i accepted this challenge a reg made on the pkr forum for a hu match 4 tabling 2 plo and 2he tables for x hands, this is how the first session went i did run pretty hot but still ship da monies:D
he was probably one of the better players i would probably not play him if any less than 4 but i think he plays mainly 6max and im used to 4+ tabling hu so it gave me a bit of an edge i think
Are there players players like that at PKR? They are ridicolously bad if so........... I never meet anyone of that std at FT ffs

By no means am I a HU specialist, i rarely play it at all, so therefore I'm a bit curious about that hand. Why not just call the river bet instead of raising? Did you have some reads of this guy or how did you end up in your decision? Was he the type of player that he'd call there with only Qx or something?

Villain is never folding on river with anything he is betting there with. Getting too good odds to do that. 3,5$ to call to win a ~90$ pot.

Obv this time hero got u/l on river.
idk really its std i jst got hit and run for $200 ish in the last 100 hands of my session which kinda ruined my day

hand 1 AK, why do you overbet shove flop? don't you prefer a standard cbet? if he is raising cbets light u can 3b shove and prolly get in ahead, if he isn't you can make gd fold etc? Why do you just shove? Surely you are only getting called by better?
in hand one i'd much rather check behind or bet/call 20$
i also think the rivershove with AJ would be much better as a c/c?

ak hand your probably right as i would have expected him to 5b shove all pp's in his range, and he's not folding them anyway on the flop, so most of his range are probably broadway hands that i might get a spew off if i bet less:P
the AJ hand i think its pretty close either way, but considering he called us wth 8x i think its ok, i think if we check it to him he is checking back a lot of hands with marginal sd value which he might call the river shove with, i think its also more likely that he has a 1 pair type hand that would check back than air that he would jst spew river with if this makes sense its 6am in the morning so it probably dsnt ;)??
iv also decided i will be taking shots at nl200 hu much sooner than i started taking nl100 shots merely because i think i wasted so much time in the transition from nl50-nl100 when nl100 is so bad 10 bi is enough;), i will obviously not be playing the regs though, i might even play shortstacked but iv got 20bi for it now i had to withdraw $500 and have to take out another $400 at the end of the month but so if i have a good day today maybe then i can start:D:D
