i'm watching mainly all the vids from ps, one limit above mine and one below and of course my limit, because some concepts do apply too i guess.

articles i haven't read tbh, but i have some nice books from TT. So far i have read Fee's 6 max and Easy Game by Baluga Whale. Pretty good stuff there, i think i'll reread them when i move to nl50. I don't think the stuff that is there works that good @ limits < nl50 ♦

this week i had to leave my part time job as a network administrator at a company and i was pretty hard to do that since i got along so well with everybody and i had a really big fight with my parents on this theme which sucks a lot obv so my mindset and time was pretty poor for this week, but now it's really really over with everything. i have to apologise to TT again and i feel super bad about this. No more from now on, that's for sure.

Wow..even now it seems so strange to...

LOSE ~HALF OF BANKROLL!!!

yeah that's right. yesterday was a fucking brutal day. I started by playing a nl25 session which didn't went that great. lost ~3 stacks. i took a small break and i said hey let's see what's there at nl50. Ok so i entered and i saw another world tbh. Much more preflop action with 4 betting way more often, looser stack offs pre and people actually thinking. So it was pretty interesting but also a bit tough for me since i was in a couple of spots where honestly i didn't knew where i was standing in the hand and so i think i made some mistakes and ended up losing 2 BI. So i said, ok, you tried it, it's tougher, now get back to your limit. So i started another nl25 session and then hell unleashed. Omfg it was fucking crazy. I had a 97/85 over 112 hands crazy crazy guy sitting with a stack like 8BI. He was hitting like crazy. So there were some big hands where i had double stack and the fish busted me which was fucking crazy. 1 hand i had AA and he had KK all pre, he hit his king and then i had KK and he had AK he hit his A. Then i had TT on J T 3 board rainbow, guy had JJ and a lot of other hands in which i was getting totally crushed. I don't think i tilted almost at all. Even though i'm just (just?) 7BI under all in ev there were much more setups then that, like me holding TPTK and with 2nd pair sucking out another one or set on the river. It was really really sick. Today i took a break and i'll start playing nl10 again till i reach at least 600$ (500$ bankroll atm). I'm not in the mood of posting hands, maybe later.

Anyways i'm feeling better now and i think this shit made me stronger then ever and i ready to pwn the guys and i'm sure i'll be back @ nl25 in no time. Take care guys! ( of your bankroll too ) ♦

Not winning on your own limit, feel the urge to move up to NL50 to see what it's like there and loose some more, then still feeling like playing another session on NL25 and then NOT feeling like posting hands = bigtime tilt if you ask me (even if you maybe didnt stack of and spew around it's a stupid move to make and you obv had a clouded judgement and so that's tilt and lack of selfcontrol imo).

It's just plain stupid.

@ vonki: hmm, you might be right, but honestly after the nl50 session i was really in the mood for playing and i didn't tilt (tilt for me in this situation is that i lost lots of money and get crazy and start going up in limits and doing crazy stuff), no miss, no no!

2. So the guy limping was obs a fish and SB was a 15/14 guy. After his flop bet i though he might have me beat, after his turn bet i was sure he has me beat. So if i know this should i still make this call, just for the sake(correct?) of the straight draw? Do i even get decent implieds if i hit?

3. This one it's pretty interesting. This fish was playing 28/9 with 7% 3bet and he insta flated my 4bet. Now wtf it his range here? How should i proceed here? He had 57% fold to cbet, but i don't even think that i wanted him to fold. I mean i felt i beat his range here at least 80% of the time (floped flush it's hard to have (even tough he had it), practically just sets cuz i can't give him KK, AA after his insta call) so i just shove. I just made a short nl10 session to get the feeling. Omg now it seems way easier then before ♦ I finished the session +3 stacks, ev @ 6 stacks (fuck the ev anyway). So nl25 regs get ready cuz i'll be back!!! ♠_evil:

however, ofc there will be some tough times for u when playing poker. this is just the beginning, so be rdy for some more crazyness.

just some short bullet points:

- if u master losing, u will master winning. learning to lose is the most important thing longterm. learn from your experiences now. learn how your feelings, emtotions etc etc change when losing. think about how to improve all that.

- dont look back at this too long, 1 day or so is enoug. we always wanna look forward. also, its all just 1 big session + your sample size is .. .well ... super tiny ♦

- i dont mind your nl50 shot in general, tho u should just shot a limit when u a) feel rdy for it mentally, b) are perfectly fine with losing 3-5 buy-ins and then stepping back and c) in a sweat session with somebody else (in your case with me. nl50 is a different game, having some help in the beginning is def fine, even if its just 20 mins of play together, just helps not to forget that the game is basically the same, just some adjustments have to be made

- i personally think, if u wanna be pro, u shouldnt stop a session just because u were losing. i lost also 10 buy.ins today or so. but i was absolutely a gaming and i knew that. so i continued. end of the day i was up 5 buy-ins or so. volume is important. sample size starts with 50k hands. so if u stop everytime u run badly, u cant win much. cuz u will lose 40% of the time.

- i also think some kind of "gambling" attitude, like not thinking/caring too much about real $$ terms, but just trying to pwn and move up in limits, is a good thing (i was long time lacking here, so i moved up a bit tooo slowly) but dont get me wrong, too much is even worse. we are not gamblers, we are pros.

- overall: just make sure u learn a lot about yourself now. make sure u know how much and why it affects u. if u played your best, everything is fine. cuz u def. have an edge on nl10 and 25. probbaly not on 50, but even that im not sure. dunno the competition on 50.

I just 4 tabled nl10 and i feel that i respect the game itself a hole lot more now. I really learned a lot about myself in just 1 day tbh.

First hand, bet bigger flop and turn imo. If he's gonna call he's gonna call potsize too, if not he's folding anyway and you wanna get max value from draws and worse hands.

Hand 2 I would fold turn, aint no way a 15/14 guy leads 2 times here with anything you can beat. Most of the time he's gonna have a set or a stronger Ace then yours and he bets rly big. You got what, 8 outs for a one card straight? Should it hit I think he will slow down anyway.

@ 3rd hand I just wanna say that I don't think you can exclude AA and KK from his range, fish don't generally love 5betting and will like to slowplay their hands, so AA/KK is sure still in his range, but maybe not every time. Nonetheless, I would go broke too.

hmm, i would shit my pants when he just calls the 4bet but as played both options are pretty good imo, doesnt really matter if u shove yourself, c/c or c/r. SPR is just too small.

ok, so i take half of my analysis back. my bad

playing a lot is the key imo. 1 hour sessions are very bad (at least for me). either you quit too early, when you are running pretty good and start to know the leaks of the players on your tables, or as TT said you quit too early when running bad even though you played fine. during long sessions i start to feel comfortable with my tables and my play style and also with my opponents, and then i primal start to make a really good amount of money.

so keep your head up to the sky and just forget about what happened

It was very interesting tbh and he was talking a lot about his "animal" and "domination" mindset and his determination of being the best.
