I believe that if you're willing to work to achieve your goals you're eventually going to reach them, no matter what the situation is at the beginning. And the Hero here imho has proven already that he's willing to do that work, so I don't wonder why TT has faith in him.
Personally, I've seen alot of people in my life who don't really seem to care about anything that they're doing, just hanging in there doing stuff that they hate without realising that they could do so much better if they'd put some effort to their lives.
So it really cheers me up that there still exists people like Eminescu who are not going to give up on the first downswing. People who really try to improve themselves I mean.
Just keep up the good work Emi, you're gonna make some nice $ in the future!!!

I know there are many other NL SH blogs out there, but I just wanted to see what's going on here, since I've been following this blog from the start, and it seemed very promising since TT was a part of it, they also made a few very good session review videos and then suddenly nothing. At least they could say the project is over or something....
Dunno if it's okay or not to say anything before Emi, but I'll put you fellas out of your misery ...
Emi decided to leave TTT and as I understood, poker will be taking a "back seat" for him now priority wise.
Imho, poker + Uni don't go well together not only because of studying but because Uni life. It's hard to do both (congrats TT for actually finishing Uni ) !
If he chose University then it probably is the best choice for him. I'm kinda disappointed this project didn't have a good ending, like Radu crushing NL100 at least. Just goes to show you a great coach is not enough if the student isn't strong.
@Static: If you have Emi on Skype, why not ask him to drop by and clear up some of these things? I'm curious as to why he made this decision...

well it def is possible to combine uni + pokah, i also did it. however, its hard and u have to party way less than your friends at uni ofc.
anyway, emi is not totally quitting poker. he just quits our staking and coaching deal, but he will continue playing and will move up longterm. just slower than expected, but thats perfectly fine.
since ttt structure will change in 2011, he will still be part of the group - just not with any deal with me.

I'm also combining poker and Uni, it's going alright. I just put in about 2 hours per day of poker, with some forum reading and article reading thrown in. It's just 2 hours I might spend watching comppletely crap TV or playing FIFA with my flatmates, so no huge loss there. And then when deadlines come around i have to put Poker on hold for a while and attempt to focus on my work

I tried that too, but conditions were no favorable for playing good poker imo. So I quit Uni for the rest of the year and if I fail at poker I'll continue next year. As simple as it sounds, we each have to evaluate our options and pursue our goals the best we can.

I would love to be able to quit Uni for this year and concentrate on Poker for a while like you have done man. Unfortunately i'm in my 3rd year at Uni so that isn't really possible. I am hoping to have reached at least NL50 by the Summer, meaning I would be able to convince my Mum that I don't need to get a job and then I can concentrate for 3 months just on poker. If it all goes well through the summer I am considering postponing my Postgraduate plans for a year just to see if poker would ever be a viable option for income for me.
I don't know, I might be getting a bit ahead of myself hoping for a life of playing a game I love for money ♦ Now, just need to beat this NL25 monster ♠_cool:

Hey hey everybody!
Decided to re-open the blog as i restarted poker.
First of all i just wanna clear out why i left poker a bit aside. A lot of pressure was put on me from my parents side regarding uni (learning pressure) and poker (quiting pressure) and also i had some important exams closing in. Poker didn't gave me the results i expected (because of lack of work by my side) so i decided it's time for a break.
Now, i am done and i have also moved out with a friend, who is also playing poker but at a lower level (who thought someone can play poker at a lower level then me, right? :P).
Anyways, i don't have a fixed game and limit atm, i play 7-15$ turbo HU SNGs, combined with 8 tabling NL25 FR. That's about it. Also some MTT's once a week or so. All @ stars, since my Full Tilt roll it's stuck there
I look forward into updating this blog.
As of my goals, i just wanna put as much volume in as possible.
