yeh I know don't play drunk... I only played a few $1.20 sng's tho so I didn't risk too much 
I haven't really updated for a bit coz I haven't been playing much, spent the weekend at my friends n been at my boyfs for a few days. I think I can get one good day of grindin in later (♦), out partyin tomorrow night n prob at my mates the rest of the weekend.
Hii, I played on fulltilt for a bit last night, I decided to see my $28 on there as part of my whole BR, So I 2 tabled some $5's n got up to $50, decided to 4 table n had some pretty bad luck...
I had a nice stack of around 3k at one table with the blinds pretty low, n the bigstack (had around 5k, everyone else around 1500) raised my BB from the SB to 300, I had QQ so I reraised him to 900, He called then insta pushed the flop, there were no higher cards just a flush draw so I called n he'd hit a set of 8's, no Q on the turn or river n I was out. N i lost another with AK pair+nutflush draw to T8s who hit their flush, managed to make 3rd in the other 2, but ended around +$18 for the day so I can't complain too much
I haven't played on stars since my drunken attempt a few days ago, I deserve a slap on the wrist tho, instead of paying my phone bill I decided to go shopping 
so I've had to withdraw $120 off there to cover the rest of my bill. My BR on stars is now $216, I think I'll stick to the $5's for now, coz my original plan when I reached $250 was to play the $5s n move down if I fall below $175~, well I haven't fallen below that! Hopefully I won't hit a downswing any time soon.

The stars one doesn't look too bad but I reduced my stake level since the peak to $1.20s-$3.40s so around 11 buyins on stars and 8 buyins on fulltilt, I guess it seems a lot worse since I withdrew some of my BR too.
I still feel that I'm playing good tho, just gettin kicked in the face by variance.. most of the hands I've lost in the push/fold stage

It happens to me too - after every sick upswing, I catch a downswing. As long as the upswings are bigger than the downswings its all good tho!

Hope you get over your downswing soon, I found SNG downswings harder to take than cash for some reason.
Thx guys, well I guess I can say my downswing ended I played a 180 man $4.40 (a bit out of my brm but I was planning to redeposit the $120 I withdrew so thought its ok) well I came 2nd for $144 ♦ It was really fun, the dealer was loving me for a change, when it was down to 4 players I called shortstacks all in for 40k ( i had about 60k) with 99 vs AQ, an Ace came up on the turn but a 9 on the river ♦ Stievro was playing too but couldn't catch a hand, he made ITM but then busted out on a coinflip Thx for railing me the rest of the way stiev
Now my graphs on stars look pretty nice and my BR is back to what it was before I withdrew some money (its $343 now) I think I will try to grind to make the UK promotion, not sure whether to stick to sng's what I know or give SSS a shot to make more fpps!
Well my week has come to an end, I did pretty damn well! made ~$220 profit which is by far my best week so far on stars. My BR stands at $435 now n heres my PT3 graph
I've decided to start 8 tabling the $3.40s for practice, and to make more VPP's for the UK promotion. Its pretty easy at the start but once it gets SH at a few tables its pretty hectic, especially if I'm heads up in one... I just played a set of 10 games (coz I busted 2 early AK vs K8 n QQ vs KK) And I managed to come 2nd in 3 and 1st in 3, the ones I came 2nd in was when I was playing 6+ tables, coz its pretty hard to concentrate, but I managed to come 1st in the last 3 ♦
For 8 tabling I'll stick to the $3.40's till I reach $500, if I find it ok I'll move up to the $5's. For this month I'm gonna concentrate mainly on STT's and only play on stars, next month I will try some more MTT's and try n do somethin with my $25 remaining BR on fulltilt. Thx for reading

Hey Kyle thx :), I'm just playin the $3's while I'm 8 tabling, I usually play the $5's when I'm 4 tabling. I decided that I need 100 buyins if I am 8 tabling coz a downswing could be pretty destructive, n playin the $3s for now is good practice for when I move up to the $5s coz I had never played more than 4 tables much before. The reason I have decided to start grindin 8 tables now is coz theres a UK* promotion where I only have to earn 20% vpps to reach silver, 16% what I would normally have to play to reach gold and 10% of what I'd have to play to reach platinum, and some great vpp bonuses if I reach 7500 vpps (but I seriously doubt I'll make that many ♦)
Next month I'll try some $5 mtt's and play some more of the $2-$4 MTT SnG's and see if I can manage to outlast all the donks in some of the $1-$2 MTT's.

That Supernova promo is UK only afaik. It is a pretty damn sick promo tbh. Then again other people can "just" qualify for the WSOP main event and be supernova instantly

Hi, I had a pretty good day on poker today, I didn't play too much just 6 games coz I was busy with becoming a mod n all. I did really well in the games I did play tho, I decided to 4 table some $5's coz I wasn't really in the mood for 8 tabling, I might leave that till a later date n move up to the $10's when I reach $500. Anyways, I played a set of 4 n got 2 1st places and a 3rd which I was pretty pleased with. Also played a 27 n 18 man sng, placed 1st in the 18 man, n lost a flip with JJ in the 27 man so came 8th
At one of my tables there was this donk directly to my left (He was BB when I was SB) n he was calling every single one of my raises which sucked coz I kept pickin up strong aces or small pairs then missing the flop, so I decided I would adjust to him n just push 20BB into him instead of raising regularly, I picked up TT n he called QJ or some crap n my tens held we ended up heads up n he called a 40 BB push with a gutshot n I stacked em, so I wasn't complaining about his fishyness anymore ♦
