendly and talkative to the guy/ guys to your left. Most players who play for fun end up missing value bets against you or stop bluffing against you in good spots where their ip on you jus because they like you (offering to buy them drinks always helps).

*If your up for it making fun or generally winding players up to your right is also very profitable. I always do this to players who seem cocky or arrogant. I've had many situations where they're constantly trying to outplay you postflop because of a few comments i may have said earlier, so being ip on them just makes it a battle their always gunna lose.

Other than that if you end up having a regular casino you go to for cash games, make sure you befriend some of the longstanding regulars, (you'll know who they are after 1 or 2 sessions) and inqure about home games.

Some of my biggest winnings have come from home games (beware though stakes normally increase 10fold by the end of the night atleast in personal experience.)

exactly what makes it worse.. if one steams, its falling down from a rock rly, coz with no hands u cannot do wonders vs 8-9 other ppl. Online tilt control is much less important and also much more natural.. u have action on other tabs u just play sth decent right away, no problem, sometimes u win with inferiour play with at least decent equity, live when u start playing every hand vs ranges of live nits u re drawing extraslim if getting too fancy.

lately i had to set my huds on new platforms so i tested NL2 again and can confirm that NL200 live was in avg even weaker than that pretty much anywhere i ve played sofar- regs are just passive stationary mostly, u vbet what u want when u want and when u get some bodytells read u have them fold anything but top5 nuts on R if deep.

-very good points! The last point abt getting contacts also. If u re nice and gambling a bit (u have to GIVE action, nobody wants to play vs boring nits), u can get contacts on quite filthly rich ppl who will want to play vs u later again --> not just pokerwise +ev presumably.

u actually think nl200live is weaker than nl2 online or are u just joking?

I think he's pretty serious. I've once played NL1k and it was incredibly fishy. It was like a dream table for any online game, even in NL50.
