Yeah I agree betting vs. reg here he isn't just calling another street with bare FD, so check calling turn lets him bet em which he certainly will. Also, when he bets river as well, he really narrows his range. It's unlikely that he's going to be betting JT/QJ/KJ and maybe even AJ sometimes (lots of regs get nervous when you bet/ch-call/ch and don't value bet thin enough). So when he bets river he's kind of polarised with AJ, 44, 99, JJ, J9s (we block) and busted draws that try and make you fold TT or something. I think your play was good vs. a reg tbh, unless you know he's good enough to bet QJ/KJ there.

had a bit of an interesting week results wise. there's been some tilt, some spew and not much progress. last few sessions have been pretty terrible in terms of how i'm playing and it doesnt help to be extremely card dead when you're at a table full of fish who never fold 
so in my tilted state just now i stuck about at the fishiest table i had open and there was this 1 epic whaletard who just could not stop hitting against me! so i decided to nut peddle for a bit...

Update
finally it is time for a proper update/review here. today is definitely a highlight for me since i've finally managed to reach my first $1k! i'm such a results oriented fish so this means a lot to me. for now i'm automatically more comfortable at nl25 so i will do my best to keep playing it whenever i feel good. i think my main game will still be nl10 for a bit simply because i feel like ive still got heaps and heaps of leaks that i'd rather fix before going properly to nl25. that said, i did get stacked there once today and i was surprised at how i didn't feel like leaving the room and puking down the stairs so hopefully that's a good sign!
i just would also like to mention that i'm not really ever playing on zoom anymore. i feel like it totally killed my mindset. i always start out ok for the first few sessions but eventually i start getting burned out and whenever i get coolered i start tilting really easily and sometimes it just keeps happening and happening over and over again without any room to chill out. poker can be merciless 
i saw my results since this time last year the other week and felt pretty crap about it since it looked so break even over a huge sample. well that was until i realised most of that bs was on zoom so i filtered out my zoom nl10 and got this:

so yeah i'm really happy with playing normal tables from now on. 4.7bb/100 so not exactly crushing but it's much better than how i thought i was doing. DAMN IT ZOOM.
a big problem for me with playing normal tables is volume. i just can't seem to get many hands in. i think this should probably be a long term goal for me since i often go for a week only playing like 2k hands which obv isn't very good. i also have this really fishy mindset where if not much is happening in the session or if i'm losing, i'll continue playing for a while but if i'm having a good session i'll quit it pretty early on because i know it would annoy me if i keep playing and lose that profit 
i really have to work on this. it also really doesnt make sense because if i'm having a good session then the tables are probably pretty juicy which means i should play longer and make more $$$.

Hey man, just move up! You'll get used to NL25 just as you got used to NL10 after NL4. The quicker the better! It's not even that much harded to beat, regs are barely anything better and fish are the same, just a bit less fish (not too much but noticeable).
You're clearly ready and are missing $$$$'s by staying at NL10.
Sick graph Lewis, really decent winrate congrats. What is it about zoom you find ruins your game? I still always alternate between normal/zoom and can't decide. Good luck and you should deffo take 25 as your main game now since rake is a little less right?
hey! i just don't think zoom is good for me because i end up rushing my decisions, losing some money, tilting because i rushed and lost, then trying to play solid while also impatient to start playing solid again, then i lose again, tilt because i got coolered, make more tilted spews, tilt because i made tilted spews, then tilt-quit. LOL i'm also just playing 3-4 regular tables for short sessions and really trying to focus on my decisions lately and it's working out fine.
after a really tilted run at zoom i switched back to regular tables, tried to play a solid game and instantly felt so much better/confident/less stressed/less impatient. that said i'm still dipping my toes into zoom every so often just because i fancy some action lol
i'll be playing lots of hands at nl25 from now on given my bankroll situation but i'm not going to make a huge jump. i'll probably mix tables for a few weeks or something
@ludicoka hi! and yeah i probably am ready for it as far as knowledge goes but something i've learned lately is that i really cannot play without a conservative BRM. i used to wanna use aggressive BRM and move up the limits like a boss but i'm still too results oriented and if i'm on a ~$650 roll and lose a stack at nl25 i feel reeeeally crappy about it and it just makes me tilt.

villain is a reg but have a small sample. i think i misplayed this hand - should have cbet bigger on the flop, should have at least raised bigger on the turn (even $7 or so is nice) to set stacks up for the river so i don't have to overbet ship. stupid mistake i think it cost me the rest of his stack. the guy tanked for ages and folded so must have been a big lay down. either that or he had 22 ♦
nl25 seems to be going okay this shot but i won't hold my breath given how i've ran/played before. i'm actually seeing MSS players now which i must have only seen 1 or 2 on nl10. also seeing a few regs disguised as fish at first - sat with <100bb on the table then all of a sudden later in the session their rebuy is back on and they play with reggy stats. pretty strange
