I had a nice surprise logging in today to find I have been bumped up to Gold Status. Looks like I have it for 1 day though as I need too many points to remain there (I need to make 180 points by this evening 
)
I will have a bit of time later to view some GOLD material though so perhaps less playing more study while I have the chance.

Loving the Gold Articles and Videos at the moment, not able to play much as looking after my son, and taking in a lot of material in the interim.
I did enter the Sidekick hand eval promo, perhaps that is the reason for the upgrade. Whichever way I am enjoying it.
Got to play some poker to see if I learned anything though. I couldn't play much yesterday as Poker770 and possibly the whole iPoker network went down, but just logged in now to see everything working...
I managed to come 3rd & 4th in the 2 sngs I could not unregister from when the site went down - imagine that, I nearly cashed in a game I reg'd at midnight and didn't start until 03:07 (when I was in bed) !!!
I am actually on CS with Courtney (online support is online !!!) to see if I can get my 2x BI back. It is only £1.20 & $1.20 but that isn't the point - IT#S THE PRINCIPLE 
Lets see what happens, Courtney suspected I played 1 of the games, but I pointed out a hand that 100% would have been a shove and that I had folded. (I have a nice screenshot which pretty much proves either I didn't play the game or I am the biggest NIT in NIT Town on National NITTY day)

Small session as traffic on Poker770 was painfully slow so I topped up by running some Hyper 6max on Stars.
3 Played, 1, 1, 2
Mental Game was excellent, I really feel relaxed playing now, I need more volume but playing well and taking beats in my stride is such a refreshing change in my mindset.
I am waiting to see if Poker770 give me back the lost Buy Ins from last night, either way I am just happy to see the BR moving in the right direction. The 1st Bonus release is also in sight (only $5 but every little helps).
I am behind on ICM Trainer, having spent a lot of time looking through the PS GOLD content, but feel the benefit will be excellent.

The fish were swimming today, pity they were getting their quota of luck against me.
A9o v 42o - LOST
66 v A4o - LOST SET v 4 high 4 card flush
Then a standard KK v AQ hand that ran out QQ turn & river.
The great thing is I played those and ended up for the session and my mental game held firm
So far my Poker770 volume is pathetic this week at 26 games played, I need to up that rate, but the ROI is very nice at 40%+. I will knuckle down over the weekend and get some good sessions in.
BR is looking nice, although the £50 deposit is not strictly included. I did however remember to do a £ --> $ conversion and the current profit of £23.34 is actually worth $37.93 so I have so far made a nice profit with some bonus & sign up cash.
I had an evening off from Poker770 and played some slightly longer SNGs on Stars. 12man 6max came 3rd, 18man came 2nd & 27man came 4th so a nice try at these. My idea was looking at some other guys blogs on PS and watching some more videos/coaching I 'should' do ok at these. They were only $1.50s but paid out a nice 187% ROI ♠_cool:
I am pretty happy the format is good for making money as long as I keep patient and play well. I may play some more when the Poker770 games are slow loading. Also they run nice n slow being reg speed so stacking 8 or so should be ok... watch this space.

Another low volume day but a very profitable one. I am really confident in my game now and want to get to the next level. I am in profit $49.10 so half way there (50 BI for next level).
I assume the next level will be a bit tougher, time will tell...
For now I will enjoy the games I play and maintain my learning curve on PS.

All in all a nice Friday evening, may get some fun on these HORSE games too, I was playing other tables at the time, and seemed fairly unaffected by the antics on the convo - I marked my session Tilt Free although a dubious ATs shove was the only play I was unhappy with ♦

Mental Game was good, although a series of shoves with AK ended in failure, I did get close to a fist on desk moment, but it soon cleared. I took a deep breath and finished my last game with a win and ended the fun for the evening.
Going to watch another GOLD video and call it a night (feel a bit of a pussy going to bed before midnight on a Saturday though).
* it is amazing how I can convince myself the EV line is rubbish when I run good and look to it for consolation when I am running bad. Perhaps it's all a myth and I should ignore it totally
