Wow, you totally BoomSwitched the start of you SSS career. That winrate is huge for SSS even if you are just playing the microstakes, even with a 7 BI Downswing at the end. Nice work.
Don't spend too much time playing on Full Tilt 
I'm guessing you'll find it more +EV and more fun to play on Stars on slightly higher limits with that bigger roll of yours ♦
Hey lessthanthree, I plan to stick mainly to SnG's/MTT's for now, I find them more interesting and challenging than SSS.
Hey DaPhunk, yeah I did get off to a good start, but my heart belongs with SnG's. I'll still continue to play SSS occasionally. When I am more practiced in it I will give NL20 a shot, as I have the BR for it now. I think it could be quite profitable, I have lost my graphs for SSS but I am still in profit from it.
How has poker been treating me lately?!?
Well, on PokerStars it has been up and down. I recently deposited $50 for the reload bonus, which upped my BR to $150~, and decided to give $5 9 mans a shot. I got off to a good start, reaching $190, but then hit a bad run back to $150. So I have decided to be sensible and move down a level to the $3's!

I have been doing great on fulltilt. I gave up on NL2 SSS coz I was constantly getting sucked out on, n decided to start playing 0.30c sattelites to build a BR conservatively. I did pretty well, but the progress was soo slow, so I took a chance, buying in 4 $1.20's with my full BR. I was lucky to get off to a good start. My BR is up to $20.40 now which I think is sustainable (touchwood!)

I dont know if you remember me, i made some posts in your old blog.
I was in a similar position that you are right now. I cashout all of my winnings and had left $15 bucks to gamble. I played a lot of 0,10 sng/mtt to grow my bankroll. Now im with a 100x initial bankroll, after 2 months. The worst part was at the beginning. You grind, grind, and you earn just a few bucks, so disappointing. Later will come bigger swings, if you can handle, things will become better.

Hey Alverine, yes I do remember you How much I play varies, my boyfriends laptop broke, so we share my PC n he is a gamer junkie. When playing SnG's I usually play 4 as a set, n play 4-6 tables for cash games. I hope to invest in a bigger monitor at some point so I can play more tables.
The only substantial progress I have made the past couple of month or so, has been playing cash games. When I run good in trnys it seems to always be followed by an equivalent run in the downwards direction.
So yesterday I decided I would play some cash games. I was debating on whether to give NL25 SSS a shot, but was a bit apprehensive coz I figured the NL25 players would be a lot better, n more cautious of SSS'ers. Then I thought about playing NL10 as a mid stack. I know it's not supposed to be the optimal way of playing, but it has its advantages. Players don't fold constantly when you raise, n you can play a bit looser, giving yourself more opportunities to extract chips.
I don't want to encourage anyone to start playing as a midstack coz the SS' and BS' Strategies are mathematically proven to be profitable in the long run. When I think about it now I could have just played BSS on NL5.
I ended up playing all day yesterday and today, n I've never ran so well at anythin in my life. Here is the Graph...

Flopping quads is always nice, I decided to check then just call the turn bet so that I appeared weak and not to scare them off.
The last few hundred hands didn't go so well, I was tired and became a bit too over confident.
At one table I decided to take out a personal vendetta against a player that I believed to be full of crap, when really what I should have done was leave, coz the av. players per pot was too low.
When I had tried to steal a couple times, he called every time, then raised my contibet on the flop, or bet the scarecard turn. His stats were like 75/40 with a +200BB stack, so I figured he must be pushing me around. I thought I'd try to hit a hand against him so he would double me up, but it didn't quite work out...
Firstly he had position on me (2 places to the left), so it was impossible to tell if he was even going to be in the hand except in the blinds. I limp/called some low PP's but couldn't call his flop bets, n tried to trap him by limping AJs which was the one time he folded. I called his raises on my BB with total crap, hoping I might suck out, but didn't hit.
Then I picked up AK, which I raised preflop, I bet the flop ( T T 7 ), n he raised me yet again so I pushed n he called and turned over T7...
So by letting myself get annoyed at the fish, I had turned myself into an even bigger fish and cost myself 2 stacks. This is a good lesson in why you shouldn't take poker personally or try to get revenge on a certain player. If its meant to be the cards will come.
Well to sum up my current BR stands at $313. I am not entirely sure which direction my poker career will go now, I think I should variate which games I play so I don't get bored. Any advice or opinions on mid stack strategy?
I personally think you should either have a go at NL10 BSS or just focus on SSS'ing or something. I mean what will you achieve by midstacking?
There is so much more value to get by playing fullstacked. Midstacking just makes no sense to me. 
+ you cant really go setmining when you're a midstack either.
And I dont know where you play but I dont really find the players on NL25 to be that much better then on NL10. I mean yea there is a difference, but not many of the players will be able to play winning against you when you play according to the short stack strategy.
So if I was you I would read through BSS articles, watch videos and go for BSS! But it's all up to you. A tip is to focus on one thing though, it would be very rewarding I reckon.

Hey vonki, I took your advice and read through the BSS articles and gave it a shot but I didn't really get into it. Below is my graph from playing full stack. I haven't put much volume in yet, so it could get better given time.
I don't really feel motivated at cash games right now. It's weird coz sometimes I can play poker for hours on end n never get bored, n other times I start playing n just lose interest. I suppose if I'm winning or losing could be a factor >.<
Soo anyway.. I decided to grind some trny's the past few days and I've been running pretty hawt. I'd almost forgotten what it was like to make money playing tournaments. 
I've mostly been playing $2-$$5 90/180 mans. I made one final table in the $2.20 turbo 180, where I won $72 for 2nd place. In the $3.25 turbo 90's I managed to come 1st place winning me $74.41, and also came 4th twice for $25.65. And in the $2.20 90's I made it to 2nd n 7th, winning $33.30 and $7.65. I also made ITM in some others but no other final tables.

I was doing pretty well in a big MTT, with a juicy $800 first place prize. When I moved tables there was quite few shorty's to my left, which I thought would be great for bullying. It didn't quite go to plan, n my stack painstakingly dwindled into nothing, busting me at 41st. I can't complain though coz I've had my fair share of luck recently, my eyes just get too big for my head when I start thinking about winning a big MTT. Its probably actually faster to grind it out in SnGMTT's and STT's, than to wait for the luck needed to win a big MTT. Who knows what the future will bring..
Well I managed to get my BR up to around $480, but lost about $35 donking around on PLO. Lucky F'n fishes kept thrashing me n I kept reloading hoping to make it back -.-
This girl at one table kept raising EVERY hand, and bet bet betting, n never seemed to lose. If I had a straight she'd have a flush or a higher straight, if I had a flush she'd have a full house. The worst was my QQ set beaten by quad 6's on the river. When I folded a few times she showed me her total bluff. The final straw was when I limp raised my AAxx (there was no doubt she would raise) n she hit a set with 22, so I left the table.
Then at another table, I reraised this guy with KKQx n he 3bet me so I just called, on the flop I hit a nut straight, I bet, he shoves, n he flushes on the river... n I'm already pissed off at the other player as it, so I'm in self destruct mode. I just wanna win a damn pot and take all ur chips!! AAARRGHH.
Anyway enough moaning, I'm done with omaha for a while. I shouldn't let other players affect my state of mind. Come to think of it, it never really happened till I started cash games, in trny's you lose n ur out, no chances to plot your revenge.
So now my current BR stands at $444, awesome progress since a few weeks ago. Hope I can keep it up!
Just a quick post! I've changed my blog title from "~Getting Back on Track~" to "~p0kerQT's $erendipity~", coz I think I'm back on track now. For those that don't know what serendipity means, it means discovering something by good fortune, so using a "$" sign is a play on the word, "The lucky discovery of money".
So now I've made some decent progress on my Stars account, I will focus a bit more on my FTP acct, n try to reach silver on PS. I managed to get the $5 my friend sent me up to $33.77, grinding $1 9 mans and with a little help from rakeback also . So I'm gonna grind some more $1 turbo's n see how that goes!
Well, I'm changing my blog title coz I think I jinxed myself! >.< The past couple of weeks I haven't had any great success, not been doing so well in MTT's but evened my losses out by hitting an upswing in the 9 mans. Overall I'm +$20~ since my last post, although $10 is from a StellarReward. Making my BR $465.32.
I haven't played as much as I would like to have done on FTP, it's hard to play the $1's on FTP when I could be playing higher stakes on stars, but I got a bit of volume in n managed to get my BR up to $48.76.

Just finished up a set which left my BR at $498.50 so I played a $2 omaha HU SnG to try round it up, n succeeded. I've weened myself up to playing 6 tables now rather than 4. I never really used to like turbo's coz I thought there was too much luck involved, but I have done some training with ICM which has helped improve my game. I was getting bored with regular speed as the SH part of the game seemed to last forever with everyone being so deep.
Well, I have reached (and passed) 2k games in total on stars since my start on poker 2 n a half years ago, so I will post my lifetime graph at some point. I wanted to do it now but I already used up my 5 searches earlier >.<
I haven't really made any goals yet so I will make some now.

Are you crazy? 70bi for $12 180Man? I cant say that you will go bust, but the swings, the phsicology, the tilt factor, it makes 70bi a fucking crazy move.
Really, go back and try to set a new bankroll management.

I always used a agressive brm to build up my br. But for the 180Man turbo 100bi is the minimum necessary. The 45Man you can use those 70bi if you real ROI is decent.

AaaAARGH I'm on a downswing. I'm down to $397 which is over 1/5 of my BR. Like the past 30 mins my TP-TK/GK has been beat by 3 sets, I've lost AA vs KK, KK vs AK, JJ vs AJ and a load of other crap like that. I think I'm tilting now 
guess its time for a break.

hey just read through your blog in more detail this time. Seems like you play exactly the same games I did a month ago. I wouldn't be discouraged by this downswing. It seems like you are a solid player and you will easily get through this.

So, I haven't updated in a while. I took a break coz I was getting sick on a breakeven period, n I lost my motivation. But now my mind is refreshed, I am getting back into playing!
I played a few sets this evening and they went pretty damn good!
My first was a set of 4 9man $6's which I placed 1st and 3rd.
Then I played a set of 6 18man $3's, I busted 1 early so joined another, n out of 7 games, I came 1st place twice, got a 2nd, and two 3rd places. Not too shabby!
After that I played a mix of 18/45man's, successively, which I ended +$20.
In total I made $82 profit so far tonight. Now I have to grind some more so I can maintain SilverStar, coz I've been slacking! I will update on Sun or Mon with how my month went overall.
Well, I am officially useless at keeping a blog! I should probably start off where I left off.
Just over a month ago I was playing the SilverStar 30k freeroll. I was doing really well, with around 6k entrants I made it down to 3 tables being the chipleader, which I held until there was 18 players. Then I screwed it all up in 2 hands, 1st was AQ vs JJ I lost the flip, then on my small blind I pushed Q5s got called by 67s(!) for about 12BB, they hit their 7 n I was out. I won $75 which I suppose is really good for only paying 100fpp's but I was sooo close to winning $3600 n was pretty annoyed so I withdrew $200 leaving my BR at ~$300.
Since then I have managed to earn around $300 making my BR total now $592.
