this is an interesting situation that happens quite often and it is never an easy decision, I usually play it this way but would like to hear some opinions and analysis about this.
vilain is a TAG reg, on the flop he could have called with anything ranging from pure air (a float) to the mortal nuts, on the turn I lead because I don't want to chekc and give him the lead, if I check he will probably bet like 3/4 of the pot with any 2 cards and then I would have no clue where am at. so I go ahead and he makes a BIG raise, I thought that unless he had the mortal nuts (a straight) he would never bet that big, he either has total air or semi bluffing a flush draw, he could have a combo draw too, but that's unlikely. so I 3bet him all in and he folds.
my question is, on the turn I was sure he was either drawing or on a complete bluff, is it the right move to re-raise all in to blow him off his draw ? or should I just call and let him bluff the river as well ?
alot of scare cards could come on the river and make me outguess myself and maybe fold the best hand.
vilain is vpip17/pfr14/af2.8
